The tall pale gray dire took a draw off her quickly shortening cigarette, allowing the thin wisps of smoke sit in her mouth for one dramatic second before exhaling. She had very certainly kept to herself, and had figured it was about time she learned the name of atleast one other for her stay here.

This was rare for her, needless to say. Alought having no reason to be, she was so anxious about how she was perceived by anyone she had met, no matter what she thought of them. Everything about how she presented herself worried her- was she sitting weird? Should she keep her feet together when she sat or apart? What if she smelt weird?

The young femme wasnt even sure how to introduce herself to others without being pushy or obnoxious. She wasnt the one to go up to someone and start with the 'hi, here's my name, you're cool, lets be friends!'

Putting out the cigarette was a good start.

She ashed it out from under her foot, crumbling the tobacco and leaving behind a pathetic spot of ash. The young lady sat, clicking a porcelain nail against the ground, nervous.

  • It was fairly easy to tell when someone was nervous, either they reeked of it or they looked like they were slightly scared, kinda hunched over and all of that. Or maybe it was a nervous twitch of their own paws. Either way she could tell that this girl was having a bit of an issue right now and so she moved forward stiffly, making not to move her bounded sides too much as she made her way over. Sniffing just a bit as she eyed the direwolf her gaze trailed over her form before she breathed out a slow breath and settled down. "Hmm, I've never tried smoking before. Is it supposed to be relaxing because honestly the smell is repulsive." Though she would have to say that she did not mind any of it truly. It was fine if someone wanted to use that as a way of relaxing and a light hum left her throat before she settled down, very very slowly, a wince spreading over her facial features. "I'm Sek by the way, who are you?"

  • Being nervous was something that Sugar understood. Although, she'd never been one to pick up on it very well, especially when it came to other people. Everyone seemed to carry and handle their nerves differently, which was often hard for her to keep up with. She didn't understand how smoking exactly helped, since it smelled terrible and was extremely unhealthy. Although, she wasn't going to bother to complain about it. She'd approach shortly after Sekh, figuring that she might as well introduce herself to the unfamiliar girl. "Uhh - hey, my name's Sugarpop. How're you doing today?" Even if she wasn't the biggest fan of small talk, it was at least a way to start a conversation, right?

Nervous. That was a word that could rarely be applied to Calina. She was unsure, or worried, or doubtful sometimes, but never nervous. Even though she herself didn't feel like that often, it wasn't too hard to tell that Svetlana was. The way she tapped her claws against the ground- that was what gave it away to Calina. But it hadn't been the nail-clicking that had caught the bulky canid's attention. It had been the smell of cigarette smoke wafting through the air. Smoke had started to become something of a comforting scent to Calina, thanks to how much she lit stuff on fire. However, this wasn't the regular type of smoke. It was tainted in a mildly unpleasant way, a little stinging. Calina swung her head to see where it was coming from and, lo and behold, there Svetlana was, putting out a cigarette as Sekhmet and Sugarpop walked over.

The gray creature was another one that Calina had seen around the clan but had never talked to. She had only been a face in the crowd. The way she tapped her claws and looked around made Calina curious. It came back to the nervousness she displayed. The hellshadow had to wonder why she was anxious. Calina padded over to her three clanmates, greeting them with a simple "Hey." before turning her attention mostly to Svetlana. "You look nervous. Got a horde o' demon monkies trying to steal your soul or somethin'?" Calina didn't know where the hell that idea had come from; she was only trying to add a little humor. In the process, she had thrown another question on top of the two that Svetlana had been asked. Apparently it was "make somebody host a Q&A even though they don't want to" day.
