writing personalities help?

    hey, so ive been on this site for like 5 years maybe? 4? i dunno

    but after all the time ive spent on here improving my writing and such, ive never been really great at forms when it comes to personalities.

    i can write good. i've gotten many compliments on my writing, but for the life of me i cannot write personalities.

    is there anyway i can improve this?

    im not the best at personalities either but!!

    try breaking it down into good, neutral & bad personality traits

    and try to balance them if you can unless they're a more bad/hostile person

    or positive/good one


    I usually take the time to describe a single trait at a time & give an example or two to help describe the character more in depth on how they are

    i generally try to separately list those personality traits in categories such as positive, neutral, and negative, and then once I get to the grand personality portion, I’ll combine all of those separately listed traits into paragraphs for each type. It allows you to explore your character on a more personal level, (especially if you give examples or something they’ve experienced to make them like that) and it advances your character, something nearly everyone would be happy to see.
