The little white and brown kit sniffled, his cheek bleeding and his stomach rumbling. His knock-kneed back legs shook as he inadvertently crossed the border of HawkClan. Somebody help me please... He thought, a tiny sob escaping his chest. When he physically couldn't walk any further, he curled up in the roots of one of the large Red Wood trees, his ears pressed flat against his head.
Help me... [joining] I'm all alone...

The little child was always out of camp, never being around the elders long enough for them to keep a handle on her. So she as out and about, making her way through the thick foliage of the grass that tried to push back. With her small size it was hard to get around but that never stopped her before. She walked with a brisk pace, huffing softly as she moved before her nose picked up a scent. It was unfamiliar but she was delighted to find something new and she jittered as she moved faster, struggling and pushing till she got to the roots of the Redwood. Her head peered in and when she saw the kid she gasped brightly. "Who are you!?"
-
The kitten lifted his head sharply, squeaking. "Please don't hurt me! I don't mean any harm..." He'd spoken before even realizing that this kit wasn't much, if any older than him. His large hazel eyes were wide in terror. Moments later, when she hadn't moved an inch to hurt him, he relaxed a tiny bit. "My mum always just called me Baby..."
-
"Where is your mother?" The warrior would interject, coming to a halt alongside Technokit and settling a curious grey gaze upon this newcomer. Her overall demeanor was calm, yet attentive. Upon closer examination, she could tell that this kitten was tired and frightened, and no doubt cold during this harsh November. It seemed almost ridiculous to waste time questioning the tiny lad when he was in such a state. "On second thought... I believe questions can wait until later. Why don't you accompany us back to our camp? We'll get you some food, water and a warm place to rest for now. You can tell us a little about yourself when you've settled in."
-
"we're not going to hurt you, so stop squealing." the child would bluntly inform the stranger upon her arrival, strutting onto the scene with a look of disapproval placed upon her delicate features. audrey hadn't even been present a minute and the child was already getting on her nerves; making the youth snappy and unfriendly towards the babe. the group of hawkclanners was obviously not threatening the small child, verbally or physically, and even when he realized this he still carried a look of terror on his face. after all, how scary could two catsunes around his age and a calm, sweet adult be? the child would scoff at the situation and shake her head a little, a scowl forming on her maw. the girl knew she was supposed to be welcoming and stuff, but this 'baby' kid was honestly just making her frustrated.

aww your cat is adorable & welcome to hc! <3Sick little lost kids made her feel sad. Kids didn't deserve to be in any sort of pain. They deserved to live out their childhoods happy and free of any misery- though she knew that was as likely as a pig sprouting wings and flying into the moon. Even so, she would work hard in order to ensure the happiness of her kids. Mostly the survival too but happiness was essiental. A life without it wasn't really a life worth living. It made her feel even more empty knowing how little she felt joyous nowadays. I've got to try, haven't I? Nodding to herself, the tabby continues to stroll along until she picks up on Technokit's voice. Talking to... a stranger? She picks up the pace, half jogging/limping to where she knows her stormy grey daughter is standing. Audrey, her other daughter, is also standing there alongside Darkskies. She eyes up the little white and brown kitten they're talking to, golden eyes losing a little bit of their edge. A bleeding cheek? What happened to him? Audrey's comment makes her eyes go sharp again and she angles her face towards her pink mottled daughter. "Audrey, be nice." Littlestar growled, stub tail twitching. Hey, she knew she wasn't the best role model for being nice but her daughter was being rude to a kid younger then her that was clearly traumatized over something.
Besides, she had to try and be a parent. She had to try and teach manners. Her attention slowly shifts back to the kitten supposedly named 'Baby' and offers a smile, if crooked and a little off. "You're gonna be fine here, kid."

Baby was surprised at the sudden appearance of all these cats. He didn't like the one called Audrey so far, and she didn't seem to like him. He realized that he still had his ears pressed tightly to his small head, and he lifted them slightly. "Oh, um, th-thank you..." He stuttered. The grey kit he'd first seen was more or less just blunt, as far as he could tell, and the larger black cat seemed very nice. He wasn't entirely sure about the one who'd told Audrey to be kinder.
Ooc:
Oh thanks you :) I'll make him a fancy post at some point. -
HESTIA & SHATTEREDKIT
The demon would come over next and offer a casual hum. On her back rested the child known as Shatteredkit. The female dire wolf would settle in and tilt her head a bit. Watching calmly and then offering a faint nod in hello. "Welcome to Hawkclan. I am Hestia. If you need me, just ask." She would let Shattered speak for the first time then. Offering the kit a faint nod to show she could do it.
"Hi.. I'm Sh.. Shatteredkit." The tiny form seemed nervous about speaking really. But, she had done well and Hestia offered a slight woof in approval.

— But where were they going without ever knowing the way?
Baby looked up sharply at the dire wolf and the cat on her back. None of his movements were all that smooth so far. He'd briefly forgotten about the blood on his cheek, he rubbed it, and some smudged onto his paw. It just made him remember what had happened a few days before, and he frowned a bit. When he realized that they had spoken, he looked up again. "Oh, th-thanks... I'm Baby..."

the child would huff in disdain at the sound of her mother's chiding. the child knew she needed to shut up and start being nice to people, but the girl just couldn't seem to help herself. whenever something irked the femme she just couldn't seem to help herself from dwelling on the (normally) tiny detail and flipping out. it probably wasn't normal for others to experience this sort of thing, this easily triggered aggressiveness, but this is what audrey considered to be part of her average day. after all, everyone has their quirks, right? hers just happened to be a sort of strange anger problem..
but the child would try her bet to suppress this emotion for once so that she could please her mom, and so forced a smile onto her black lips. "hi, baby. it's nice to have you here. do you neeed anything?" the girl's voice was falsely sweet and a little too melodic, but she hoped the youth wouldn't be able to sense it.
