  • EMPTY CHAIRS AT EMPTY TABLES

*:・゚✦ It was a new day.

Autumn was just swinging in on the mainland, yet the rainforest was Justin closing upon it's wet season. The weak summer sun rose heavily upon the horizon and casts everything in a film of dreamy, ephemeral orange. Seafoam, her pink eyes watching the mountains get engulfed by the fire, slowly but surely, sighed in wonder. Daybreak never did get old for her, no matter where she was. Behind her, the crest of the hill dipped down and plunged into the undergrowth, and the rainforest hummed with untapped energy. The tropical birds were just arising from slumber, and the toucans began to perch upon the tall rubber boughs and wait for a chance at prey.

At this spot, Seafoam seemed almost like an angel. Bathed in white and haloed by tendrils of dawn, it seemed as if she had just descended from Heaven. There were no wings and no halo, but if one were to look close enough, perhaps they could imagine it. Here, she was merely content to watch and bask in the moment. So much of her life had been flown past with hardly a second to take in her surroundings, so Seafoam had always admired the chance to admire the reverie.

Soon, the sun had risen above the highest peak far in the distance and it's glory now teetered steadily upon it's silhouetted tip, as if a golf ball on a stand. The clouds that crowded upon the horizon were bathed with a light that only amplified their depth and made it seem as if Seafoam could reach out and wave her paw through the condensed moisture. Even while her eyes glittered with stars, she turned her head and rose from the boulder she was perched upon. Her claws clinging to the slippery, damp rock, she stepped into the moss that clung to it's side and leapt away from the stone.

To her side, Seafoam could hear the thunderous crash of a waterfall, and far ahead of her, the smell of saltwater and clan cats. All of this contributed to her conclusion that she had finally made it to Sunclan.

  • ✶ ✶ ✶ Irene had never been one to really stop and appreciate the sunrise, she had always had better things to do with her time and never found it that interesting a thing to do. However, after losing their sun in the eclipse and being cloaked in shadows and cold for such a long time, the warden had grown a new fondness for the fiery star which they worshiped. She still probably wouldn't be found reveling in it's beauty, but she had a newfound appreciation for its light and warmth which she wouldn't be taking for granted ever again. They had worked hard to bring it back, and hopefully would never again have to.

The red-marked catsune was surely what drew her out to the border this time, as it was the usual call of an unfamiliar voice or a strange scent on the wind. Instead it was more of a feeling, like something would be waiting for her there. Thus the femme took flight, silently making her way across Sunclan's territory until a small, white form below caught her attention. With how many alabaster creatures lived in the clan, it wouldn't be considered an unusual sight, however she was sure she had never seen this one before. After hovering above for a few moments longer, just to be certain, the hybrid gracefully allowed herself to fall back to the earth, feet lightly connecting with the ground upon landing. She was getting better at this whole flying thing.

Deep amber optics quickly locking onto the feline's frame, tails swaying gently behind her, Irene offered a faint smile to the stranger. "Hello there. May I have your name and business, please?" Her tone was polite yet friendly, and she relaxed her shoulders, not feeling as if she were in any danger from the girl. Cocking her head ever so slightly to the side, the princess would seat herself upon the grass, gaze holding the smallest bit of curiosity as she waited for the other's response.

  • Andi seemed to be one to easily take things for granted. She never realizes how good she has it until it's all gone. Much like Irene, the canine had never even stopped to appreciate the sun until it was suddenly just... gone. It was an odd thing to think about, how everyone should appreciate what they have, even if they have just a little. After all, you'll never know if those little things will one day be gone as well.

The fluffy shiba mix caught sight of an unfamiliar creature, and decided to see what this one might be doing here. She followed closely after the catsune, a smile visible upon her facial features as she seated herself down, offering Seafoam a single nod in greeting. "Hi," she'd say simply, as Irene seemed to have mostly everything covered, though Andi felt it necessary to add in her own little greeting, knowing that SunClan would come off as more 'friendly' that way.

  • Eden was growing used to seeing new faces around the SunClan camp more often, and while she always enjoyed the prospect of new friends, it wasn't often that she found herself lingering at the border, eager to introduce herself unless someone else was there to make sure that she was safe. Today, that happened to be her sister, Irene, and Andi- the latter of which she still had to properly meet, mind you, but the girl was quick to flutter over to her sister's side, a clear mark of the Arcanium heritage. THough she was still young, and small in size, the girl's sleek and long white fur was carefully accented by soft, feathered wings, and dappled orange patterns that lay in swirls and patterns along the edges and through her wings, as well as a few small marks along the bridge of her nose. If Seafoam was to be an angel, with her beautiful presence, of which Eden could readily agree, then Eden could at least hope she looked like the Princess that she was supposed to be, that she yearned to behave as.

Since her sister had already asked this newcomer's name and business, and Andi had made her greetings, Eden would make her way to her sister's side, allowing a smile to come to her face as she briefly pressed her cheek into her sister's shoulder as a fond greeting before she would sit herself down, her paw lightly tapping, as she gave the newcomer a nod. She wasn't sure why they were supposed to nod, but a lot of people that came to join got nodded at so, she did it took. "Hi, I'm Princess Eden Arcanium!" she would chime happily, finding it fitting to give a proper introduction of her own. "Welcome to SunClan- Oh, if you stay, anyway!"

  • Like other Sunclanners present, Angeldust had taken the sun for granted until the clan had been suddenly thrust into the pitch black abyss that had been the eclipse which had terrorised Sunclan. Now the kitsune more enjoyed the sun's gentle rays providing a constant warmth to their gray fur, providing enough energy for their numerous plants to survive and thrive again. Everything was just better with the sun around, and you'd be hard pressed to find a Sunclanner who didn't agree.

The sunny weather also apparently attracted visitors and even potential new members, Angeldust watching over Seafoam's foreign form beside their three other female clanmates. Peculiar. Never the less, weird coincidences were ignored as Ang continued to scrutinise Seafoam's form. Relaxed, a little too relaxed. The female was acting as if she already owned the place. Angeldust wasn't sure what to think of the foreigner, but wasn't too impressed yet.
