  • As the boy was taking out the others with ease he paused when he heard the sound of a cry and looked over to see the boy that had been next to him struggling with one of the gang members. He paused his actions and put his hand up slowly. He examined with a blank face what was going on and deemed it unwise to fight anymore how things were. “Let him go and I will willingly come along” he stated. It didn’t look like he cared if the other was hurt or not though so instead of trying to use the boy and a threat they just grabbed him and onto the other then lead the way to the hide out.

  • I whimpered softly from the blow to my side, the pain stinging slightly. Suddenly I heard the commotion silence, and then the boy who I was just next to proposed a 'trade' if you will. He had no emotion painted on his face and I couldn't tell what he was thinking. The man holding me loosened his grip on my wrists pushing me forward towards their hide out. When I was side by side with the boy I whispered, "Thank you... I, uh, don't know your name".

  • The boy looked over at the other as they walked as he heard the small thank you. He turned his eyes to in front of him once again. "Korin" he stated in the same tone of voice he had been using since the start. It seemed to be his name and a few seconds he turned to the boy once again. " Yours?" he felt a sort of want to know of the other boys name. It would be quite odd if at the end of this they continued being strangers.

  • I was pleasantly surprised when he answered my question. I giggled slightly, how I could laugh in the situation we were in I don't know, I simply liked his name. "Korin," I said letting it hang in the air for a moment, "I like it". We walked a few more steps before I looked over meeting Korin's eyes and hearing him ask my name. The tone in his voice didn't change once, he was so calm and I admired that. "I'm Zeke, Zeke Crawford," my name rolled off my tongue quietly not wanting the people surrounding us to here. It made me uncomfortable when people knew my name without me knowing theirs. 'Korin.... what a lovely name' I thought to myself.

  • Zorin repeated the learned name in his head to remember later. It was interesting to see the other say his like for his name. Especially so honestly like that. He found that Zeke was pretty open with a lot of things, including that of point to hit in fights. Soon they went into a run down looking building and were lead into a basement where a large group of people were with one sitting on a seat. "Ah! Welcome!" He threw his arms in the air and stood up. He pointed the two towards a spot in front of him and Zorin casually walked over and stood in the spot keeping his same expression. His mind was racing though as he thought of the best way to take out everyone here and get the two out safely. He kept a close eye on Zeke and had no care as the gang leader before him began to ramble on about things such a 'recruit, mercy, revenge' he honestly had no care to even hear never mind remember this persons words. He did care however on escape. He didn't seem to notice nore care when the leader suddenly punched him in the face. He didn't react but instead went back a step and kept himself from punching the other back.
