♥ Blinking awake from a short nap upon the throne, Commander Arcanium stretched his pink-clawed paws over the edge of the seat as his sight adjusted to the light. He was growing used to it again, the blessing of feeling the warm rays of the sun on his fur once more, and see how they lit not only the day, but the night. He hadn't seen the sun set even once since their victory on the battlefield, and while he was sure that it was a sign that their patron god was proud of them, he couldn't help but feel as if it was all too good to be true. Blame it on his paranoia, if you must, but his gut had never been wrong, and the feeling that something was coming was still tingling in the pit of his stomach. Whatever it was, thought the catsune as he lifted himself into a sitting position, he wouldn't let it take this strength away from his clan-mates. He would give his life if he had to, but for now, he had the meeting to worry about. "Assemble for a meeting!" He called out finally, adjusting his weight as the others gathered at the bottom of the steps.
"Our upcoming events for this week are the Trick or Treat Marketplace, Bonfire Stories, and a Zombie Wound Treatment Class. We've also been invited to a blind dating event with the Thunderlands, and a Halloween Feast in Westeros. I'm still looking for someone to hold the OOC Prompts for this week, but other than that, you're welcomed to check out our October Event Calendar if you'd like to contribute to our clan events." He lifted his paw to point at the table to the right of the throne, where all of the event sign ups were located, stressing this point more than he usually did. Lots of slots were still open, and while he would usually take the ones no one else did, he had many things still to plan for next week's main event. Returning his paw to the marble seat beneath him, the vampire continued, "We have recently finalized an alliance with HawkClan, and while they are an anti-clan, I believe that having them on our side is beneficial to us at the moment, so we'll see how it goes. They are in need of an Ambassador, so anyone interested in the job, please speak up now or sign up later. In other news, Irene has been returned to us, but Eden is still in BloodClan's paws. Levi, I'm putting you in charge of her rescue raid." And with that, his words came to a pause, waiting for more clan-mates to show up before giving any rank announcements.

・゚ ✦ ° TAGS - Arriving to the meeting with an apathetic expression, the kitsune had been slightly annoyed at the fact that the meeting had interrupted the kitsune mid-drop staining chromosomes from various plant samples. The call had startled the kitsune, causing them to loose the grip on their staining materials and ended up staining one splotch of fur on the kitsune's chest. Purple. It was as odd-looking as it sounded.
Staring up to Suga's looming form, the kitsune put their mind off what had just happened by listening intently to all the commander had to say, the mention of captures really capturing Angeldust's attention. The kitsune had been even more pleased to hear it in words - that Irene had been found, brought back, but Eden was still missing. The longer that the princess was gone, the better Angeldust felt. It was like a break from the constant paranoia that your whole world was going to come crashing down. Who wouldn't want Eden to be eternally missing if you were in that position?
Promotions and demotions hadn't yet to be announced, but Ang waited eagerly. The stepping down of Robin had been sudden and slightly heartbreaking for Angeldust (even though Ang hadn't the ability to form a proper friendship with Robin, the female had been an excellent Flame Regent), so the news would have to be broken to the rest of the clan.

Ironempire Illuvatar strode around the clan's camp without a care in the world. Although she had been alone for a long time, away from her brother Barei, she was somewhat glad to be back. Sure, there was a certain charm to being lone-wolf, but this wasn't half bad. Not too shabby. The sound of cats up ahead caused her ears to rotate and listen in. Although Iron often found herself with terrible bouts of wanderlust, she was getting used to Sunclan. She was content. Tilting her harsh yellow optics towards the crowd, she heaved a sigh. Being social was still something she would have to get more used to. With the lack of sunlight, her gleaming iron and white pelt was a little more dull than usual, but still thick and fluffy. Admittedly, it did help to make her look even bigger than she already was. Ironempire's gaze danced upon the various cats and she swiveled her cranium from one to the other, as though watching a tennis match.
The vixen got to her feet, proving her intimidatingly large frame. With athletic, long legs she quickly covered the distance between them and made sure to emphasize every rippling muscle with her stride.
Her maw still a bit blood-stained from a recent hunt and kill, Iron slung a side-ways smile at the gathering troupe. But her luminaries gleamed with bloodlust. Hawkclan? Fucking, really?Weak. Spineless little shits. For Helios' sake, Sunclan could do better than this in gathering allies, couldn't it?

corroding iron eyes — dented titanium demise leviathan had been more anxious as of late due to the capture of his beloved sister, fearing everyday that she wouldn't be safe in a clan filled with killers that contained a leader that was basically a baby murderer due to primerys. the solemn vampire was not aware that his half-sibling was actually alive and breathing, being a lowly slave to her supposed destroyer that had "ended" her life in sunclan. had he known, leviathan would have gone out to fetch her back, slipping into the bloodclan territory and taking her back to the place where she would truly receive love. perhaps it was that peculiar motive that levi had of rescuing children that had no one else to support them, his clanmates teased him about it but the vertically challenged arcanium wasn't sure if it was considered amusing since he didn't even know why he did it. it wasn't to have multiple relationships with siblings and be seen as a "good" person in other clanmate's eyes, that was for sure.
his attention snapped up when he heard the familiar voice of suga call out for a meeting, demanding the focus of the other sunclanners that littered the streets of solar city. his left sable ear twitched as the pitch black shadow of a feline rose to his paws and closing the book he had been enjoying some free time for himself. leviathan's muscular form walked while the beginning of the announcement came out, his small paws softly leaving tiny indents of his pads and his obsidian fur slightly swaying in the autumn wind. luckily, it wasn't as cold anymore due to the eclipse finally leaving their asses alone so the prince enjoyed the warm rays of the massive star above that were soaked in by his pelt. halting beside angeldust, brushing softly against the taller lighter figure as he glanced briefly up towards them, noticing the tiny purple splotch that painted a patch of the light silver fur. he wrinkled his nose, rolling his titanium gray eyes while muttering a soft "idiot" underneath his breath before focusing on what was being said.
"i can be the ambassador for hawkclan, if you need me to be." leviathan called out, monotone voice not holding much eagerness for the task but leviathan had grown used to the traveling and since he gave up riverclan to irene, he might as well return to his normal work pace of two ambassadorships. it was rather stupid of him to do so much shit yet leviathan wanted to contribute as much as possible especially with the whole war going on. good allies meant possible candidates to fight alongside with against bloodclan. he raised a fictional eyebrow at the given task of returning eden, a sudden spark of energy growing inside his chest though he didn't show the eagerness past his unreadable mask, simply giving a nod though he felt relief that he would be able to save his sister from the tyranny of their enemy.

Meetings had been a boring event back in BlizzardClan, with Sweetophelia herself droning on about allied events and promotions and demotions - clearly, politics were unrelentlessly boring to Beck. Not that he had cared enough to pay attention to his former leader, he never even had an actual conversation with her. Probably would of helped if he had been closer to Sweet before Jersey decided to go and be a snitch over events that had been mostly resolved. Where was that nitwit anyways? He hadn't heard any signs of an accent, but maybe that's just because the tuxedo cat wasn't speaking. There was a possibility Jacob was here as well, but if Jerseyboy wasn't yet, then he doubted the sniveling husky would be. That meant the coast was clear. Wordlessly slipping into the outer rim of the gathering of unfamiliar creatures, the poltergiest awkwardly settled himself down, lucky to be blind to whatever glances or glares would be thrown his way. Ska'arq wasn't here, however, and that left him vulnerable. An electric blue tongue swiped over his snout and trembling whiskers, attempting to force him into listening beyond the boredom filtering into his mind and actually understand what the leader who he had known as Suga before he even considered joining this place was trying to say. HawkClan was a clan he hadn't ever heard people talk much about, but he had seen a few members arrive at BlizzardClan events. Oh, and apparently SunClan was still at war with BloodClan. Great. He couldn't hold his attention on one thing for long, not even a few moments later, Beck was trying to entertain himself by sinking pearly claws into the earth beneath him and scooping out little ditches that served no purpose at all.
-
//OOC
Ska'arq supposed he would have to work hard to convince the residents of SunClan - his Clanmates, now, - that he and Beck meant no harm. In due time, of course. He was next to weave through the quickly gathering crowd, carefully making sure to not tread on smaller animals or their tails as he made his way over to the apparition. NPCs scooted aside with sidelong glances as the dragon planted himself on the ground, lowering himself onto his belly as he fixed his attention on the leader. What was his name again? He hadn't particularly paid attention to politics back in BlizzardClan, either - the names of the leaders of other Clans were a mystery to him. Hadn't people mentioned Suga at their joining, or something? Oh, well. He could always ask later. Considering that they were new, it shouldn't be too much of a shock that he didn't know. Glancing over at Beck, he murmured, "Heya." Just in case he hadn't realized he was there.

As Suga called the clan together, Andi bounded over to the meeting place, leaving her crafting projects behind for just a moment to listen to the announcements. The canine sat towards the front and raised her head, gleaming up at the leader as he spoke, taking in his words. They had established an alliance with HawkClan, which she had been previously aware of, as well as Eden still being held captive in BloodClan. It had been harder to get the princess back than Andi had expected. As for the rest of the announcements, they were mostly just for events, which all seemed interesting. She'd have to keep her eye out for those. Andi said nothing, but gave a nod of understanding, sitting with her ears pricked as she waited to hear the rest of the meeting announcements.
-
Ah, it was meeting time. This guy held his meetings later in the week than Sweetophelia did, it seemed like. Or whatever. Why was he keeping track? The tuxedo tom made his way over, thankfully not spotting Beck or Ska'arq among the audience members, and he chose to sit near the sidelines. It wasn't like any of this stuff would apply to him, right? He had only been in SunClan for a day or so. Instead, he decided to mostly half-listen while puffing on a lit cigarette.
What caught his attention, though, was the mention of HawkClan. Jersey lifted his gaze onto Suga as he announced their alliance with the newly made anti-clan. Oh, so they'd be allies with them after all? That meant that HawkClan could be invited to their events, and it meant that he'd be seeing Imperia more often. She had decided to join HawkClan just recently, and while he wasn't too happy about it, he still would've been happy if she visited more often. He debated on being the ambassador, but before he could make up his mind, Levi had volunteered. Oh well. That was too much walking for him, anyways.

The number of joiners this week staggered Sarangerel - as she sat awaiting the rest of Suga's speech, her opalescent gaze couldn't help but stray from left to right, resting for a moment on each new face it found. It made her proud to see how well known SunClan's name had become, so well known that their ranks were beginning to swell.
Flicking her ears in surprise as Levi offered himself as ambassador, the sylph's attention drifted from Jerseyboy and onto her fellow Goldenblood. She hoped Levi wasn't overworking himself - he already seemed to do so much, it felt like he was the glue holding them together. Saran suddenly felt an urge to go and thank him for all that he was doing, but she supposed it could wait until the Commander had finished his announcements.
-
✶ ✶ ✶ Irene padded forward quietly at her father's call, paws dragging slightly as she moved to sit beside Angel. Her usually bright amber gaze was dull as she looked up towards the commander, her body slouched with exhaustion. She hadn't been able to sleep since being returned - not because she had been treated so poorly. No, she was unable to feel a moments rest knowing that her little sister was still there, and she was here. Why had she been returned, and not Eden? It seemed so unfair. Shuffling her paws slightly, the femme remained quiet, not feeling the need to respond verbally. Instead she would wait for whatever announcements were to come.
-
A meeting, huh? Billie guessed things were pretty similar here as compared to Blizzardclan, though it did seem there was much more going on here in terms of events and news. Which, honestly, was perfectly fine with him - he was always looking for some way to keep himself occupied.
Shuffling over, the small tuxedo placed himself next to Jerseyboy, since he was the only one he was familiar with yet, humming a small tune as he waited for the meeting to proceed. He usually wasn't that interested in meetings, since they seemed to only cover politics, but so far at least some of this information had grabbed his attention.
-
★☆★
It wasn't always the most interesting part of clan life, but meetings did hold some importance; especially considering how hectic things had been. Hexane felt a wave of calm envelope him at the mention of Irene getting home safely, but it was marred by Eden's continued absence. He would follow Levi on that battle soon enough.
Nothing else was entirely notable, though he did notice that Suga had yet to address Robin's disappearance. It still left an awkward pang in his chest that he tried to ignore; creatures came and went, and he couldn't bother with their personal choices. He just hoped it had been a choice and not an unfortunate circumstance of running into danger. Whatever the case, he sat quietly in preparation to hear how Suga had decided the clan would move on from their current lack of a regent.
-
♥ The eyes of most of his clan-mates were staring up at him now, waiting for him to spill the bittersweet announcements. Some of them must have noticed by now, the absence of their Flame Regent, but he hadn't truly accepted it yet. He didn't want to think of his best friend as gone, for if he did, he knew his mind would only swirl with wonder about where she could be besides her place next to the throne. Even so, her position was left unfilled, and with everything going on, he needed a second in command to turn to, and so did the clan. "Bad news first, I guess," Began the Commander as his golden irises pointed towards the crowd once more, "Regent Leonidas' living quarters were found abandoned, and all of her things are missing. I tracked her scent down to somewhere across the border, but she covered it well, and my search parties came up with nothing. Robin has left the clan, and so has Khaol, although he promised to visit." A low sigh from the hybrid gave the audience a few moments for the information to sink in, and then he said, "No demotions today, although Hexane, Sarangerel, and Angeldust have warnings. Shout-outs go to Andi, Gareth, Irene, and Barei. Eden, whenever she returns, will step up to Sunguard. Many new creatures have been introduced to SunClan's ranks this week, so I'd like to formally welcome Jacob, Jinya, Whitechapel, Yoshiko, Seafoam, Sjo, Wendell, Jairus, Sylvina, Ironempire, Ska'arq, Beck, Jerseyboy, Billie Joe, Pierce, and Corvidae." Fuck, he hope he hadn't missed anyone in that storm of names.
"Levi, step up," Ordered the multi-tailed tom after a moment of silence, hopping off of the throne in a stand so that his son could be at his flank. His eyes glinted a brighter gold as he watched the bobtailed tom walk upwards towards him, for however devastated he was to have lost his best friend, he was so sure of his next announcement. "The warrior at my side has come so far since he joined our ranks, and proven time and time again that he is a loyal and dedicated member of this clan. He has risked his life and saved many, and when it comes to choosing SunClan's next Flame Regent, the decision was not difficult." There was so much more he could say about why the younger male was the right choice, about how proud he was of him, but all of that mushy shit could be saved for later. For now, as he spoke his next words, his infamous smolder formed a genuine smile. "From this point until my death, he will be known as Regent Arcanium, my second in command."
Placing one of his tails on his adoptive son's shoulder, he finished, "Meeting dismissed!"- a trick or treat marketplace, bonfire stories, and a zombie wound treatment class are this week's upcoming events

corroding iron eyes — dented titanium demise leviathan knew the feeling all to well about seeing someone go. it was a string of melancholy that intertwined with one's organs. the tightened chest, the sudden turmoil of the stomach, and the painful grip of a choked throat. even if his eyes had grown tired and empty of watching retreating clanmates slip past or allow the dust to cover their bodies, gone and missing without anyone knowing where they could be. he had respected robin, seen her as someone dedicated to the clan with the intention of making sunclan shine more. she had never judged him or tried to correct his rough edged behavior, instead she had accepted him the way he was without a pause of hesitation. levi had at first been suspicious of her welcoming manner alongside his clanmates when he had first joined, uncertain of why they had been so eager to have someone weak and pathetic join their ranks. as time trickled by like grains in an hourglass, levi was allowed to see the revealed answer to his suppressed question. sunclan wasn't just some hierarchy of ranks and power and politics, it was a family willing to lend plenty of aid even when one believed they were truly alone.
he forced himself to not notice the still absence of the alabaster form of robin, his half-lidded magnetic gray eyes simply locked onto the looming figure of his father, silver gaze calculating what was going on inside the commander's head. they weren't as close as a tight-knitted small family would be but leviathan had never once doubted suga's and his actions. they all seemed to just be arrows directing towards the positive future of his home yet leviathan hoped there wasn't too much weight on the catsune's shoulder to the point of being overwhelmed. levi was a bit of a hypocrite when thinking that way especially after offering himself to be the ambassador of hawkclan without thinking much about it. why the hell was he putting this much effort? was the war's actions snapping at his mind to keep working harder? improve weaponry, improve training, improve alliances, improve protection. it was all so much but leviathan knew that it would be worth it and that everyone deserved to have a life that didn't have overwhelming amounts of tragedy like what the war brought. he wanted it to end and he hoped that it would with suga leading them to a victory's embrace.
his triangular velvety ears twitched softly as the announcements began. the short male simply blinked as a response, not much of a shock flickering over his sharp youthful features since he had been there for most of it. the warnings weren't something that took him back either, simply gently bumping his broad shoulder against the silver kitsune's leg when angeldust was given a warning. hopefully, they would be able to get back into the roll of things. the shoutouts for good members caused levi to feel eager for new positions that would fill up with possible candidates and then when eden was given the position to become a sunguard, leviathan felt a swell of pride become an entrapped bubble inside his chest. she had done so well recently, he was proud of her. the new flood of joiners was a lot and leviathan's thuggish glare slightly widened at the explosion of names. his tar black jaws parted, ready to greet them when his name was next up in the chopping block.
leviathan rose to his soft paws, the muscular figure stalking forward and weaving through the crowd with his gaze locked forward though the heavy feeling of eyes set on him was burning his back as the prince reached to the spot in front of his father. as suga began, leviathan's pitch black form stiffened as the japanese bobtail wasn't one to really be familiar with compliments. he forced himself to stay still though he felt a sudden lodging of his throat, the turmoil in the stomach, and the tightness of his chest as levi's ears caught everything crystal clear. instead of a string of melancholy, it was a ribbon of shocked realization. levi's hardened narrowed gaze widened, becoming pools of melted titanium as he was given the title of regent. the heavy tail that was bigger than him rested on his shoulder and for once, leviathan felt...small. his eyes fluttered to the ground as he tried to let the moment process through his mind as the male remained dead quiet, unsure of what to say. it took him a few moments for a jumbled "t-thank you...i'll do my best..." rolled and fell out of his lips, the japanese bobtail trying to place back his solemn mask but all he could do was stand there. like a damn idiot.

TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — The first thought that ran through Weri's mind was excitement. So many names had been called for so many good thing! Gareth had been called out, as had Eden been promoted! And, while she felt a flicker in disappointment in herself for not having gotten a shoutout to make her brother proud, the girl figured that she would just have to work a bit harder, and the mere thought brought a happy bounce to her step. It was Levi's promotion that most caught her, however, and a cheerful laugh bubbled from her maw. "Good jobs Levvers!"

Ska'arq straightened up in surprise as he heard his name called out by the leader. How did he know his name, anyway? Maybe he got reports when newcomers came. Nonetheless, the announcement had caught him off guard. Sweetophelia had never introduced new members before- but maybe it was because they often got so many?
As ranks and shoutouts and warnings were given, he found himself confused. He should likely try to understand the ranks here before he made a stupid mistake. As eyes turned to the one named 'Levi,' the dragon shifted his attention as well. Wasn't he the one who'd called everyone off when they were trying to drive them out at the border? He would have to thank him for that later. But for now, he simply joined the cheering. "Congratulations!"
