  • ★ ★ ★ God, Beechpaw's sisters were needy. Though they held a special place in his heart, reserved for only those closest to him, they still irritated him. The only difference between them and the others were that he would protect them if he had to- the tom wished no harm upon his family. They were his responsibility, and one he didn't take lightly.

Leading Yewpaw and Poplarpaw through the forest, weaving between trees until they came to the Thunderpath, Beechpaw was careful not to let them out of his sight. He was their protecter, the only ones he cared about in the whole world. He actually cared about if they would die or not, and he certainly wasn't about to let either die to a monster on asphalt.

Though they had never been here before, Beechpaw had heard of the tunnel beneath the road, providing safe passage across to the Thunderclan border. It wasn't hard to find- the thing reeked of mold and decay. But Yew and Poplar had wanted to see their brother, and so he was determined to get them to him. It had been moons since he had seen Alderpaw, anyways, so it seemed to be a win-win situation.

"Come on." The boy hissed, slinking into the sewer pipe and emerging shortly after on the other side. A huge forest loomed before them- Thunderclan. Beechpaw couldn't help but grin. He had succeeded...thank god. "Alderpaw? Alder?"

yewpaw trailed closely behind her brother, the darkness of the forest before her didn't seem like much of an issue with his bright white tail tip that constantly seemed to be in her face. it was hard to keep up with him and poplar at times, considering the fact that she be scared shitless if she stepped on anything. which she has. multiple times. her eyes widened as they came upon the thunderpath. it was massive, and even though it was silent she felt like if she made one step on it that she could get killed. the little apprentice made sure to speed up through the tunnel that lead under the tunderpath, personally terrified of it dropping on top of her. "this feels like it's taking years" she whined, stopping to a halt beside him and looking around. so this was the border? it certainly smelled disgusting, that was for sure. in fact, everything they'd came to so far smelled nasty, the thunderpath, the tunnel, even thunderclan's forest smelled odd. her dark amber gaze stared into the forest, and she quickly became startled by how big and dark it was. everything seemed so quiet there, like the trees were waiting to ambush somebody. she shivered and scooted back behind beechpaw, waiting quietly for the arrival of her other sibling.

It felt like it took moons for the whole entirety of the Thunderclan camp to settle down for the night. It left Alderpaw all the more anxious for the moon to rise. Pretending to be asleep, he listened to the rustles of the warriors den as it sheltered the last of the warriors going to bed for the night. He felt his muscles relax. Finally, every cat but those on guard have gone to bed. He thought quietly to himself, rising to his paws. Now, he got to meet up with his siblings from Shadowclan, something he did behind the Thunderclanner cats' backs. Not that he cared.

Tip toeing his way over the other apprentices, he carefully made his way out of the apprentice den and towards the dirtplace. He'd have to sneak out this way, since two warriors seemed to be keeping watch on both the camp and the forest territory. With a heaved sigh of relief, Alderpaw managed to sneak out without anyone noticing; but could he sneak back in? He'd have to find out later. Now was the time to meet up with his brother and sister.

Quickly sprinting through the trees, he made his way towards the tunnel that led under the thunderpath-- the place the four decided to meet at every chance they could. Blood pounded in the dark brown tabby's ears, and his dual colored eyes seemed to glance everywhere in search of patrols that might be out, be he doubted any cat would be on a patrol at moonhigh.

Breaking free of the undergrowth, Alderpaw almost crashed noses with Yewpaw, but skidded to a stop just in time. Blinking, he let his eyes grow used to the moonlight shining on her white fur, before purring. "Yewpaw! Beechpaw!" He mewed in excitement. He hadn't seen his siblings in forever. And it seemed to be getting extremely lonely in Thunderclan. He hated it. "I've missed you guys. Where is Pop? Did she stay behind?" He asked in a hushed, yet happy and excited voice. He couldn't contain himself.

    Alderpaw really missed his family.

[ tbh alderpaw is going to have an undying hatred for their parents; especially their mother because she kept only him and let their father take the others. ]

Pop had followed closely behind Beechpaw in excitement. Her steps were light and bouncy and she stayed very close to the others. That was until her attention caught an unusual looking leaf and she peeled off from her brother and sister. The thought that she was alone and probably an easy target did not pass through the dainty female's mind. All she was thinking about was how the leaf looked kind of like a squirrel. She opened her mouth to say something to her siblings before she realized they were out of sight. Uh oh. She muttered before using her nose to scent them again and get back on their trail. She would never hear the end of it from Beechpaw if she got lost and hurt, or died. She quickly caught up with the others to see them sitting down with Alderpaw. Her eyes lit up in excitement and she picked up the pace as she heard her name. Nope! She's right here. She said in her bubbly voice in a reply to her thunderclan dwelling brother.
