  • Aron the Aron

Loyalty to their Trainer is what drives a Pokemon to take care of a child. A child left by their once-beloved partner in the wake of their death/disappearance.

Here are the options for My Character:

The type Your Pokemon character can be. Choose from this list:

  • okae, meet the new parent!

  • Cherri was completely numb as she stumbled the streets of Ecruteak; her eyes were empty from what she witnessed. Everything happened so fast to the Zoroark, and she was still processing the shock of it all; the family left behind... And then it dawned on her as she saw the lonely door to the house. Paige... The poor girl still didn't know, and now there was no one left to take care of her...

  • There was never a more strange, yet at the same time, sad sight than a young child sitting near their front door. Paige hadn't been there all day. She started lurking when she realized Mom was taking too long to come home. She promised she'd be back. She just had to do something...

The blonde peaked out nearby windows. Hoping she'd see Mom and Cherri coming.

  • Cherri could see Paige's bright blue eyes through the window as she opened the door and stepped inside. The police were already transporting the body, and they knew that it was an accident... But the Zoroark still held a heavy guilt inside of her; she felt that she failed her Trainer in her time of need. And now Paige was an unknowing orphan; with no relatives whatsoever...

  • "Cherri!"

Paige sounded so happy. She jumped off her little perch and moved to hug her mother's friend. This meant nothing but good things. It meant Mom wasn't too far behind. She even peered behind the Zoroark hopefully.

  • Just seeing the happy smile on Paige's face broke Cherri's heart more as she stood there lifelessly. She could create an illusion and pretend that Paige's mother was still alive until she was ready, but it'd only hurt more when the little girl found out...

Putting on a fake smile, Cherri hugged back and hoisted Paige into the air with her strong arms. She carried her inside to the living room before setting her down and closing the door, pointing to the kitchen with a raised eyebrow. Just because she was a Pokémon didn't mean she behaved like one, being taught by Paige's mother (might need a name soon) to do human things like cook and clean helped greatly whenever nobody else was around to take care of the girl.

  • "Oh! Yes, I-I'd like dinner." Paige got the meaning quickly. Mama had taught Cherri how to do human things. Even how to better talk with humans. Well...Just with gestures. The girl swung her feet back and fourth as she watched the Zoroark from the couch.

    (How about...Meredith?)

  • (good enough!)

Cherri flashed a gentle smile as she busily went into the kitchen. While cooking in of itself was relatively easy to learn, her anatomy was what provided a majority of the challenge. Her gigantic mane of violet hair proved troublesome if it caught something, and her claws tended to get in the way of precise things... But the Zoroark was crafty, and quickly figured things out if the smell of sizzling omelettes was any indication...

  • Paige waited as patiently as any little kid could. Rolling around on the couch and still kicking her legs a bit. Still unaware what had gone on while she'd been waiting at home.

(I have a different name for Paige's mom: Cecelia)

  • Soon, the Zoroark was done despite a little difficulty, the delicious smell of omelettes in the air as Cherri came back with two plates. A smile, bittersweet and fake, was on her face as she set the plates down on the table. One glance at Paige and she was already close; she had to quickly turn away to calm herself down. She couldn't break down in front of her...

  • Paige tilted her head before switching her attention to her food. Tucking in like a Gulpin. Until she stopped and realized something: There were only two plates. "You forgot one for Mama." She pointed out innocently.

  • Cherri froze in panicked horror as she realized her blunder too late. She had to come up with an excuse, fast!

Pointing at the second dish with a tilted head, the Zoroark then pointed at herself and shook her head. Hopefully she got what she was trying to convey, but having an inability to speak Human was sometimes aggravating...

  • ((Well I thought It'd be fun if I could play as a Genagr who is always stirring up mischief. He'd , be mostly hanging around either to mess around with the kid or just stir drama. ))
