    His gaze lowered, "Of course." He responded with though of course he didn't plan to confront Aaron about it. He released a breath and figured to forget the subject all together, sure the man had shown his concerns towards him and has been nothing but kind though that doesn't cover Lance's envy over his position and the man himself. What was he even thinking.. "You won't tell him I asked?" He inquired, raising his eyes to Kelly.

  • Kelly’s grey eyes softened, “I-no. That would be a breach of doctor-patient confidentiality. What is said-and asked- stays in this room Lance.” Kelly responded. “That being said, is there anything you feel nessicary to discuss?Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the ship doesn’t seem to take mental health as seriously as physical health. I may not be a physiatrist but I can listen with an unbiased ear.” She offered as she finished dressing his wound.

    Kelly withdrew, still standing quite close, but her hands hung in the pocket of her lab coat. Her bland grey eyes studied Lance’s face for a notion of physical discomfort hoping his hand wouldn’t bother him for long. “I can give you a few painkillers since that’ll really start to hurt in few hours.” She added as a second hand thought.

    He nodded his head a bit relived that nothing would be mentioned, he looked to his now dressed hand. He chuckled lightly at what she said about the ship's concern primarily on physical health, "If the job can get done then nothing else matters." Lance stated. "That's what has been drilled into me, so that's how I view it as well." His eyes moved to Kelly when she spoke about later pains, "I guess we can cross that bridge when it happens."

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Autumn ( The Magician's Daughter )

    RolePlaying: Arabella walked over to Autumn "Autumn, let me take over. I don't need another injured employee." she motioned for her step aside, she then reached into her belt and pulled out a pair of welding gloves. She slipped them on and crouched down to inspect the damaged gun.

  • Thomas let out a sigh, a headache annoying his head. Opting to visit the clinic, Thomas popped in quietly. He didn’t particularly like Kelly, but she was fun to mess with. “Afternoon Ms. Nordstrom,” As an officer he knew all about her name change. Kelly looked at him blankly, “That’s Doctor Nordstrom.” She corrected, an uncommon tone for her voice. “Ah-right. Dr. Nordstrom.” Thomas responded, “Anyway, I have a headache so,” Kelly nodded turning from Lance to retrieve a painkiller for Thomas.

    Thomas waited until she was close enough to grip her wrist and bring her hand to his head, “Ah, look doc you got me all hot and bothered, think it’s a fever?” He asked, pouting slightly as he let her go. He chuckled at the look of mortification on Kelly’s face. Even if Thomas’s flirting was harmless, Kelly couldn’t tell. Kelly looked terribly uncomfortable,” I’ll get a thermometer.” She muttered back. “Chill out, Kells, it was just a joke.” Thomas explained with a warm smile that would’ve been enough to melt any girls heart. Kelly was not like most girls and merely blinked it away, her lip curling in confusion as she retrieved the thermometer anyway. The dark-haired Doctor would’ve been a pretty woman had she not looked so frail all of the time. She turned back and offered the thermometer to Thomas. “Seriously Kells, can’t you take a joke?” He asked, annoyed with her seeming obliviousness.

    “No. I can’t. I do not take the health of the crew as a joke.” Kelly responded, “Please call me by Kelly or Dr. Nordstrom.” Kelly reprimanded. “Kells is not my name and thus is deemed inappropriate for the workplace. Please remain professional whilst you are in my care.” Thomas snorted, his temperature normal. “You know doc, you should really get out more. Maybe the next time we dock somewhere you should let me take you out on the town-“ Kelly cut him off. “If you are propositioning me to go on a date with you I am sorry to tell you that I do not date my patients.” Thomas looked annoyed, “What about Andrew? He’s not your patient, what do y’all do up here all day anyway? Bet you’d let him-“

    Kelly made a point to clear her throat. “Andrew is a colleague of mine and a professional one at that. To assume anything else happens here other than medical practice is extremely insulting to me and him.” Kelly answered, her kind face held no anger or annoyance. For Kelly, people who asked questions didn’t bother her and while others may find Thomas’s behavior inappropriate, Kelly couldn’t tell that he was trying to get under her skin. “Since you seem in perfect health, here’s your medication, Thomas.” Kelly offered him a clear baggy with two white pills in them. “I don’t know, Kells, I think I’m feeling a little faint.” Thomas whined dramatically. “Then you may lay down on the cot.” Kelly answered.

    “My apologies for the interruption, Mr. Becking. This is a rather busy day.” Kelly responded when she turned back to Lance. “Take two of these every four hours for pain. I’m going to put you on an antibiotic just to be sure it doesn’t get infected. Start it tomorrow. One in the morning, one at night for a week. Take it with a meal, okay? It could potentially make you nauseous if you don’t.” Kelly patted his knee in a friendly manner before moving away.

    He watched Thomas as he came in to stir a bit of trouble with Kelly though the doctor let it all roll off like water running off a duck's back, seeming oblivious to his flirts and attempts to get under her skin. He suppressed an eye roll as he continued to watch the scene before him, regardless of his position it didn't mean he had to like the way he acted sometimes. "It's quite alright." Lance assured her as he accepted the medication he had been given. "Thank you, Doctor Nordstrom." He smiled to her and the friendly gesture before his eyes had shifted to the officer in the room. "I hope you know what your trying won't work, sir. You should be proud to have such an unmovable doctor onboard." He commented to him.

  • “Whatever dude, just cause she’s got a stick up her a** doesn’t mean you should too.” Thomas countered, obviously annoyed. He turned on his side, his headache easing slightly.

    Kelly gave Lance a polite smile, “Of course, it was my pleasure.” She chimed. His kind words pleased her, as did the proper use of the title she had earned. Kelly wasn’t entirely sure what he meant though, had she missed something? Trying something? Hm. “Thank you, Lance. I believe I can handle a curious patient though.” She chuckled. After all in Kelly’s eyes that’s all Lance was. A curious male who had shown natural intrest in the opposite sex due to the fact so few worked on ship.

    He kept an amused smirk off his face by the officer's response, he looked to Kelly when she said she could handle it from there and he knew she could fend for herself so he stood up. "Of course." He smiled, "I'll try not to be back too soon." He added on, before making his way out with the medicine in his hands. Lanced headed out to the bunks so he could store his stuff away until he needed it then he'd have to figure out what to do with himself.

    After having put his items away he sat on his bunk, feeling a bit useless at the moment as he had been relieved of his duties due to his injury. He looked to his bandaged hand, he hoped for not too long. Lance sighed and stared up to the ceiling of the area, he hated the feeling of lack of duty. He stood up off his bed and decided to walk about the air vessel.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Character ( Username )

    RolePlaying: Arabella finished off with the gun and gathered Lances tools. Getting up slowly, a hand over her side, she began to walk over the the ladder below deck. On of the gears in her side had stuck and was causing her some pain. She gingerly climbed down the ladder and set lances tools on the desk. She grabbed her own tool box and staggered into her cabin shutting the door firmly behind her. She placed the toolbox and the bed and loosed her tie hastily, her skin had gone pale and clammy. She unbuttoned her shirt and moved her binding. Her side was encased in glass. It was a was a mass of cogs, pipes and wires, they shuddered and jarred as they tried to move. Working quickly she removed the glass casing and work into free the stuck cog. The mechanism shuddered free and she bit down to prevent herself from crying out.

    The captain made his way out of the board room, he had a sense of duty to check up on Arabella from time to time. He had known her father way back in the day and had became someone the man could confide to, to this day Tyson hadn't told a soul what he knew as respected the wishes of a dead man and his daughter. He came up to the lead engineer's quarters, lightly knocking on the door with his knuckles. "Aaron, you here?" He asked.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Captain Tyson ( Peeve Factor )

    RolePlaying: Arabella looked down at the binding the wrapped her chest. It covered her adequately, it had to. She had hopwed if she ever was caught in a state like this she could still be mistaken a a man. She made an affirmative grunt to the door, signalling that he could come in. She gently picked up the glass casing and gingerly began screwing back in place.

    He stepped in when he heard a grunt approving of him to enter, "Thought I'd come by and check on you." He said and closed the door behind him. Tyson watched Arabella work with the glass casing, "Everything okay?" he asked her.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Captain Tyrone ( Peeve Factor )

    RolePlaying: Arabella glanced up at Tyrone "Stuck gear, its fine for now but i really need a replacement." She sighed, and finished reattaching the casing. She grabbed her shirt and shrugged it on. She started buttoning it up. "What do you need, Captain?" She flicked up her collar to hide the mark of the Zebulons that was scorched onto her neck. She slipped on her tie and tightened it around her through. She tucked in her shirt and adjusted the boning inside. She sighed in relief. The ticking and methodical thump of her heart resounded softly through the room.

    "We'll look around at the next port." Tyson suggested for her need for a new gear. He crossed his arms and released a breath, his eyes drifted to one side of the room. "You're managing to keep everything under wraps?" He knew he always asked her this but he was concerned that one day there'll be an irreversible slip up that she can't undo.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Captain Tyson ( Peeve Factor )

    RolePlaying: "If your suggesting if anyone knows anything, they don't. But I've been thinking" she hesitated sitting down on the bed. "I think I'm going to tell Kelly." She stated quickly, looking up at the captain
