    - perceptive and peaceful, Gypsum leads with a show-don't-tell mentality. Wanting people who support his ideals to show they believe him with their actions rather than just tell him they believe him. He is surprisingly good at keeping calm in stressful situations, despite probably being a nervous wreck underneath. - he/him

    - chest gem

    - romantically involved with Gypsum

    - weapon: lance

    - telepathy

    - easy-going and friendly, Tourmaline is easy to get along with as he always seems interested in what someone has to say and doesn't fight against the flow of conversation. He is generally friendly to everyone unless they pose a threat to those he cares for then he can be cautious and hostile despite not really wanting to be. He is pretty optimistic compared to his partner, Gypsum, always thinking on the brightside so the mood doesn't always seem so dreary. Tourmaline can get very emotional, although his emotions seem a lot more intense when it comes to Gypsum or other gems he cares a lot for.

    - stimulates healing of the heart and produces loving consciousness, increases devotion and loving aspirations, stimulates creativity and intuition, protects you against negative entities, prevents, and clears negative spirit attachments

    - telepathic & motivation booster

    - most stable non-permafusion on the rebels side, a fusion that combines the best of both Gypsum's and Tourmaline's personalities. A sweet open-minded gem that loves everyone they meet. They are emotionally strong, always deciding to face their problems rather than run away and they are very perceptive, making them good at noticing the little things. This makes them good role-models and good strategists, however they tend to fall short on the physical aspects of things making them frail looking and kinda weak. They do decent in ranged or long-distance fighting with their glaive but work better leading from afar, giving instructions to those on the frontlines.

    - aura cleanser, maintain aura energy, provide a peaceful and tranquil state, purify and align auras, restores physical and mental vitality

Jade is firm, not changing her mind after she decides on something and takes a lot to cause her to turn away from doing something. She tends to be the go-to for others apart of the rebels for advice. She doesn't curse at all

  • Mkay! Let me start it!

Azurite shuffled nervoulsy as she looked to her Andesine companion. The speckled blue gem was worried. The two of them had been sent to help grow the quartzes, but now? There was a rebellion. The rebellion was growing closer and closer to their outpost, so close now that she feared that they would be targeted next. The caretaker gem had decided that she wouldn’t risk the chance of her or her friend being either poofed and eternally bubbled, or being sent to homeworld and being seperated, never to see each other again. Now they were leaving the kindergarten, not actually knowing where they were heading, just that they were abandoning everything behind. Of course little did they know that they were extraordinarily close to the rebel group.

  • Gypsum watched another noble homeworld gem be poofed and bubbled until later interrogation, the several noble gems on the colony were always bewildered when they realize that Gypsum was leading the rumored rebellion. It was partially because he is a frail gem, one that is easy to scratch and fall apart, but the main reason the nobles always seemed so surprise was because he, himself, was a noble gem. One that could have it all, his own ruby guards and his own pearl or tourmaline if he even wanted one. His diamond, White Diamond, even treated him with respect, even though he knew, she knew, he was far more insignificant than her.

It didn’t matter now, that life was behind him now.

“Gypsum, what are we gonna do now?” Imperial Jade asked, her four eyes focusing on the smaller rebellion leader.

“...Me, Tourmaline and Nadorite are searching the rest of the Kindergarten for new gems and others that might be able to operate the kindergarten. You and Kunzite can go meet up with some of the others and go look for any homeworld gems that we could have missed.” Gypsum instructed, motioning between him and Tourmaline and the perma-fusion Nadorite. He watched Jade nod to him before she picked up the smaller Kunzite gem into her arms and jumped off to find other rebel gems.

Gypsum re-summons his weapon from the gem on his chest, a fragile-looking curved sword (dao) and begins to lead the two other gems further into the kindergarten.

"So we're just gonna check to see if any new gems emerge and poof any homeworld gems?" Purple Tourmaline asks. "I want to try something a bit different, see if I, myself, can talk them into joining our cause and if not then we'll have no choice to fight." Gypsum responded.

"...Do they really deserve that..?" The soft spoken Nadorite asks, her voice a soft monotone that always sent shivers down Gypsum's spine.

"O-of course they do. Everyone deserves a chance to try something...different." Gypsum explained.

  • Azurite stalled as she heard the movings of gems, she could feel their auras, some agotated, some in a state of fear, some calm. She froze, already knowing what that meant, the rebels. Andesine noticed her companions stall and went back to her, taking Azurite’s hand.

Azzy? What’s weong? Is someone close?” The gruff sounding fem asked, her voice gently as she smoothed the back of Azurite’s hand.

It’s the rebels, their-they’re close. I-I think we stumbled upon they’re base.” The blue gem said softly. Andesine felt a shiver run down her back. They were bothe Era One gems, only just barely. Both in their respective last batches before the infamous Rose Quartz rebelled. They never saw the fighting, being to new and too valuable to waste, but they heard tales. They knew what rebelling meant, even if they were technically rebelling.

It’ll be fine, they have no reason to hurt ust Azzy.” Andesinse said, squeezing the other’s hand.

  • Gypsum brushed a hand along the walls of the Kindergarten as they searched for stray or homeworld gems, "..It's such a shame we destroy everything we touch." he murmured, before giving a deep sigh. The frail gem looked around upon hearing soft chatter, his pale grey-almost white eyes narrowing sharply. "Nadorite, there are gems here. Can you find them for me?" Gypsum calls out to the orange-yellow fusion, who was coaxing what looked like a Morion Quartz out of their hole.

"Of course." Gypsum, even from his distance, could see the orange glow that came from Nadorite's shielded eyes, but the glow disappeared as quickly as it came and Nadorite motioned up ahead. "...Homeworld gems up ahead, hiding." the gem responded. Gypsum made a move to go find the two hiding gems, but Tourmaline made a move before he was able.

"We know you're hiding. Please come out." The purple gem ordered, it almost sounded more like a warning rather than the gentle tone he was used to hearing from Tourmaline. Gypsum gripped the sword's hilt tighter, surprisingly nervous even after all this time. He wasn't fond of poofing other gems, but if they were too volatile or just couldn't be persuaded in that moment he knew it had to be done. Gypsum, light on his feet, walked to stand behind Purple Tourmaline wanting a clear look at the gems that hid; if they decided to reveal themselves.

  • As they heard the rebel gems grow closer, Andesine stood in a defensive stance, summoning her brass knuckle. She’d be damend if anything happened to Azzy. We know you’re hiding. Please come out. Azurite clutched Andesine’s free hand. The blue gem was so afraid, the voice sounded histile, and she could feel the waves of hostility rolling from at least one of the two gems before them.

We’ll be fine.” Andesine said before beginning to walk out, making sure she was in front of Azurite. Though Azurite was taller (only by about a head) the blue gem was hunched down, eyes darting rapidly back and forth as the walked out and took a stand before two gems. On Instinct Azuirte began letting out her calming aura, of course the only gem it didn’t work on was herself.

We’re out, what do you want.” Andesine said, her eyes narrowed at the two gems. One was a high class Gypsum, the other a fusion. Now don’t get her wrong, she didn’t care if two gens fused, but seeing a fusion so close, it was a bit warying.

  • Gypsum frowned at Tourmaline's hostility, he didn't like it but could understand it all the same. "We just want to talk..." Gypsum responded, although there was that unsaid butthat could be heard in the silence. The noble gem stared at the two homeworld gems, a tall blue one and a deep red one. Tourmaline wasn't too fond of it by the look on his face, but didn't protest speaking to them. Although something stopped him from continuing to speak as a holographic Serpentine pops up from one of the undestroyed communication devices in the Kindergarten.

"Can you hear me? Yesss? Then we, the Rebels, have taken over the communication post and all the other major posts in this colony. To any homeworld gems we have yet to discover, The Rebels are always open to be your home. We don't shatter, we don't judge and you can be whoever you wish to be. Of course if you rather be loyal to homeworld, it's understandable as they're the only thing you've known, but know we can't allow anyone to escape and tell the diamonds." The technician explained and then Gypsum realized that Serpentine was displaying this message all over this colony, to homeworld gems and rebels alike. Serpentine seemed to have said everything Gypsum wanted to even bother saying. Serpentine seemed to have made his job a lot easier than he expected.

"...Well he's not wrong..." Nadorite said blankly, although Gypsum could see a small smile on her face.

The post was edited 1 time, last by ASTRA . ().

  • The Rebels had taken over all major posts? Well that was surprising. Homeworld had said they barely had 2/5’s of the colony lost to rebel command. This was a shock to the duo, though it made sense. Why would homeworld want to let loose news of the rebellion thrashing them so thoroughly?

"We didn’t want to be sent back to home workd and seperated, we ran off." Azurite said.

"Yeah. We just want to stay together. Like hell if we’ll be separated." Andesine added, not moving from her defensive stance. Azurite put her hand on Andesine’s shoulder to calm her friend. They needed to be friendly with the new rulers of the colony, not hostile.

✧ —YOU FILL ME UP / EVEN WHEN I LOSE MY HEAD

  • Gypsum sighed and the curved blade he held disappeared, he could see Tourmaline and Nadorite both visibly relaxed then he realized that they were just as tense as he was. "I'm glad you decided to join us. We don't like watching gems be poofed, even though they'd eventually reform back..." Tourmaline said, losing his hostility when he spoke again. "We'll take you back to the communications post, it's where we said we'd regroup after taking over this colony. We'll introduce you to the group." Gypsum added in after Tourmaline, pointing to the tall gem structure that could be seen in the far distance.

(( Sorry, I've had a load of homework yesterday. I had to focus on that before I could respond ))

  • {That's fine! School before catsite rps.

They had never said they intended to join the rebellion, just that they had ran away. but the two were willing to roll with this, after all if the rebels did have the colonies then it was either them or homeworld, and the latter was unthinkable. So the duo followed the rebels back to the their base.

"If you have a kindergarten I can help any gems that are created." She said, she might as well make herself useful in this situation.

✧ —YOU FILL ME UP / EVEN WHEN I LOSE MY HEAD

  • "...Well this kindergarten still has quite a few Quartz gems that still need to emerge, so maybe you could watch over this one. ..From the data Serpentine was able to access it seems that several of them are late to emerge and so they were meant to be shattered. Of course it doesn't matter now since this is our colony." Nadorite said, the three eyes move to stare unblinkingly at the two newcomer gems. She didn't like the idea of new gems being shattered upon emergence, she found that cruel and irrational, but the Diamonds wanted a "perfect" society and defective gems didn't fit the mold.

A part of her was still weary of the red and blue gems, but didn't vocalize it despite knowing her feelings weren't irrational in any way. She'd just have to watch them for now. "...Well Hemimorphite and Kyanite are involved in watching over the Kindergartens, so I'm sure they can assign you to one of the kindergartens here. I know the Delta Kindergarten has been recently expanded for more water gems and then there's this one and then there's three other ones, one being a much smaller one due to lack of resources here." Gypsum explained.

  • The caretaker gem shifted softly, giving Gypsum a nod. She felt the most comfortable in Kindergartens, helping the fledgling gems learn hiw to control what they were given. She found it saddening that many Era 2 gems had so many amazing abilities stripped from them, like many non-fighting gems could not, or had extreme difficulty summoning a weapon unique to them. She was glad she was born an Era 1 gem, as was Andesine. Azurite reached her hand out and grabbed Andesine’s hand. The red gem took it and squeezed, giving Azurite reassurance.

"I have to ask, what era are you both? Me and Andesine are Era 1’s." She said. She figured she might as well know. If they were Era 1 it was highly probable they had been alive during the Rose Quatz rebellion. Perhaps that had been the initial inspiration. But if they were era 2? She highly doubted that the Gypsum would have any offensive capabilities, sad as it might be. The white gem was a socialite, not a fighter.

✧ —YOU FILL ME UP / EVEN WHEN I LOSE MY HEAD

  • Gypsum hesitated for a moment, "Right on the cusp of Era 1 into Era 2. When the Diamonds decided to limit resources, I and a myriad of nobles, quartz and others were trials. We still can summon weapons, if trained properly, and we can have powers, although most are without or have very weak ones. We can't shapeshift and most of came out on the frail side and are much easier to shatter due to the diamonds experimenting with what little resources gems could take but still could be efficient." He explained, hand going to brush against the white gem along his forehead. He wasn't made for fighting, but he did so to show other gems they could do it too if they tried. He gave up so much, but in return got so much.

"I'm an Era 1." Tourmaline responded. Gypsum felt Tourmaline brush against him, a subtle way of assurance, which caused Gypsum to give a small smile. Gypsum glanced to Nadorite, seeing if she'd answer Azurite's question, but it seems that the orange-yellow gem decided to stay quiet. Probably unsure what answer she should give.

  • "Ah. I haven’t met many gems that were on the cusp, as you said they shatter easy.." Her voice was saddened over this. Unfortunately for her she had watched a Cusp Era Gem be shattered. It completely an accident, a couple of Amethysts messing around, they weren’t aware one of their own was fragile, and with an shove that was just a bit to hard the amethyst cracked and shattered. It was the first and only time she had seen a gem shattered, and it was horrifying. For weeks she wondered if one push and she too would shatter. Azurite subconscious brought her right wrist close to her chest, deeling the theum of her gem’s artificial life assuring her she was okay.

"You train gems to fight? Me and Azzy don’t know a lick about fighting. Azzy herself could be incredibly useful with her Telekinesis." Andesine suddenly piped up from beside her partner. Andesine’s number one goal was to ensure that Azurite was safe. That’s all she cared about.

✧ —YOU FILL ME UP / EVEN WHEN I LOSE MY HEAD

  • "Yeah most of those gems by now have probably either been shattered, have some kind of armour that protects their gem or stay in nobility towers where they're assigned to be a servant or work there." Gypsum informed. His rebels had recruited some of those cusp era gems not too long ago, they were put on technical duty with the Serpentine to check data logs and Kindergarten emergence until they could train the gems properly in protecting their gem and fight as well.

"We do indeed train gems, we have three gems in charge of that. Although the fusion in charge of certain training regimens isn't...really stable and can go a bit overboard. So we have to have another fusion there who can nullify and separate them." Tourmaline revealed with a weak smile. "Well I'm sure we can put her in one of the long-distance or ranged groups that fight, after she goes through some self-defense training." Gypsum responded to Andesine's mentioning of Azurite's powers.

  • "Fusion? Forgive my ignorance. I understand that some gems use it to get stronger, but it seems here fusion is not necessarily for that. Or at least multi-gem fusion is acceptable. If this is intrusive I’m sorry." Azurite said. She just wanted to know everything she could. That and well, she wondered if she and Andesine would one day fuse. Azurite hated to admit it, but she had feelings for her red gem companion, feeling that would get her shattered and her minerals reused to create a more perfect Azurite. She was glad that she was here with Andesine, it felt that everything would be all right while with Andesine.

"Also my telekinesis only works on about three or four gems at a time. I was only ever designed to hold back the quartz soliders while a more capable Gem did the dirtier work. That and my personal weapon is a dagger. Azurites also have the ability to emit a calming aura, usually placating gems." She said, might as well give them all the information she could about herself. No turning back now

✧ —YOU FILL ME UP / EVEN WHEN I LOSE MY HEAD

  • "Fusion isn't necessarily used for power or strength in battle, although some do work much better on the battlefield, but most fusions or rather perma-fusions are made from love of some kind. And yeah multi-gem fusion is allowed, although some of the newer gems that have swapped sides haven't entirely got used to the concept but they are trying." Gypsum responded. "There are two gems that are in charge of teaching others how fusion works since era 2 gems have a harder time naturally fusing with others outside of their own kind and other gems need to understand the pros and cons to fusing." He continued on, sending a look to Nadorite who seemed to be focused on getting to the communication tower.

"Fusing is how me and Gypsum escaped from being caught in the very beginning of the rebellion. And even though our form isn't the best for battles it was able to hold off the quartz gems sent after us for a while." Tourmaline added with a proud grin. "...He's cool." Nadorite murmured softly. Gypsum couldn't say their fusion, Angel Aura, was cool like Nadorite thought, but he was fun to be occasionally.

  • Azurite nodded softly. So if she fused withe Andesine, she wouldn't be outright hated for it. That was a relief. not that Andesine would fuse with her, but the option in case of an emergency was nice to have. of course in the end it was all if Andesine was willing. She knew that everyone involved with fusion had to be a willing participation.

Azzy shook her head softly and derailed her train of thought. Now was not the time. So instead Azurite thought about the Rebels and how they seemed so accepting of gems who had just turned away from Home World. Sure they were cautious but they were letting anyone and everyone join them. Surely some homeworld gem might be doing this just to spy on the rebels.... Azurite frowned and tried to placate that thought. Though possible she doubted that was the case. After all the rebels were great in number and a traitor could be weeded out quickly, right?

{Timeskip to when Azzy and Andesine are a bit more accustomed to the rebels and vice versa? Maybe HW sends a battalion of gems to try and deal with the rebels and the base gets ambushed?

    "Azurite"

    "Andesine"
