waking up and being unable to recall the past twenty four hours wasn't an uncommon thing for luca. it was quite often paired with the same throbbing headache that he had now, so he was pretty sure he knew what was going on. the bitter taste of alcohol on his tongue only confirmed his theory. he brought a paw up to his aching skull and frowned as he lifted his sluggish body upwards, and he wondered just how much alcohol he'd consumed. he'd been drinking a lot ever since his boyfriend left him, but apparently last night he'd gone a little overboard. it didn't take much to get him drunk so unfortunately he went through this a lot. no big deal, he'd be able to fix himself up before someone found him.
but then something shifted behind him and he froze. oh god, he wasn't alone. waking up with a hangover next to someone else could only ever mean one thing, and he slowly turned around to peek at whoever he'd slept with now. when he saw the enemy feline and managed to make out who it was, he couldn't help but laugh with a mixture of worry and disbelief. his first response was denial, of course, because apparently he'd slept with littlstar and who could have seen that coming? she was about to wake up, too. his mind was caught between fight or flight, so he ended up standing beside her on swaying paws, hoping she'd be just a little calmer than usual after waking up. maybe they had just had a good old drunken bonding session before passing out next to each other, or something.
hah, who was he kidding? she was totally going to murder him.
