  • "Well...If you're interested." Paige took a sip from her water, first. Before going into her story. Well, snippets at least. There were a few things she was going to leave out.

"I'm living with some relatives right now. An aunt and uncle, sort of. My aunt's the most amazing woman. Sweetest thing you'll ever meet. My uncle...He's more 'annoying' than 'awful.' Fine mix of both. I actually stole his truck once."

  • ★ ★ ★ Minny raised a brow, amused smile plastered all over her face. "Ah. Ain't that interesting? I never pegged you as the truck thief type." She chuckled, gently wrapping an arm around Paige. "That's pretty cool, though. Much better than my odd origin story." It was clear she wanted to talk about herself, even if Paige was a near stranger. Obviously, Minny wasn't gonna tell her the entire truth about her life (considering that would cover, what, four hundred years?)- just the fun, juicy bits.

UNDER OATH BUT I WOULD LIE FOR YOU

  • "What about you? Any juicier stories about your life?"

Who was Paige kidding? Of course there would be juicy stories from Minny. The girl was just as much of a legend as her. She watched her couch companion intently. Still holding her cup of water. Wow...Paige didn't want to say anything, but...The other girl's skin was cold.

  • ★ ★ ★ Minny smirked. "Mine's more tiring than anything... I was on the streets for a while. I used to live in France too, I can even speak a bit of it. But then," A pause, this time for Minny to decide on what she should tell her next. "I ran off from my family. They were douchebags, so I stole as much money as much money as I could fit in my pockets, bought a one way ticket to America, and here I've stayed. I only recently made enough money to even buy this stupid house." She was still smiling though, so obviously, her past didn't bother her as much as it should have. Though, maybe it was only because she'd had five hundred or so years to deal with her demons?

UNDER OATH BUT I WOULD LIE FOR YOU

  • Though faintly, their two stories were similar: Dealing with obnoxious relatives. Although a crabby uncle wasn't as bad as family members who forced you to another continent. "We've stuck it to 'em!" Paige cheered out of nowhere. Wielding her water glass like it was a toast.
