  • "Ah thats right..you don't know" Her parents seemed pretty gleeful and just seconds before did a little happy dance. The two grew silent a moment looking to each other in thought before at her. "Well....you see you are apart of a arranged marriage which your grandfather promised with the king a long time ago..."her mom said softy they were not sure how she would react to this. "The palace people came here earlier to let us know it is to be fulfilled." her dad said.

  • Victoria looked at her parents in disbelief, not believing what her parents were telling her. "So I was just promised to marry someone long before I was born." Victoria shook her head at her parents glee, likely them being happy she would be out of their house, and perhaps get riches from this. Her eyes were watering, a sign of her being hurt by them never telling her in her life. She walked out of the room quickly, not sure how to process it. Is that the only reason why Alistair had spoken to her?

  • Te parents had honestly not known and thought it a farce when they had read te grandfathers will. They felt a bit bad about it as they watched her eyes tear up and go off. Alistair has originally approached her due to the isolation around her at the time, but tomorow would be different.

The next day was a fairly beautiful day.

  • Victoria had gotten herself ready for school, cleaning herself up from the incident that morning. She hadn't meant to take out her anger on her parents, but she hadn't been thinking straight at the time. She put on her other school uniform, and she styled her hair to be wavy as it wasn't the day before. Victoria didn't own a car, so she usually walked to school. She didn't say anything to her parents, as she went out the door. She checked her phone, with even more threatening text messages.

  • Alistair has spoken to his parents that morning and now waited at the school gate. He ignored the stares as he checked the time, in wonder of when she would arrive. He wanted to take some time before classes to talk to her about the arrangement. Since his guess was not confirmed this morning when his mother showed him her photo.

  • Victoria was a few feet away from approaching the school's gate, she stiffened as she saw a couple people glaring at her. She rolled her eyes, not currently being in the mood to deal with certain things. She would want to try and apologize for her outburst later, as she typically kept her emotions under wraps.

  • When he saw her approaching the fate he gave a wave and walked over to where she was. “Hello...how are you this morning?” He asked her in a curious tone. This was different from his front with his ‘fans’ he was being fairly serious and interest though still kept the princely thing up.

  • "I'm honestly rather confused this morning." Victoria looked up at him, feeling the urge to question him. "Did you know about the engagement, or about the locket?" Victoria inquired feeling somewhat sorry for him. She felt embarrassed to even speak to him at the moment, but she needed to know. Victoria didn't expect that her grandfather was that close to the king that long ago.

    (Sorry if this is bad)

  • (It's not bad)

"Well..." he thought a moment on what to say. " For one, I knew I was engaged to someone but I didn't know it was you. I kind of made a small guess after you showed me your pendant yesterday though." He told her honestly well speaking in a soft voice. He didn't want the eyes on them to hear due to no one outside the two families knowing right now.

  • "Well, I'm sorry its me that you're stuck with in the future." Victoria said quietly, before she decided to head to class before a group of fangirls popping out of nowhere. Her pace was faster than normal , her thoughts scattered. She entered through the schools entrance, entering inside. She then proceeded to head to her music class, so she could get some time to herself. She pulled out her phone to check the time, it being earlier than she expected.

  • He wasn't upset at her being the one though he wondered if he gave off that type of vibe. He headed off to his own class though his mind was filled with her. At lunch he went and looked around for her. He wanted to talk and try to get things cleared up. It would be to much to go on like strangers anyway since they were to be married.

  • This time Victoria was sitting with a group of her friends, who were being rather silly. She seemed to be enjoying herself as she laughed along with them, she waved at them as they went to go out into town, she soon went quiet before getting up to get into the short line to pay for her food. She hadn't eaten anything that morning and was now catching up to her. She pulled out the last of her money for the week, and was ready to pay for it. She stared at the ground, before someone cut in front of her, shoving her out of the way in the process. A look of sadness lingered on her face for a moment as she lifted herself off of the ground, she was used to this sort of the thing from other people, usually girls, or the less common guy. She felt embarrassed at being engaged, as she hadn't even been in a relationship before.

  • The prince had a bit of trouble searching for her. So instead he decided to have a guard look around for her then secretly tail her. Then he went to where he found out her next class was and placed a note inside. It was asking to meet somewhere to discuss something. If miss read one would think it to be a confession of some sort. After doing this the prince went to eat in a empty classroom and play piano.

    (his piano playing sound like)

  • Victoria gave up on getting lunch, after getting shoved out of the way by the girl. She went to where her next class was, to her luck it was unlocked. She went inside, still trying to brush off the dirt off of her uniform. Her gaze shifted over to her desk, which appeared to have a note on it. The only person she could think it was from, was Alistair, the royal prince. She exited the room, walking down the hallway until she heard piano music, she opened the door slightly seeing Alistair playing the piano, which was absolutely beautiful. She hoped she wouldn't startle him as she leaned against the frame of the door.

  • He seemed pretty lost into the music. Playing the full song before pulling his hands away and resting his his hands at his side. He had sent the guards off and told them he would press a emergency buzz thing if he needed them. This is when he noticed her there and gave a small smile. He then stood up as he shoved his hands into his pockets. "How is your lunch going?"

  • "I decided not get lunch, getting shoved on the floor isn't fun." She laughed lightly as she said this. "What you were playing was beautiful, you truly have skill." She said awkwardly, as trying to make conversation with someone that she was going to married to in the future. Victoria was still troubled by the engagement, but she suddenly remembered the note. "Is therected something you needed to speak to me about?" Victoria politely asked, her face holding a very slight smile.

  • He felt a small frown threaten to tug at his lips. People were shoving her around, why? He hoped it wasn't because of his attention to her. He walked over to the door and looked up and down the hall before closing it. "Well...for what I wanted to talk about.." He pulled out his necklace and took out the ring. He then played with it between his fingers. "It is about the wedding. I have had lots of time to accept the concept of me marrying someone I don't know but you barely have had a day. Plus I am unsure you know but you can refuse it, your not going to be forced. Though i would prefer if you don't refuse it since..." he cut himself off as if unsure of speaking that part of his mind. "Anyway, I wanted to spend more time with you and see if we can work out. If you are worried about the other people I can solve that with just a few things"

  • Victoria walked forward a bit, her eyes glancing at the ring. While she may not be obviously in love, they could be friends. "I won't refuse, I just needed some to time to think about it." She said in response . "I wouldn't mind getting to know you, I just felt bad that you had to married to a complete stranger." Victoria said in response as she stared at the floor, twirling her brown hair around with her fingers. She shut herself up while casting a shy smile on her face.

  • "I understand, and you have no need to apologize. It was something expected due to me being apart of the royal family." He thought back to the whole, 'require heir' business. Though arranged marriages were rare these days, they still had some hope of working out. "As for what to talk about, why don't you tell me about yourself?"

  • "I'm not really that interesting, but I'd like to hear more about you first, Alistair."Victoria said in response, her gaze focused on him. She really didn't know a thing about him, other than him obviously being a charmer to some women, and being heir to the throne. She truly hoped that no one would find out about this just yet, especially Alistair's fan club.
