Riley Wyn, in no means was a very popular person within the clan or outside. She had joined the clan at a young age along side her father who had passed away shortly after in account of saving her life. and since the accident she had reserved herself. She hated recalling the incident but it was a story that came frequent to her dreams, taunting her about it. It was never about her mother or siblings, they no longer had a place in her heart but her fathers death had impacted her, greatly.

She had once been care free, more so adventurous and desperate to rebel against her father, in good terms of course. She was a mess, getting in everyone's way, a cub desperate for attention, now not wanting any. Her father had died saving her after her antics. The cub had roamed out of the territory, just plain curios of what lay outside, she hadn't been out for so long at this point. It hadn't been long before trouble had found it's way to riley or more so she found trouble. Another big cat, desperate for food made it's way out of the shadows, there was not going to be hesitance in eating her. But her father had burst out from behind her, yelling at the female to run and run she did but oh how she regretted. She had waited at their hut for some time before news had come back that her father had died. It destroyed her. Her antics stopped, her troublesome nature had changed completely. Two years later and she still wasn't used to it.

She sat silently on the porch of her hut, since moving from her fathers to hers own, memories she didn't want to relive there. She yawned silently, optics watching closely as the sun dipped it's head under the horizon, blanketing the land in darkness. She shifted slightly, her eyes adjusting to the darkness.

/sort of rushed whoops. have friends coming over in an hour and gotta clean the house. "speech."

  • ★ ★ ★ Sylvia Tymplest had lost her family as well. Her sister was dead and she never knew her parents - if she even had any. As far as her memory could recall she was born at the end of fall, alone with the first frost to remind her of her abandonment. Lacking was the comfort and warmth a child needed. She discovered her sister , Raine, shortly after - a kitten left to die in the snow. Sylvia took her under her wing, only being a month older, the responsibility of it like a weight poised to crush her.

Not that it mattered. Raine died anyway.

Sylvia noticed the presence of someone unfamiliar sitting on the porch of a hut she assumed abandoned. The blind feline could tell they were no intruder by scent, but that just peaked her curiosity further. "Hello," she greeted, walking up to the stranger. She bore a smile, her bubbles gliding through the air around her. "Are you new here?" She rarely visited the border so new members were often lost on her.

startled by the voice she turned quickly, only to ease her own tension upon noticing it was just another clan mate within skyclan. She shook her head, she of course wasn't surprised the other hadn't noticed her before, she did keep a relative distance from any others. "i've been here since i was cub if you count that as being new" she stated, a bit of humour playing at the girls words. "I'm not real big on initiating conversation so very few people know me within the clan" She added, hoping to clear herself up a bit more.

  • ★ ★ ★ Sylvia felt a flush of embrassment and let out a nervous laugh. Since they were a cub? Well, that's about as far as assumptions take you. "Well, I'm still sorry for not noticing you before... My name is Sylvia Tymplest by the way," she said. "And what's your name?" And here she thought she knew basically everyone in the clan.

  • ROYALGUARD

His attention was caught when he heard Sylvia ask if they were new here and he turned his head, curiosity entering his expression. An unfamiliar face certainly must mean a new member. He began to trot towards the two females when he heard the female's answer. Not new; been here since she was a cub. The friendly smile that was forming on his face faltered for a moment. Oh no, this girl's been here since she was a cub and he was just meeting her? His pace became quicker.

He's the leader; he needs to know everyone in the Clan! Yikes. He didn't like the saying "better late than never" all that much, but he guessed it had to apply for this moment. How embarrassing for him. The tiger kept his friendly smile though, and nodded in hello to Sylvia. "Greetings, my name is Royalguard." He introduced, his usually confident stance a bit timid now, clear from his shuffling paws. "I'm, uh, the leader here. I'm sorry we never met before now," his apology was kind and genuine, the guilt practically radiating from him.

Her gaze was quick to shift to the approaching tiger, a small smirk still present on the females lips as he spoke. "i do indeed know who the leader is, but apologies aren't needed i never let my presence be known"She stated, smirk still present despite the somewhat sad topic of not knowing her.
