Augustus broke out into a smile and went to hug Lila beside him

Lilia hugged Augustus tightly. She laughed slightly and hugged him a bit more. “Baby I’m so happy..” She giggled.

"As am I...can we get going? I want to see the kids"

Lila nodded. She took him home. The twins were excited and ran straight to him. Lila got Brooklyn.

Augustus bent down and hugged the kids. "Hey darlings, I can tell you missed me"

Ryland nodded. “I missed you more than indigo!” He declared. Though indigo frowned. “Nuh uh!! Daddy I missed you more than bubba..” She pouted. Brooklyn gasped. “Daddy!!” She reaches for him. Lila tensed, “Brooklyn?! Honey that was her first word!!”

Augustus looked at Brooklyn in shock as he went to take her. "That was your first word baby" he smiled

Lila handed her over. Brooklyn giggled, nuzzling her face in his cheek, giving him plenty of kisses. Lila looked to the twins, “Why don’t you two go show daddy the drawings you made him?” She smiled. The two ran off to their rooms to get them, before they returned. They had pictures of the whole family, Augustus performing, indigo had one of Lila with a big tummy asking for a little brother. Lila hadn’t seen that one. She tensed. “Indigo baby.. oh my.”

Augustus looked at the pictures enjoying them, but then he stopped at when he saw the drawing Indigo made. "So...you want another sibling in this house sweetie?"

Indigo nodded. “Just one more.. a little brother..” she pouted.

Augustus looked over at Lila and flustered. "How about in a little bit okay Indi. Daddy just got back from the hospital"

Augustus handed her Brooklyn. "I think you should play with your sister. I need to talk with mommy"
