Winter couldn't stay in the castle any longer. The snow leopard was itching to go out and maybe hunt, or explore more of the forest, cover every inch of the island. It was natural. She kind of viewed it as her territory, in a way, and back in her old home, she patrolled her old territory almost every day. Winter padded out of the castle, past the walls and the huts that made up the village, and into the forest.
Winter had no idea how much time had past or how much ground she covered. She had just realized how far she was when she felt the snow start to fall heavily enough for her to shake herself off. It was difficult to see where she was going, so the snow leopard just trudged onward, until she found herself at the beach near where she herself first landed on the Black Isle.
"Anybody here?" She called, but her voice was muffled in the wind. Winter might have to wait it out and then go back. She wouldn't be able to retrace her steps since the snow would cover them. God dammit.
