Their were many envious looks in her direction and she may have been approached by a few girls to have a little 'chat' if it were not for the prince being there still. He looked to her curiously then looked to her hands as she began to gather her things. He then reached out to lightly touch an item then looked over to her. "Please stay, I would rather enjoy your company for this lunch hour. But if you are uncomfortable, I understand if you wish to leave" He spoke in a soft, gentle and concerned tone. As if he had been wondering if he was not good enough for her company. The true case was, he wanted to talk to her more and figure out if that necklace was what he thought it was.

"I was just trying to get out of your way, since I didn't want to bother you." Victoria said in response, slightly doubting that he truly enjoyed speaking to her. There must be a reason he needs to speak to her, but her doubt falters slightly with his understanding attitude. She glanced at the looks others were giving her, but she decided to ignore them, as it would only make the reactions first. She sat back down, clearly wondering what it was that he may have needed from her. Her friend gave her a sympathetic look, the only one that wasn't boy crazy.
-
He felt the warmth of a faint joy seep in at her not leaving. He pulled his hand back from the item he had touched and continued to smile charmingly at her. "You are not a bother, if anything I feel the bother lays more with me" since he was aware of the stares more then anyone. He gave a glance to a tea pot and then over to her, he then offered her some tea. "It good for headaches and fatigue" He motioned his hand towards the tea pot before taking a small bite of an apple slice. He did not seem like the arrogant type despite how he was waited on. Now and then he would give a small smile to those around them, it less warm then when he smiled to her but all in all was fake as his usual day to day breaths.
-
She smiled back at Alistair, appreciating his attitude, even if it was an awkward situation. "Thank you for not minding then, and you're not a bother." Victoria said politely, everything she usually said was completely genuine. She accepted the offer of tea, carefully pouring a tiny bit of the tea. She didn't want to take too much from him, as it would seem rather grabby. She glanced at the clock once again, there was about 30 minutes left until the lunch period ended. She had hoped that this ridiculous charade of staring would end soon as it was making her rather uncomfortable, she took a small drink of tea, slightly embarrassed at taking some of it.
-
Alistair soon placed down his cup after figuring out what to converse about. He looked to her softly and gave a small nod towards the tea, “Do you like it?” He asked her in a curious tone. It was that of simple small talk for now, for today. With his mask fully on and no dent nore hole in his armor. He tuned out the other voices in the cafe, the stares continuing to burn. As he took a look around any one his eyes landed on would quickly look away with red cheeks. Another place to eat next time would truely be ideal if he wanted some peace without worry of the public eye.
-
"It's really good, thank you." Victoria said happily, never actually getting the chance to drink tea that often. "If I may ask you a question, where did you get that amulet?" She inquired, hoping that she wasn't being overly nosey. She glanced up at people in the lunch hall, seeing that there was about 15 minutes left until they were dismissed back to their classes. The prince was a surprise in her day, likely leading to some confrontational events tomorrow. It seems even in the 21st century, there were people who despised each other for simple interactions with another.
-
"Hmm? Oh my grandfather gave it to me. Why do you ask?" He looked to her curiously as he brought up a hand to finger the amulet before putting under his shirt. He then got up and put away the trash from his food. He smiled at a few people before returning to his seat. He set his hands in his lap and back was straight while he kept his eyes on her. When he had walked by her to get to the trash can the faint scent of mint and rose brushed by.
-
"It's just that it looks a lot like mine, my grandfather gave me mine as well." Victoria said kindly when Alistair came back to the table. She pulled out her necklace slightly, to show him the symbol on it. She wasn't trying to be overly bothersome, but she was a bit curious about the similarities between the accessories. Victoria turned her gaze off in the direction of her friends, who were somehow still paying attention. Victoria planned to leave the lunch hall a bit sooner than normal, so she could get to her class on time. She pulled her brown hair out of her face, feeling like she had been rambling for too long.
-
He leaned forward slightly to get a closer look. He observed it then thought for a moment, did hers open as well? It didn't seem to look like she knew of possibly being in an engagement. The amulet seemed legit though as they were two of a kind and a fake was not easily made. Especially since it was made from rare material. He was about to ask something when the bell rang and cut him off. "Ah...guess we better head off to class....I hope you enjoy your day." He stood and walked to her side. Then he took her head and brought it to his lips to kiss once again. He gave a sweet smile, a it genuine, before leaving with his three guards.
-
(Sorry if I'm making it boring.)
Victoria smiled at him, trying not blush again when he kissed her hand. "It was nice to meet you, and have a good day." She had truly enjoyed her conversation with him, but she wasn't looking forward to her next class, as there were likely a lot of girls who were fans of Alistair. She managed to get down the hallway to her next class, as it was in a way music class, but there was a choir involved as well, which she was a part of. She fiddled with her amulet, checking to make sure everything was alright with it. If she had to be honest, she had known that the amulet was capable of opening, but she had never looked at what was in it.
-
(Don't worry, you don't make it boring. Also is a time skip alright? for Next day?)
-
(It's fine. ^_^)

(Okay~ Oh also before we continue any questions or suggestions? Always feel free to ask them in if you ever have any)

Around 3 in the morning the two parents were running around the small house is search of something in a panic. A big mess filled the house as her father dumped things on the floor as he looked through and her mother searched through small cracks in the floor and wall. It was a rather interesting and ridiculous sight to see the two rushing about like this.
-
Victoria woke up to the sound of what she assumed to be parents running around the house. She threw a pillow at her bedroom door, not wanting to get up. She rolled off of her bed, landing lightly onto the floor. She was not a morning person at 3:A.M. She had her brown hair tied in a loose braid, she rubbed her eyes as she opened her bedroom door. "Mom, Dad? What are you guys doing?" She asked sounding exhausted, as she hadn't gotten much sleep.
-
"We have to find it! Or else..." it fell into a ramble as her father went off into another room. They had been visited by palace people and told of the engagement. But they would need the ring given to the grandfather for this day as their side of proof of the promise. They were at a total loss where it could be though. No one could have guessed it simply being inside the pendant.
-
"Are you looking for the pendant that Grandfather gave me?" Victoria shouted out in the house hoping to catch their attention. She leaned against the wall, before she bent down trying to clean up the mess her father had made with dumping everything out. She secretly wondered how the prince was doing, and wondering if their conversation was a one time thing. She ran after her parents, after she had grabbed her pendant from her dresser.
-
Her parents paused upon hearing this, then went back to work. "No, its a ring...." Though neither could recall ever a ring going out but did recall the pendant. At this they went over to her and examined it curiously. "Do you think?" they asked her to open it and inside was a ring with writing on the inside of it.
After school Alistair was busy at a appointment with a company to discuss something. Then after that he had martial arts lessons, then after that he needed to check out a new building. His scheduled was very packed to say at the very least. 3 am he was knocked out cold, hugging onto a pillow and hair standing up messily. The whole day his mind had been filled of her, so were his dreams.
-
Victoria looked puzzled at the fact of there being a ring inside of her pendant, her grandfather had told her never to open it until she was older. She tried to read the writing, buthe it was to small to see. "Why were you guys looking for a ring?" Victoria inquired, feeling her desire to go back to sleep increasing. She received a rather angry text message from an unknown number, but she was too tired to try and figure out who it was. Victoria didn't bother to tell her parents about her meeting with the prince.
