He smiled at her answer then stood and offered a hand to hold hers as she got out of her seat.” Alright then, let us start the date then” it was hard to say if this was his goal or not from the start.

Victoria grabbed his hand as he politely offered to help her up, she was truly curious at what Alistair had planned when it came to having a date with him. She smoothed out the wrinkles in her skirt as she stood up, after he helped her. "I look forward to it then." She said smiling, her nervousness from earlier seemingly gone.
-
Alistair led the way, though instead of heading to the exit of the castle he went deeper in. “ First for our date, we shall dine” he brought her to a large room with a long well decorated table. He pulled a seat out for her at the very end.
-
Although Victoria had been giving Alistair her full attention, she couldn't help but be amazed by the beauty of the castle. She snapped out if her daze as he pulled a seat out for her, before she sat she pulled out his seat, being part of her peculiar behavior. Her face flushed in embarrassment as she realized her silly actions. Her phone vibrated slightly as she sat down, her gaze flitted to the screen seeing it was from her parents. She smiled at Alistair, her inexperience being fairly obvious the longer she was in the castle.
(Sorry for it being so long)
-
(No need to apologize for something like that lol)
Alistair smiled at her before taking his own seat across from her. Soon after food was brought out and placed in front of them while the lighting dimmed slightly. The plate, bowls and cups were made with silver along with the spoons. Having some age due to have being used during the time when people tended to try and poison royalty often. “ Is their anything you particularly don’t like or are allergic to?”
-
(I apologize a lot. ^_^;)
She had glanced at her phone, seeing her parents had texted her twice wondering where in the world she was. Victoria locked eyes with Alistair before she answered his question. "I'm only allergic to fish, as silly as that may sound, also thanks." She said her previous embarrassment fading away slightly. She thought back to Alistair's actions back in the music room, and how his personality had completely changed. Victoria pulled her long brown hair into a pony-tail, to keep it out of the way. She wondered where the king and queen were, and wondered what they thought of having their son marry below his rank.
-
"Fish.." he made note of that and was glad that was not apart of this meal. The meal was more of a feast with the various options laid out. He did not start making his plate till he made note of what she put on her own plate then went to make his own. He did not eat much during the meal, watching her closely as he was trying to note what her favorites and least favorites were of the meal. His parents were currently out handling some political affairs and were a bit unsure of the marriage. They planned on meeting her soon and judging if she could even handle being the queen of a nation, or was good enough to even be the face of royalty.
-
Although she had been rather awkward in the beginning, she had enough etiquette to not be a complete moron. She was appreciative towards Alistair for inviting her to the castle, and she politely made this clear. "I hope I haven't given you a bad impression of myself, if so I apologize." Victoria expressed clearly, not wanting to seem rather improper. She quickly texted her parents telling them where she was, hoping they would understand. She turned her green eyes to the interior of the room, before focusing back on Alistair.

Bump?
-
Bump.

"Oh no, do not worry. It wasn't a bad impression at all" He assured her with a soft smile. He took a small sip of his drink, eyes watching her as he thought on what to ask her next. He was rather enjoying this little 'date'. Getting to know the one he was to marry was quite nice. As he ate he automatically kept his table manners. Automatically placing a napkin in his laps before grabbing a fork and getting ready to bring more food to his mouth.
After swallowing another bite, he looked to her with curious eyes. "What do you think of predetermined engagements?" he asked her curiously.
(Sorry! Had planned to reply earlier but forgot!!)

(I was surprised to see a notification from this, but you're alright. XD Sorry, I had thought you had lost interest. I'll try to remember the plot for my reply.)
-
(Its my own fault lol, i tend to get distracted by shows and ideas for new threads as well as school work so I tend to leave threads alone for awhile unintentionally. )
-
(It's fine. XD I'm sorry for bumping the thread so much.)
-
(No, its fine. They are actually why I realized I hadn't replied lol. So I don't mind even 100 bumps.
-
(Alright, glad I didn't end up spamming you by doing so. I'll try to respond later.)
-
(Okay~)
-
Victoria felt herself become a bit more comfortable, his response had helped her calm down. Though she wasn't interested in eating anything else, as it seemed to be impolite. She patiently waited for him to continue, genuinely curious on what he had to say. The only thing she did now was wait, other than drinking the tea that had been generously provided. Her gaze flitted back towards him, hoping that she wasn't ruining this little setup. He suddenly spoke up again, easily bringing back her attention.
Victoria raised an eyebrow as he questioned her about engagements. It took her a few moments to answer him, as it was difficult to come up with an immediate answer. "I feel that marriage shouldn't be forced, but I understand that this tradition is a requirement for some places." She said in reply, clearly not being a fan of such a thing.

Need me to shorten my post?

I'm weird for bumping this several months later.
