Ash picked a nearby table and set EJ's bowl down across from his own and gave EJ the chopsticks, the ramen had an egg and some ham on top while having carrots, celery and actual chicken in with the noodles

EJ smiled, he knew how to use chopsticks, unlike some others, so that wasn't a problem. "Damn. I have severely underestimated the power of ramen," he remarked with a slight chuckle.
-
Ashton nodded with a smile, noodles hanging from his mouth before he bit them off and swallowed, "Yeah, I said the same thing." He giggled softly, he looked adorable bathed in the light of the sign for the kiosk
-
EJ took a moment to study the scene before him, but blushed as he realized he head been staring at Ashton for too long. He cleared his throat and mumbled a quick sorry before he went back to eating, careful to avoid spacing out now.
-
Ash gave a soft chuckle before he startes eating, he was really enjoying the flavors and texture of the food. Afterward he paid for both of them and walked back with EJ having a soft smile on his face
-
EJ walked back in silence, feeling rather awkward about himself, because Ashton truly was too adorable not to look at. He didn't mind the darkness, in fact it calmed him, but the air was cold around EJ himself seemed cold and distancing.
-
"I'll see you later." Ash smiled a little before he broke away, but not after giving EJ a small hug, and went home to get sleep
-
EJ smiled slightly underneath the mask, chuckling. "He's a nice kid," he said. He shook his head and walked away, not particularly happy, but someone had knocked down the walls he had around himself, so that was new.
-
Ash saw EJ the next day and sat by him, he had been able to sleep well at least so the was good. Ashton's hair was up in a clip, hands covered via fingerless gloves and a hoodie on as he sat next to EJ
-
EJ on the other hand looked like he hadn't slept at all. He was doodling different shapes, which eventually would link up to become one continuous line segment if he went on long enough.
-
Ash looked at him curiously and wanted to ask but was afraid to say something wrong. Then, just decided to ask, "Insomnia?" He asked quietly
-
EJ nodded, not looking up, his pencil movements becoming loosed and more fluid at the familiar voice.
-
"I get that sometimes." He sighed softly and rubbed his arm, he actually had a remedy for insomnia, but he didnt know if EJ would even consider it
-
//ack I cannot type today ;-;
EJ spoke, his voice soft, "Insomnia is a bitch."
-
Ash nodded, "I agree. Especially when you have to train the next day." He sighed softly, he started drawing something without lifting his pencil, the picture just one line
-
"Train for what?" He asked, looking up from his paper for once.
-
"Oh, I've been drafted, so I have to train every now and again for a bit." He shrugged softly with a sigh, "To be honest this draft is stupid as hell." He muttered quietly
-
EJ seemed to choke on nothing for a moment. "What?! Damn, did I fall hard this time, and disaster it is," he mumbled under his breathe. The boy turned back to Ashton, "Why didn't you tell me? You would figure this was important information."
-
"Because whenever I tell someone they always abandon me no matter how close we were!" Ash whispered and a look flashed in his eyes that was a deep pain, "I.....Just wanted someone who wouldn't leave me behind for once...I know its selfish.." He mumbled, the look gone and a sadness in his tone as he looked to the table
-
EJ sighed, "It's because we're all selfish. They don't want the grief of having to lose you because of one reason or another, but you need human companionship. It's a rather horrible circle," he explained, his voice cracking.
