Time for another one of these. He had a few things in mind to say already, and felt pretty optimistic about the direction this month would take, and hoped his Clanmates would share his enthusiasm. The tiger stepped up, relaxing before he called out, "It's that time again! Come over here for a meeting!"
SOON THEY'RE GONNA HEAR THE SOUND (open, meeting 11/9)

The snow colored lioness, having heard Roy's call, left the warmth and serenity of her cabin to join the male. Her belly held about a glass of wine and a small rabbit - enough to assure her she'd be warm. You would think her thick coat kept her plenty warm, but Fauna was always cold. The minister lifted her head to watch Roy as she waited for his announcements, offering him a smile in greeting as she settled down in a more comfortable position.

Yeah, a meeting sounded super freaking boring. Although, it wasn't like Harper could exactly complain. She was showing up to it on her own terms. She'd been tired of being practically clueless to everything going on in her new home, especially considering the fact she'd been hanging out around the Thunderlands half of the time. She had made her way over shortly after Roy's call, finding a place to sit and wait for further announcements.

The dark feline approached after Harper, sitting near the back so she would remain unbothered. Archipelagoisland didn't have any time to deal with the same 'ol talk and bugger she usually dealt with, but for now she kept to herself. She remained silent as she awaited the announcements from Royalguard. Hopefully these were good, or else she'd be disappointed.

★ — Rose Quartz wandered into the meeting area next, her eyes glowing with a glittery twinkle. Was this her first meeting in SkyClan, or her second? If it was her second, the first must have been bland, or else she would be able to recall it more easily. Hopefully this meeting would prove to be something worthwhile, she decided, as she selected a seat in among the gathering SkyClanners.

ROYALGUARD The tiger waited as others arrived, thinking over what he would say. He didn't really want to announce a new deputy, however he understood Archipelago's reasoning. Anyway, that wasn't what he wanted to start the meeting with. He always started them off with activity reports, and that's how he would continue. "Activity's slowed down a little bit, which is alright. Can't always be perfect." He started off with a cheerful tone, optimistic due to the fact that they were seeing more new faces. "We've got some new members since last meeting that I'd like to give a warm welcome. Welcome to Harper and Steve!"
His friendly smile dropped afterward, his expression relaxed now. Might as well get the more important issue out of the way; they need a new commissioner. His choice was likely predictable, considering the current ranks. "Archipelagoisland has stepped down. If she is alright with it, Fauna is promoted in her place as commissioner. You've been loyal and welcoming ever since joining, so I'd be happy to have you hold this rank, if you accept." He never wanted to force anyone into the position. He knew how much responsibility it carried, but he felt Fauna could handle it. He trusted her. "Auroralights and Sylvia receive a warning for inactivity. In addition, I'd like to promote Rose Quartz to an astronaut, thank you for contributing so much." Well, there was no more Sky Council members now, but he was sure that would change soon enough.
He personally did not have any super big events planned, but perhaps he'd come up with something soon enough. A feast would certainly be in order by the end of the month. "The Blackheart Rogues are now one of our allies, and they will need an ambassador." Royalguard called out, hopeful about the new alliance. He wanted more allies and he had been meaning to go out and propose some to other Clans for a while. Oh, and he almost forgot - their name change. "We are officially changing names from SkyClan to The Frontier to help encourage our changing, improving Clan. Hopefully you're all okay with the sound of that." In hindsight, is roleplayer probably should have hosted some IC event to make this more realistic, but that didn't come to mind until now. Whoops. "The weather is certainly growing colder, so be sure to be ready for it." In fact, the days were growing much colder at a much more intense rate than he had anticipated, and he knew what to expect living in the mountains, so this was weird. "That's all!"
Summary:
- Activity is a little slower, but that's okay!
- Welcome to Harper and Steve!
- Archipelagoisland stepped down, so if Fauna accepts, she is the new commissioner/deputy. Nice!
- Warning to Auroralights and Sylvia for inactivity!
- Rose Quartz promoted to astronaut. Awesome!
- The Blackheart Rogues are now an ally. That's cool.
- SkyClan's officially renamed to The Frontier.
- Weather's growing colder faster - be ready for some cold days!

★ — Rose Quartz’s activity had recently dropped, but she was hoping to rise it up once more soon, and a smile shone on her maw as she wasn’t promoted to an astronaut. She felt no guilt accepting the rank, despite her initial doubts when Archi stepped down, and a stream of kind words flowed steadily from her mouth as she grinned. “Congratulations, Fauna, and welcome, Harper, Steve. And thank you so much, Royalguard - I won’t let you down.”

Domino listened, and as much as she wanted to be an ambassador for the blackheart rogues, she was far from active enough. Her honey brown eyes were bright still, giggling. "The Frontier sounds like a southern movie." she commented, remembering when she read a few stories about cowboys and the like. the warrior liked it.
// rushed + tired.

Fauna's eyes went wide. She hadn't been aware that Archi had decided to step down, and she didn't expect herself to be promoted in her place. Big shoes to fill. "I accept, Royalguard, and I hope I can be as good a Commissioner as Archi was."
