  • I'm feeling for mischievous youngsters

Ic: hey, sorry I'm running late. That meeting lasted longer than I thought it would Gladion texted. He was supposed to be meeting up with Hau for a malasada date, but got held up at Aether

  • Hau skimmed over Gladion's text before quickly typing up a response, having been waiting for a good while. He actually didn't mind however and was very understanding of Gladion's situation, soon sending a text back that read:

Don't sweat it, can't wait to see you!

Afterwards, he pocketed his cell before looking around, might as well walk while he waited for Gladion. He didn't have plans to stray too far from the Malasada Shop, instead walking back down the stretch of road that led towards it.

  • Meanwhile occupying the same general space was a small group of tourists leaving the malasada shop. One girl looked over, spotting Hau from a distance. "Wow, look at him" she gossiped to her friends.

"See! I told you Alolan guys were hot!"

    "I never said they weren't"

"Go ahead! He's coming right here, talk to him!"

  • Hau didn't even seem to notice the group of girls, planning to just sit down on a bench outside of the shop while he waited for Gladion, almost walking right pass them when he was close enough.

  • Hau blinked a few times when he heard someone call towards him, soon recognizing the source to be a girl amongst a group of friends. He blinked a few times as he watched her try and do the Alolan greet, being rather awkward with her execution of it. However, Hau being the friendly guy that he was, had no problem with stopping to chat for a little; he was waiting after all. "Alola!" He greeted back, doing the same gesture, but with more ease.

  • Hau, in turn, introduced himself to the girl before listening to what she had to say. They just needed directions? Okay, he could definitely help with that. "Sure, where to?" He asked Janna.

  • "Your heart~" she said sweetly, the bikini clad girl leaning towards Hau as she fluttered her lashes

    ...smooth. Very smooth.

Ooc: I just pulled both her name and this dumb pick up line out of my ass

  • Janna's friends giggled a little. "You know, I was thinking that maybe you'd wanna, you know, come to my hotel room; maybe have a little fun~" she suggested, wiggling her eyebrows a little. Gawd I am cringing I would be fucking terrible at flirting.

Conveniently, Gladion just happened to be running down the street. "HAU!" He called to his boyfriend, panting upon arrival. "*pant pant*, s-sorry im late"

  • Hau did not like what this girl was suggesting, and it clearly showed on his face. With a furrowed brow and slight frown, Hau just backed up all the way towards Gladion before moving to hide behind him, wrapping his arms around the other as he hid. He didn't even explain what was happening to Gladion, though he did peek over his shoulder to look at the girls again. "Sorry, but no thank you" He declined, "I got my dreamboat right here." Emphasizing this by giving Gladion a squeeze and an affectionate nuzzle.

  • Gladion looked confused at first, but quickly connected the dots. He nuzzled back the best he could, playing along.

The look on Janna's face was priceless! All her friends just broke down laughing at her expense.

  • The moral of the story: if you're looking for a one night stand, just go to a bar. Don't flirt with random strangers you met on the street

Needless to say, everyone got a good laugh out of this
