  • Lanterntail stalked through the gloomy tunnels, the petrified trees around him loomed over him as he continued forward. Small glowing vines in multiple colors dotted the trees and the whole Cave looked like something from a fairytale. Maybe thats why the ancestors had settled here, why they had created this forest so that everyone could see its Beauty. The Beauty of the Caves and the underground.

He couldnt understand why most creatures chose to dwell over the ground, where the threatening sun scorched Everything in its way. He disliked the openness and were slightly, no very agoraphobic. It meant that he had a phobia for open places like, he shuddered, the overground.

He stopped when he came to the small shrine, it was made out of the black stone, Obsidian. Obsidian represented strength and loyality and thats why the shine was made out of it, keep strong and stay loyal to your ancestors. He left a small gem, no bigger than a tooth, on it. It glittered in the shine of his tail as he turned around to go back to camp.

  • Miki, on the other hand, did enjoy being aboveground, but had gotten used to living underground after being with the Tribe for years. The deputy was leaving the obisidian shrine herself after depositing her own gem. She tried to leave something there every once in a while. Spotting Lanterntail's glowing tail, she raised a paw in greeting.

//Probably going to make Miki's account soon, once this better takes off.

  • Miki, who had also left a gem on the shrine, raised a Paw in greetings to him. He copied the gesture and flicked with his tail for her to follow him back. He wanted to speak to her about the sudden plauge that had wiped out nearly half of their population. They needed to find a cure to those who wasnt immune to it like himself, a consequence of surviving the plauge. They also needed to inform the shadow wyrm that they needed a cure in case of emergency but he was sure she was already experimenting.

The tunnels vines grew brighter every minute, it was soon time for lunch. When the vines glowed the strongest it meant that the moon was high on the sky. The tribe had adapted to the vines light and was nocturnal as most glow vines saved energy during the day in the overworld.

"So, Miki, any suggestions on how to find the cure of the plauge?" He had some ideas himself but he'd like to hear his deputy out.

  • "Maybe figure out how it's spreading, first. That way we can focus on curing the ones already infected instead of passing out the cure until it could potentially run out." The kitsune had once seen a plague starting when her old clan began to hunt rats, and it was much easier to stop it from spreading after their healer realized it. Miki's tails twitched, remembering the lives lost.

  • The small form lingered at the shrine long after the others had left. His wings fluttered slightly, as he gazed at the gems placed there. Taking would most likely get him killed. Giving on the other hand..

He pushed a red gemstone towards it, too big for him to lift up to actually place it on. So alone it would sit on the ground as he lingered there.

  • The green dragon sat in her den hovering over her large herb stash. This plague had killed so many...she had tried blending herbs and testing their potency, but none were strong enough. Still, her pale eyes remained to her work, mixing and testing. She had an idea of what each mixture would do. She sighed, she really needed to find the source to know to cure it. Nirvana cared for others so much, she hadnt eaten or slept proper in two days.

A white winged fox with eagle feet for front paws, walked up and set his own gemstone on the Alter. It was a fine Amber that had a mythical insect inside. The enfield closed his eyes and prayed silently, his snkowy pelt and soft wings seemed to have a light glow to them. Artair was currently the only Enfield in the group, it had been so long since he had seen his own kind.

Kai strutted up to the Altar and placed a large ruby there. Even though he was prideful, this wasn't a happy time. He still held his head up high though, and an arrogant gleam was spotted in his amber/orange gaze. The red, orange and white kitsune dipped his head slightly to Miki. "I would agree with you there. I could have said it better myself, though. We find what's causing this horrible sickness,we stop it,and find the antidote." He spoke haughtily. The cocky kitsune was arrogant but smooth with words.

  • Miki was tempted to slap the male kitsune with a tail, but said evenly, "Maybe rats? I noticed we had a couple of them in the prey pile. Like that one you ate." Well, it was a large mouse, but the deputy wanted to mess with Kai a bit, and see the expression. Miki kept her face serious as she waited.

  • Lanterntail nodded, obviously glad that they had the same answer.

One after one the members walked into the petrified forest to the ancietn altar that stood almost in the middle and left a gemstone on it. It symbolised different things to put a gemstone on the altar, maybe a big fight had been won or your love had finally said yes. He put a gemstone there for his sorrow, for him mother, his father and all the victims of the plauge. Behind it were big dents in the ground, filled with precious stones and metals that they'd found on their journeys through the Caves. There had been rumors of a greedy drake that had tried to steal from them but in the story he had been severely punished. It was probably something someone made up long ago but it had stuck with the tribe for generations and it kept creatures from pawing on the gems.

He snorted with a small laugh, mostly for trying to keep his own hopes up. "Dont squabble with eachother now, we got plenty of things to do. Like finding the problem of the cure." He nodded at Miki. "Those of us who aren't immune should try their best for the others safety." His voice was tired but his mind worked overtime to go through possible conclusions for why and how the cure had been made.

  • /Sure

"Hey Marks!" The Shadow hydra looked in the direction of the firery manticore. "To solve this problem with the plauge's Creation and how to stop it we need fresh Eyes." He paused and smiled a troubled smile. "Do you have any ideas on what or how the plauge spreads? Even the slightest guess can be a help." He tilted his head a bit and the wavering light from his tail cast upon the creatures around him as they continued toward the camp.

  • //Thanks!//

Marks turned to look at the hellhound with his lion head. "Mm, through the air, like a cold?" He had no clue, but it seemed like a safe bet. He summoned his sister. She was young, but maybe they needed a child's perspective. Though her answer, from space, left something to be desired.

  • Nirvana sullenly looked at her herbs. She just didn't know what could help. She wished she knew the cause though.

Kai, the autumn colored kitsune snorted. "I don't waste my time eating mammals anyways, unless thats all we have." It was true. Often Kai was eating fish type prey,or birds, even reptiles. Kai held his head high still, but one of his tails wagged slightly, liking that Miki had attempted to tease him a bit. He often hid his playful side. "Maybe it was in a water source?" He asked. "That was tainted by something."

Artair finished praying and opened his deep blue eyes. He was often silent,so he listened to the others with silence. He was the only enfield left, could somewhat relate to the kitsunes, because they were part fox.
