  • - they are and they are so beautiful too. honestly it's also the only reason i ever watched Harry Potter in the first place c: -

"That's good," Codella commented with a smile. Her parents had a few siblings but not a lot of them were really around. After her mother married her father, the Queen's siblings broke most of their contact with her, believing that marrying to future king at the time was the worst mistake of her life. Her father only had one sister, Lisa, who was rude and obnoxious and who Codella couldn't stand.

"They are doing well," Codella said with a nod. "Father has been working really hard lately and he doesn't really have much time for me and my brothers. And mother, well, she's still not the same since, you know, Daniel," At the age of ten, Codella had lost her brother and the death had been hardest on the Queen, who couldn't bare loosing one of her children. "Mother has become a bit ill, but she'll be fine, the royal doctor said so."

  • Caspian hummed "I do wish her the best of luck," she said. She didn't want the other girl to leave so soon. Fearing that she'd be too busy with duties to stay any longer than she already had. "When can we meet up again?" she asked. She knew it was part of the plan but something deep inside her was saying that she needed to get back into her friend's life.

((Honestly, same. Where I live there's an animal refuge and they have owls, I go a lot to see them))

  • - I would love that. I actually fostered an owl named Clipper. He had an injured wing and at the time I lived near a wild animal reserve and people could foster the animals until they were healthy enough to be set free. Also, sorry this post is super late, I had a meeting this morning. We are in the process of trying to find a new home seeing as our apartment complex got a new manager and he hates big dogs and I have two pit bulls and a shitzu so he said we could either get rid of them or move out so we are trying to find a new place to live. -

Codella smiled softly when Caspian wished her mother luck. It warmed her heart to see that her old friend still cared. "I'm sure we can meet up soon," the brunette princess said with hope. She would admit that she felt very nostalgic at seeing Caspian once again. "I'm sure, if you would like, you'd be welcome at the castle whenever. I can even tell Sir Alyn to expect you." Codella said. Alyn was Codella's newest guard back at the castle, the son of her former guard Alfred who had been her guard since she was little, who passed away a mere three years ago and whose son had taken his place.

  • ((it's quite alright, I am sorry to hear, best of luck to you))

Caspian nodded "that would be lovely, it'd be great to see how that castle has changed after all these years," she said. She remembered being quite little running through the halls with her friend and the siblings of Codella. She had missed the comfort of safety in the castle, and even the comfort and community of the city.

  • - thanks -

"Perfect," Codella beamed heartily with a bright smile. The young princess took hold of the young duchess' hand, gripping it firmly in her own as she spotted one of her guards signalling to her. "Well we best be on our way back to the castle before we worry Jane for being out too late," the brunette said with a soft laugh. Her older sister was highly protective of her only child, which was expected from a duchess who couldn't have any more children. "Please feel free to come by the castle whenever, yeah?"

  • "I shall, best of luck to you," Caspian said softly with a small wave. She then turned to her goods, and at the elderly woman who was waiting patiently for crops. Caspian gave her a small smile and filled her basked with what she needed, In exchange she put the coins in her pocket. She looked at the guard that had signaled the two women she was just speaking to.

    (No problem)
