"It's pretty" Juliette replied like a child as she looked at him. Sometimes she wonder what is was that he saw whenever he looked at her. NOw that is an interesting thought. "And the water is always nice." She falls back on her bed sitting as she lays down with the ice pack covering her eyes. Maybe with everything going on, she needed to cool down for a bit. The ice hitting her skin felt nice and JUliette felt herself relax. "I went a few times with my family for vacation. It was nice."

He leaned back against the frame of the bed, glad she was starting to calm down. He let out a sigh. Today wasnt the best day, was it?
"Oh yeah? Whats it like? The beach I mean. Ive never been although I hear its beautiful during the sunset." Kano replied to her short answers. They didnt really cover anything, but it seemed to be working so he just went along with it. He glanced up at the ceiling, awaiting her reply. The beach. He had only seen pictures of it. In all honesty it did not seem like a place he would ever visit, but it was always nice to look at. Maybe thats why she liked it. It was nice to look at. Perhaps it looked better in person.
-
A small smile played at her lips. "After a long day of playing around in the sand and swimming in the water, the sunset over the water is just perfect. The salty air and the noise that the waves make is just so soothing that you end up falling asleep. But." Juliette stopped speaking as she remembered her favorite moments from being at the beach with her family. "It's not until it's night time when it truly is beautiful. The moon looks like it is coming out of the ocean and gives just the right amount of light to see in the dark and dozens of bright little stars are scattered across the sky." As she spoke the smile never left her lips even when she was feeling a bit nostalgic, but she was more than happy to have been able to live that experience.
-
A small smile spread across Kanos face. That sounded nice. The night was beautiful - no one could deny that. At least, he would think they were insane for thinking so. The male glanced over, she was smiling and her eyes were normal. Did.. .did he just help? That was one of the greatest rewards ever. Perhaps he wasnt the worst. Maybe he was just really bad at this, but not the worst. A soft hum in the tune of a song he couldnt remember came from him for a few moments before it abruptly stopped.
"Well... why dont we go tomorrow?" Kano asked, looking up at her to see the reaction that was sure to be good. Right? He paused thinking for a moment. "Nah, why dont we go right now?" Kano stood up and took Juliettes hands in his, pulling her up from the bed. "We can go right now. Night is surely going to fall soon and by the time wed get there, the sunset will be right over the water."
-
~I wish I could just my bag and leave for a night anywhere I want.~ That would be the dream.
BTW I hope I need a good job on describing the beach. I was listening of an audio of waves to be able to describe it better. XD
Juliette was thinking about her family when Kano started talking. Surprised at his sudden suggesting and when he pulling on her hand. "Wait now?!" She couldn't help, but ask when he had already answered her question. She liked the idea of going and always wanted to visit the beach again. It was rather spontaneous and out of the blue, almost, but something things still remained," But how will we get there? The nearest beach from here is a pretty good distance away." Juliette slowly pulled her hand away from his.
-
//Yeah it would. Especially at night, away from the city, with the stars hanging over head. Perhaps with a small cool breeze on the top of a mountain somewhere, overlooking anything. With the crickets chirping and no other noise. Heck yes.
Kano gave her a grin, possibly the first real happy emotion he expressed and held out his hand again, hoping that he didnt weird her out the first time. "I have a way, and we will be there in no time at all. Just close your eyes and relax." The male said, once again offering his hand. Part of him wanted her not to guess how they were going to get there, but another part of him did. In the end, he hoped that the traveling would be a nice trip and soon they would be walking on the beach.
-
Maybe the migraine really was hitting her in head or today was just too draining for her or perhaps it was the happy smile that Kano was giving her, but which one it was Juliette found herself placing her hand in his. "Okay." She grinned matching his smile,"Okay let's go." She didn't question his method since he's proven to her that he would protect her and even though he had said and proven he is more than capable to end her, she still trusted him. She closed her eyes as he instructed and allowed for her body to relax.

The world instantly went gray. The air felt like it was being sucked out of the room for a second. Then, it was deadly calm, but silent. He released her hand and took a step back. The air started to get colder and the hard room floor began changing to the soft sand of the beach. It grew darker too, and the soft and calming sound of the waves crashing into the rocks and rolling onto the shore filled the air. There was a small amount of chatter in the background, but it was barely noticeable. He opened his own eyes. The sun hung over the water, casting purple and pink lights over the land. His eyes widened in awe. It was so pretty here. The golden gaze returned to Juliette a moment later.
"We are here now. Feel free to move around, Ms. Juliette."

// this will be my last post for today since I'm going to sleep.
Juliette couldn't see what was happening, but she could hear and once she heard those familiar waves she opened her eyes. Juliette looked at the clouds and the sunset with a smile. "It's just as beautiful as I remember." Juliette said in a soft voice as she pictured herself with her siblings playing in the sand and in the water as their parents stayed on the sand getting their snacks ready. Feeling playful, Juliette looks over at Kano and nudges him towards the ocean,"Race you!" She takes off running but also laughing
-
//Im tired too. Ill reply in the morning... the later morning.
-
ok
-
"Hey! You gotta head start!" A laugh came from him as he took off running after her. After a couple strides he realized that you cant exactly.. run in the sand. It was quite awkward actually.
"Okayokay! You win!" He said after Juliette had reached the beach. The sand was slightly better here, and he made sure to stay out of the waves.
-
Juliette laughed when her feet touched the water. "It feels so nice!" She cheered facing Kano as she stayed in the shallow part of the ocean. She would occasionally go in, but only went as far until the water reached her knees. She didn't bring any spare clothing so she couldn't risk going fully in the water.
-
The boy dropped down onto the sand, feeling the cold, grainy texture. It was so...weird. After a second, his eyes went to the sunset. She was right - it was beautiful. It was definitly now on his favorite places to see, thats for sure. He loved how you could see every ripple in the water and how the waves sounded. Kano realized that he could no longe hear the voices from the people either. They must have left, which was a relief.
"Dont go in too far! Youll gt cold, Ms. Juliette!" He called out, joy evident in is voice.
-
She heard him, but waved at him instead. "Come over here, Kano! The water isn't too cold so its good!" SHe had noticed him look at the sand closely. It's obvious that he's never been to the beach before, but she'd hoped they could come more often to make up for it. "Come over here!" Juliette urged him as she splashed around the water for a bit and looked down to see if she could find any sort of underwater critter.
-
Kano shook his head a little and waved his hand to dismiss it. Nah, he wasnt interested. Sure, the soldier loved it when it was cold out, but he wasnt exactly fond of cold water. Once more he found his eyes traveling to the sky as the sun was finally dipping below the horizon and the stars were finally coming out. With every minute he was out of the beach, the more he was loving it. Well, his earlier guess about not wanting to go was wrong. Really wrong. The golden gaze watched the sky for a few moments before a tiny little streak flew across the sky before disappearing. A shooting star. Immediately, the wish popped into his mind.
"I wish that Juliette could always be this happy." Kano whispered, his face turning red as he realized that, that was the first wish that came to mind and how much he realized it was true. The male's gaze returned to Juliette. The beach did make him happy with its beauty, but not anywhere near as happy as it did to see her like this.
-
Juliette continued on playing around int he water like a little kid and only stopped when she couldn't feel her toes anymore. Smiling brightly, she walked over to Kano with the sand sticking to her feet and along the way grabbed her discarded shoes. "Thanks for bringing me here." Juliette was sincere with her words as she sat down next to him. Her smile never left her face as she stared ahead at the water and placed her shoes next to her. Her hands were at her feet as she dusted off the sand that cling to her feet and tried to warm them up. "I was starting to forget how beautiful it can get to watch a sunset over the water."
-
Kano nodded, agreeing, It was beautiful. That wasnt a lie. He played with the sand a little, a crab scuttling across his hand. The boy jumped a little before picking up the tiny critter. It squirmed as he held it out toward Juliette.
"Look what I found."
-
Juliette noticed the small crab although she found it rather cute since it was small, she still kept her distance from actually touching it. "It's a tiny crab." She comments looking at it's legs and claws. "But you should just let it be on it's way. It probably has somewhere to be and we might be scaring the little guy." She pulls her feet towards her body and hugs them to herself making herself into a little ball. Her feet hadn't yet warmed so she was feeling rather cold.
-
//Sorry. My muse (for everything) has be SUCKY lately. I dunno why;;
The little creature squirmed, trying desperately to get out of the, most likely in the crabs view, predator. Kano studied it for a second before the voice of Juliette telling him to put it down drew his eyes away. The boy hesitated for a moment before setting it down where he found it. It scrambled away, claw in the air. Kano watched it go untilhe could no longer see it. The quiet.. the quiet was nice. It wasnt silent but it was quiet. The stars that already shone so brightly above them were breathtaking. Why didnt he ever come before? Oh thats right, he didnt think hed like it. What a silly mistake that was.
