  • When approaching the front gates to the usually bright and colorful city, a visitor might be surprised to see that things had drastically changed. When it came to parties and events of the sort, SunClan was known for taking things to the next level with both decorations and art, and they had surely provided. In place of what would normally be gold and white banners of the sun, there were fake hanging cobwebs of a white, green, orange, purple, and black color scheme. Instead of mini fire-pits and beautifully painted stones, jack o' lanterns lined the city streets. Rather than a vibrant pelt painting station, Sugaredsun had set up his own costume makeup stand. Even giant faux spiders, gravestones, and motion-censored creatures replaced what would have customarily been artwork of all kinds. Near the large endless fire that burned near the pyramid, one could find a display of food, all fitting the theme of course. Buckets of candy, caramel apples, brain-like spaghetti, gummy-worms, a died green chocolate fountain and more were ready to be enjoyed. All that was missing was spookily dressed guests to take part in the first game of the night. "Everyone gather around for a game of Truth or Scare!" Called the Commander as he took a seat near the fire, the dark cape of his vampire costume blowing in the night wind, "For those unfamiliar with the rules, you either tell a truth, or you have to face one of your fears." An only slightly evil grin danced onto his lips, sure that with all of the dangerous landmarks in their territory, this would be an entertaining night for fear facing. Tracing his tongue along his long white fangs, the tom said, "Who's first?"

[ aye, welcome to sunclan's halloween fair! your character is free to socialize or do whatever they want in this main thread, but completing a truth or scare in the game earns them one extra candy for the upcoming marketplace! below are the other halloween fair events that all guests are invited to, and this thread will be bumped w the links as they are made.

  • Oh... It sounded fun up until Suga mentioned that they would have to face their fears if they got picked for it. That didn't bode well with Eden, considering how many fears the little girl had, but... it was the Halloween fest! She wanted to attend because it sounded like fun. And Fun was something Eden needed lately, which was perhaps the only reason that Eden had dared to go. Well, that, and dress up, though it wasn't anything crazy considering her sensory disorders; instead, she had found a simple halo-head peice to plop onto her head. It was perhaps cheating, but Eden would be an Angel for the event. Ironic, all things considered, but she still scampered over to her father's side, looking around quietly at the decorations for a moment before she continued her path towards her father, moving closer as she made her way to nudge herself beneath his wing and into his cloak. "Can I play?"

"the truth is scary enough." mica couldn't help herself but muse as quick strides carried her towards the others, eventually coming to a halt next to eden. she offered the femme a temperate smile before looking around, letting a sough of respect out to whoever took the time to decorate her clan. she had to confess, everything was absolutely... spooky. the serval cub had never been around or even alive for a halloween before, let alone any celebration, so the idea of festivities certainly were deemed odd to her - however she did anything but object to the idea of it. the thought of everyone as a whole, together, appreciating a common subject - it was one of the little things that stunned her about being part of a clan. so much emotion and time that was put into this, it was something she couldn't fathom. the young femme found her clan's turf a stunning sight as it was already, but the amount of paws and effort the decorations had taken made everything seem that much more incredible. "i may think about playing."

  • Volkrath was about to bite into a rather plump vole when his father's looming voice settled upon the young catsune. Truth... Or scare? Nice. He was only seven months old but hopefully he would be able to portray something somewhat frightening in a sense to his clanmates. Althought it was his first 'holiday,' the son of Suga and Robin absolutely adored the festivities that acquainted Halloween. The decorations, food, games...It was so much fun to his eagerly growing mind.

Upon laying his amber optics between the gathered clanmates, the hybrid would focus on his half sister — Eden. He still had yet to form a sibling bond with her. What better way to kickstart a relationship than to prank 'em? Volkrath settled down on his haunches for a few seconds while his rear end began wiggling in anticipation before attempting to spring through the air and latch himself on to his sister in a playful manner.

  • Littlestar had never really been inside Sunclan territory before. Not properly, at least. She knew it to be a pretty stunning place with the pyramids and seperated parts of it all but actually entering it was a stark difference to merely hearing of it. Littlestar made sure her griffin landed someways outside the actual territory. She didn't trust anyone enough not to harm her pet. She didn't tie him up so he could fly away if need be and left him with a basket of apples and berries. Then, with a pat of his neck, she limped into the territory, golden eyes flickering to and fro. She could hear a voice, Suga's. He was playing a game of Truth or Scares. Jesus, that sounded fun and daunting. But then again, Littlestar was all about doing things she didn't actually want to do. The heavily scarred Monarch limped, peering at all the spooky decorations. She had worn a little something to try and get into the halloween festivities (wasn't quite working yet) so devil horns wrapped around her head and she'd worn a makeshift crimsons devil tail. For once, the feline had a little bit of weight on the end of her rump. She distantly remembered what it was like to have a tail and it felt odd.

Anways, here she was in her get up. Littlestar knew no one here other then Suga and it had her general social anxieties racing. She kept her cool though, face impassive, golden eyes curious. Littlestar sat down someways besides Mica and dipped her head. "Count me in, dude." The feline grunted, lifting her paw to itch at the permanent scar that wrapped around her mouth. "To those who don't know me; I'm Littlestar." The feline introduced herself to the three she barely recognized, glowing golden eyes studying them each.

  • TAGS ▲ ▽ ▲ — considering that his fears were more of the traumatic and not exactly kid friendly type - the dragon would be liable not to play most likely, truth in itself was a daunting fear to tell for some - unless they could spin it right, but this would be fun to watch if not participate.

They'd certainly outdone themselves on these festivities, he gazed around at the colour scheme - the King himself had taken the time to 'dress up' for the Halloween events he'd no doubt be attending, his form was decorated in bone markings, around his eyes painted wholly black while the none bone markings were painted a fell black-orange in fire like wreaths - for all intents he looked like a shadow-flaming skeletal dragon in form, with the paints used in the varying lights the dark and bright colours seemed to move like living flames.

After all what better to take inspiration than his house words for this spookiest of months? Shadow and flame indeed.

  • SEQUOIA ✦ ✧ ✦ — The blonde feline was the next to arrive, an easy smile resting on her features as she walked through the entrance of the Halloween-decorated city. Now this was going to be a good time! The femme had just been waiting for something exciting like this to take place and now, it was happening! She had managed to find a headband with red devil horns and deemed that her costume, grinning wickedly at a NPC that looked her way. She found herself in the vicinity of the food, sticking her paw into the candy buckets and coming out with a variety of different candies. As she nommed on a caramel, Sequoia made her way over to the group that had gathered to play truth or dare, her pale yellow visionaries brightening at the prospect. "Oh hell yeah, I'll play."

  • Andi was rather impressed as she took a few glances all around her, taking notice of the decorations and little details that made the city practically scream halloween. She really liked the way everything had been neatly decorated. Her attention soon was turned to something else, however, once Suga announced that they were playing a game. Truth or scare? She knew of truth or dare, but truth or scare seemed like an interesting halloween twist to the classic game. It sounded pretty fun, actually! "Sure, I'll play!" She exclaimed as she approached the gathered group, silently nodding in agreement to Mica's statement. The truth alone was pretty scary, indeed. She knew that very well, and she could only hope that she wouldn't have to spill anything too uncomfortable.

  • in the many clans that he had inhabited before, never had any gone so far out to express their halloween spirit as much as this goddamn place. most were on a sort of scale, from not giving a shit about the festive night to practically walking as a skeleton and making sure that someone shit themselves at least once a day. as roosterteeth slowly made his way inside the confides of sunclan, he knew right away that sunclan was certainly doing this shit right. for once, he was actually pretty impressed at to what his clan actually had to fucking offer. in the older sunclan, when seafoam was still leader and they had most likely placed a bounty on his ass, he couldn't remember their old territories assaulting the sight of many others with such decorations. in all honesty, they probably never even celebrated it other than just passing out candies to the shit-faced children and weird-ass adults trick-or-treating. he'd like to admit that he was not one of those "weird-ass adults", despite his sweet tooth urging him to be one.

roosterteeth had shoved his way through the many npcs scattered around the area to get to the multiple tables hosting the various cavity-inducing treats. he didn't bother to ask if there was a limit to how many he could grab or look for some sign. instead, he dumped his scarred paws into the multiple bowls and stuffed his small jacket pockets with as much candy as he could. once the treats started to spill, he just tossed it over his shoulder (he snapped if anyone complain about the taffy bouncing off their ass) and stuffed as much unwrapped candy in his mouth. he would've kept going were it not for the fact that his one gold canine acting up and suga lamely announcing a stupid rendition of 'truth-or-dare'. yet, despite his negative opinions on everything coming out of his brother's mouth, he peeled away from the bowls with half his mouth stuffed with sweets to where the small group was at.

"sign me the fuck up for this lame shit," the bogeyman stated loudly, though muffled through the sweets possibly causing many cavities to start to form. once he did swallow some more and was left with about a third of what was originally in there, he settled himself besides littlestar and let out a small snort of exasperation. his fears? their fears? although he had a multitude of very... traumatic fears, from his experience of whipping out nightmares combined with a true fear, he had a feeling some of these fears would be little fucking bitches. but of course, what did he know? as he heard some few introducing themselves, he shrugged his clothed shoulders, "[b]name's rooster-fucking-teeth, alright? plus some last names ain't nobody gonna remember or give a shit about."

  • (The muselessness is real...)

Truth or scare? It was a rather odd name for a game, a twist on such an old classic, and it did fit the theme of Halloween quite well. While Shiki wasn't exactly easy to scare, there were still things out there that could catch her off guard and give her a bit of a fright, but that was only if she didn't tell the truth, and there wasn't much she could think of that she would lie about. "Eh, i can think of a few" Of course he could, she was certain he'd lie on purpose just to get a chance to get scared, he did enjoy things like that, though she couldn't fathom why someone would enjoy being frightened, but perhaps she simply hadn't been scared in an enjoyable way yet? "I suppose i shall play, it may prove to be rather interesting" "That's what i'm talking about, make sure to tag me in for some of these, i want a chance too!"

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Truth... or dare? Even if Weri had no real clue about what this game could even be, the little girl would make her way over, wide green eyes searching through the crowd for any familiar faces. When her gaze rested upon Littlestar, a tiny smile would break over Ria's face. That was the leader of that clan that visited! Birdclan or something! Whatever it was, Weri felt pretty darned good that they had a leader playing the same game as she would be playing. A stretch, yes, but in the mind of the little bobtail it was enough.

So, with a shy smile of greeting, Weri would shuffle in hopes of placing her rump beside Littlestar. "C-can I sit here, miss? Would that be okay?" the girl would question, voice shaky with a mixture of excitement and worry. What if she was... breaking a law or something?

  • STARS CAN'T SHINE WITHOUT DARKNESS

~ The kitten made her way over to the slightly familiar area. Plastic skeletons hung everywhere, and she could see a few lanterns clinging to the trees. She sat down next to no one in particular, smiling weakly as she heard Suga explain the rules. it sounded like a scary game. She felt comforted to see that she wasn't the only younger one here- in the corner of her eye she could see Weri take a seat next to Littlestar. Weri seemed quite nervous. Good to know she wasn't the only nervous one. "I'll play." she said, nodding in Suga's direction. Sounded like a fun game.~

  • Chesspieces didn't have one of those typical fears that someone would think of. He was afraid of the things like relationships. It was quite strange but despite that, Chesspieces found himself eagerly calling his entrance to the game. "Hold on!" The pale unicorn nickered, slowing to an even-passed trot as he approached. "Name's Chesspieces, i'm a medic trainee in BlizzardClan if no one knew." The unicorn was dressed out in his own Halloween costume. He had taken quite a liking to the Peter Pan-like outfit since BlizzardClan's murder-mystery party. He couldn't bring himself to change into something different. He had a long, green cape that floated through the air behind him as he walked. A wooden sword was tucked underneath it but barely noticeable. Tan-leather wraps were tied around his ankles and he had a green, elf-like hat that was pulled over his leaf-shaped ears. The unicorn's white hair had been pulled up and into a braid, strands of it falling into his face, hiding the bright, blue eyes he had. "I'll join in the game!"

  • corroding iron eyes — dented titanium demise

a fair, one about a holiday he had never experienced or known about until coming to sunclan. he guessed the main idea was foolish and not exactly interesting as it was just another foolish spirit shit thing but it didn't mean he wouldn't participate to show he would still support even if he had not a single clue what the hell was going on. the obsidian japanese bobtail stalked silently towards the scene with his head low, half lidded arctic storm faze flickering at the direction of his clanmates and allies. they seemed interested in joining suga's game yet the short goldenblood stayed behind, simply observing since he didn't really want to be given a honest question that would force him to open the male in a place full of strangers. so the dark vampire simply sat back and watched, unreadable expression showing faint curiosity as he observed.

  • Halloween was quite honestly one of Irene's favorite holidays, and though she would probably say that about almost every one of them, this one she was particularly fond of. The real world was scary enough, and they were forced to face their own demons almost every waking moment of their life, but for this one day every year they could pretend to be something else. They could dress up, forget about themselves and their problems for a short time, and have fun with spooky activities that didn't actually put their lives in danger. To her, that was one of the greatest blessings she could ask for; the ability to be whatever you want. The opportunity to feel alive, to take on the persona you wished you actually had. Well, maybe not everyone felt this way, but it was fun for her.

She herself had never actually participated in the halloween fair before, if Sunclan had ever hosted it before, as she had left before the event had rolled around last year. But now that she was back, the warden was more excited than ever to take part in her clan's activities - especially since it was an ally wide event. Irene wasn't the most social of creatures, and found it uncomfortable to engage in small talk with those she was unfamiliar with, but she always cherished the opportunity to make new friends. After the initial awkwardness, it was rather fun to be able to travel to other clans and see faces she recognized. It was the prospect of this personal gain, as well as her want to be involved in all things related to halloween, that drew the catsune over.

Irene was rather pleasantly surprised by how many creatures she actually recognized - there were a few of her new fellow Windclanners, the Hawkclan leader of whom she had met at her request for an alliance, various of her own Sunclan clanmates, as well as a Blizzardclanner who struck a chord of familiarity within her. Of course, there were several that she didn't yet know, but perhaps that would change by the end of the celebrations. Moving through the crowds silently, the princess came to stand next to Chesspieces, offering the medic trainee a friendly smile before turning her attention to her father. Truth or scare, huh? Normally such a game would put the femme off, but not tonight. It was halloween, and she was going to play all the games today. "Count me in," the hybrid called eagerly. She glanced around briefly, wondering who would step up to go first.

  • ・゚✦ SARANGEREL

    - sunclan . solar consort . goldenblood

"Welcome to SunClan, Chesspieces, Littlestar. I'm glad you could join us." Sarangerel greeted as she limped forwards, admiring the former's costume with a wide smile. She herself had dressed up rather unoriginally - a witch, but seeing as she was one, it suited her just fine. The femme wore a dark purple velvet hat, with a couple of tiny bells in the shape of stars hanging loosely from the pointy end.

Apart from that, Sarangerel hadn't done much else except paint swirls and stars on her pelt and wear little potion bottle necklaces.

Settling herself in beside Irene, Saran adjusted the choker on her neck and pricked her ears to hear what was being said. Truth or Scare? Her greatest fear was...well, not something that she hoped could ever be enacted, even for a game like this. If she got a turn, she'd certainly choose truth. She had little to hide anyway.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Jaelynn was not the type of individual to often play such games. She was, after all, a past Queen in her old home and a woman of stature in her current one. However, despite the busy political nature that so often surrounded her, the ivory wolf couldn't help but feel that just maybe it wouldn't be too bad to have a bit of fun. She didn't have to be all stoic business all of the time, right?

So, prowling in the little get together, the Lady of Seagard would offer a bow of her regal head in greeting, confidence paws guiding her into a place a short distance away from the others gathered. The woman had placed a crown of ice upon her head to compliment her wings of solid ice. A simple little costume, but one that the beauty enjoyed nonetheless.

  • A loud banging noise sounded, and there was a crack of lightning, a flash of smoke....and there was a dazed, strange looking creature on the ground. Wonderful. He wears cracked spectacles, a blue star necklace, and has some strange marking on his cheek. He sighs, coughs, and looks around. ¨Oh boy....where in Arceus´s name am I now...¨
