  • Paige gulped down water like she was dying. And at this point, she felt like she was. Once hydrated, the blonde took several deep, yet quick breathes to calm herself. Okay...Okay..."A girl. A girl grabbed me by my throat. She...She looks...Almost like me." A good start to a likely-going-to-be-rejected confession.

"Her mouth...Oh, god. Her mouth's a mess. Looks like...Looks like it's been mangled."

  • Though Rose had always been a skeptic of many things throughout her young life, her best friend's fear hit her hard. It wasn't just the terror in her eyes that helped; it was the red hand - like prints on Paige's throat. The girl can't help but put a hand over her own mouth at the comment. ❛ dude! wh - what the hell's going on?! do we tell someone?! ❜ Of course, neither of them had encountered such a situation. Rose had heard plenty of scary stories by a camp fire - but nothing like this.

  • "I-I don't know. It just started out of the blue." Paige honestly had no idea. Before: She slept easily minus the once-in-a-blue-moon nightmare. This whole ordeal started out of nowhere. Nowhere except...That one night she stayed out. During a visit to her old hometown.

Tell someone? "I'm going to a doctor's appointment. M-Maybe they can help." Or they'd just give her medicine and call it a night.

  • Rose frowns worriedly, reaching up to protectively smooth back her friend's messy bangs. ❛ god, I hope they can help, dude. ❜ She mumbles, once again leading them off through the park, (specifically towards the freshly opened snack shack). let's get your mind off it! let me buy you some nachos!Though they were one of the girl's favourite snacks, even Rose knew it wouldn't do too much. At the least, food was a good distraction.

  • "...Yes, please." Freaking out and almost dying of shock did leave her pretty hungry. Paige messed with the red marks on her neck. Yeah, yeah; Don't pick or it won't heal right. Look: All she wanted was nachos right now. She deserved them for what happened.

  • Rose finally offers her a warm smile, bouding up to the shacl in question and ordering them a platter of nachos to share. Oh, and don't forget the extra cheese. Paige indeed deserved it. ❛ here, girl. you get first bite, huh? ❜She attempts to cheer her up, wiggling the plastic container. First, Paige's uncle being an arse. Now, some sort of... attack? Rose wasn't sure what to make of it all, besides the fact that Paige was in need of a well deserved nap. And nachos.

  • Unusually quiet, Paige reached a slightly shaking hand towards the container. With great difficulty, she managed to eat her first bite. The blonde was still beyond rattled. And no amount of trying was going to get her to calm down fast enough.

  • Rose knows words won't encourage her friend much. Instead, she stays silent originally, pushing the entire container into the other girl's hands. She does offer another soft smile, a hand resting ever so gently on her back while leading the pair off to one of the nearby benches. make sure those nachos are yummy, eh?

  • Paige must've really broken down at the moment. As she made more valiant attempts to eat her nachos, she shivered. Occasionally glancing over her shoulder in fear something would get her. Smash the cheesy chips into her face
