The female sighed as she made her way over to the amber because she had a job to do. Her black glowing claws into the wood as she forced herself to straighten up and look like she was okay. No, no, she was okay because there was nothing wrong and she took in a deep breath as she sat down. But really she was feeling a bit regretful about how she had treated Yuu and her mind wandered a bit before she focused herself. "Shadowclan! Gather for some weekly tasks. I think this will be fun."

sekhmet wasn't alone; there was something a little wrong with luca too. he was off in a different way though, fidgeting with his claws off to the side of camp. he was picking dirt and dried viscera from the smooth pick surface, but got a little close to the sheath on more than one occasion and the places where his claws met his paws were rimmed with sparking beads of blood. sekmet's voice was a welcome distraction, and luca looking up from his paws with relief. finally he'd have something easy to do instead of planning over and over again but getting nowhere. "i'll have a task," he spoke slowly for fear of stuttering, but instead came off as high or sleepy, or some mix of the two. he sighed and gave his head a vigorous shake, adding a quicker "please," to the end to make himself seem less out of it.

Oh, boy. It'd been awhile since she had last done a task; or really, anything that contributed to much. She hadn't even attended the past couple of meetings, nor had she really been doing much outside of maybe greeting one or two joiners. But she wasn't going to turn down the opportunity to do something. The munchkin trotted over to the scene, giving Sekhmet a cheerful smile. "Could I have one, please?" Technically, she was required to give her a task; but still, it was best to be polite.

It seemed Kairos always found a way to be near Sekhmet, without even intending to. His ever watchful gaze eyed the femme, listening as she spoke. "I'll take a task, Sekhmet." his gravelly voice traveled from where he stood closer to the back, intrigued to know what kind of task she had in mind for him.

hearing the call of the very familiar voice of sekmet, the male's ears perked up and he turned his head in that direction. well, jazzy decided that he might as well hop onto the bandwagon this week. the brown tabby male got up from his spot in the shade and made his way up next to a few others to receive his weekly task, or ask for one at least. man, this was such a good idea, and he wondered why he didn't think of it years ago. "can i get one?" he inquired cheerfully, before taking a seat and waiting for a response.

Her eyes shifted then to look at Luca since he was the first one to come up. Her mind shifted gears to giving out tasks and she breathed out soft breath before debating on what to give him. It shouldn't be hard and she felt her eyes wandering away from the leader before she finally spoke up. "Luca, go and prank an enemy and I'm not talking about some lovely nice prank. I want a mean one, make it hurt, hon." Then her eyes shifted toward the next to arrive, Sugarpop. Her eyes scanned over the female before she gave a half smile, one that didn't seem so tense but still it hardly seemed genuine at all. "Sugarpop, I'd like for you to give a lesson on halloween and why it is a thing." Next up was Kairos and her eyes lingered on him. He'd been more help in these days than most anyone else had for her and she was grateful to have him here but she pushed ahead. "Kairos, I'd like for you to hold some time of strategic training, anyway you like, anyway you want it. And as for you Jazzy, how about you take some of our clanmates trick or treating around the clans, should be fun for them to get out and about."

TAKE IT ON THE OTHERSIDE — Weekly tasks? Well, it seemed to him that this was an average thing to take part in while living in a clan, and if anything it promoted his activity here. It kept him connected to people and to the clan. It kept him grounded, and that would be nice. "I'll take one." He called out as he paced forward and took a seat, glowing orange oculars tracing those around him.

★ tags ★ Ah, weekly tasks. Calina was a little late, coming in after Sekhmet had given out her first batch of tasks, but she strode over nonetheless. The nightwatcher sat down nearby and gave a nod to Sekhmet. "Hit me with a task, yeah?" She said, and then fell silent. So far, she had given out some good ones; do a prank, host a lesson on Halloween, do some training, go trick-or-treating. It made Calina wonder what was in store for her.

「Every weakness exposes flesh — and flesh invites a knife.」 He'd listened intently before deciding to speak up, something very much at odds with his impetuous, reckless nature. Still, it was rare for him to see any sort of group formed--seemingly--on true friendship alone, not simply as a way to gain power with its members eventually turning on each other. It was all very odd to the valravn, and he thought it best to follow the norm until he had a better grasp of how things worked around here, much as he chafed under conformity. At last, though, he stepped up, eyes glinting with something unreadable. "I'll take a task," he said bluntly, every word quick and sharp. He figured that this was a good way to start getting known around here, even if the task assigned to him would seem a bit idiotic. Who cared about children's games when there was power to be gained?
"speech."
