    Interaction: Autumn ( The Magician's Daughter )

    He nodded his head his gaze turning back to his hand as he tried shaking it out to rid it of the pain, which was a stupid idea but he did so anyways. "If you have any trouble Aaron should be back soon, think he had a small cut or something." He shrugged none too concerned with the lead engineer, "I'll be back as soon as I can too." He said before exiting and making his way to the med bay.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Kelly ( BattyLeBat )

    RolePlaying: Arabella kept a straight face as she took a step away from the medic, she turned and rises the blood off her hand she and patted it dry with her rag. The bleeding had stopped but the cut was angry and raw. Arabella turned back the the medic, making sure to stay a bit further away than before.

    Chatting:

  • “I’m sorry, did I make you uncomfortable?” Kelly asked, it came from a place of genuine concern because Kelly honestly couldn’t read Arabella’s face. “I did not mean to stare at you, you have a very pretty face.” She told him as she applied the disinfectant. “Of course as a male you must prefer handsome. Few things are as fragile as a man’s ego.”

    Kelly was rambling at this point, something she was prone too, and though her voice had a tone of excitement, her face was still and rather plain.

    As soon as she was finished cleaning it, Kelly looked dissatisfied. “A small stitch or two would be the best course of treatment, but if needles scare you a bandaid will suffice as long as you keep it dry and clean. I do not want to deal with an infection.” Kelly added. As an engineer, dirty hands were almost a promise of the job and Kelly could only hope ‘Aaron’ would take her warning serious.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Kelly ( BattyLeBat )

    RolePlaying: Arabella blinked rapidly in surprise, Kelly found her pretty? Hmm she might have to invest some more time into her facade. "I don't mind needles, as long as i can use my hands." Arabella said politely, the voice box working against her throat. Arabella reached up to adjust it, it was digging into her throat and buzzing insistently. She did her best to hide her discomfort.

    He stopped at the entrance of the med bay noticing Aaron talking with Kelly, "Knock, knock." He said mocking a knocking but not actually touching the entry way frame with his uninjured hand. Lance favored his injured hand against his stomach, refusing to acknowledge the pain for the time being in the lead engineer's presence. "You all good?" He asked.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Lance Becking ( Peeve Factor )

    RolePlaying: Arabella looked round at Lance, her brow furrowed "What happened?" she asked, looking down at his cradled hand. She could see the familiar black spotting of a burn on his hand. "Ouch. What on earth did you do?" She asked, concern lacing her voice.

    He glanced down at his hand, "Gun 2's jam was caused by a melted lacquer fouling from the ammunition." He reported and moved his hand behind his back, returning his eyes to Aaron. "Don't worry, Autumn is cleaning out the rest while I'm here. I'll reassemble it as soon as possible." He said, completely disregarding the other man's concern.

  • Arabella Cogsworth || Lance Becking ( Peeve Factor )

    RolePlaying: "Ammunition Fouling? That could either be a problem with out supplier or the storage of the bullets." Arabella pondered, rubbing her forehead with her free hand. "ill check the storage personally considering we cant deal with the supplier until we land." Arabella stated, she was ashamed, she should have checked out the gun personally, now He was hurt. She had failed to keep her employees safe in their work environment.

    Chatting:

  • Kelly nodded and turned her back to Aaron for a moment, “Is your throat irritated?” She asked as she pulled a needle and stitching thread from the first aid kit. When Lance arrived Kelly let out an irritated sigh, but took Aaron’s momentary distraction as an advantage and closed the wound with speed and precision. It was only two small stitches but they did their job well. She sprayed a numbing agent on the wound and wrapped a flesh toned band-aid around it. “I’m serious when I say keep it dry.” She quipped.

    Kelly turned to Lance, listening to their conversation quickly became boring. Engineering didn’t intrest her. Cutting people open and removing things interested her. Unfortunately for Kelly, the wound didn’t seem severe enough to require surgery. Which she would’ve been totally qualified to do. Clearing her throat, Kelly tapped Aaron’s lap as a way to tell him to move. “I should probably soak that for a minute.” She sounded irritated, “Have either of you seen Andrew? Burns are his speciality, not mine.” She was more irritated at the fact everyone seemed to be getting hurt now. When she was the only doctor where she was supposed to be.

    Moving like a busy little bee, Kelly let out a hum and moved across the room, getting a bit of ice from the cooler and dropping it into the sink which she filled with like-warm water until the ice faded. “Hand in there. That’ll numb a bit so I can treat it, alright?” She ordered, taking a seat on the counter next to the sink. Her dull grey eyes watching him with full expectations.

    He nodded his head in response to what Aaron had said, his attention shifted to Kelly when he realized he probably had interrupted her from taking care of Aaron. "I haven't seen him, his sister had sent me to look for him for that reason." He responded to the women. Lance did as he was told, placing his injured hand into the sink. He involuntarily shuddered from the cold water but kept it there.

    Arabella Cogsworth || Lance Becking + Kelly ( Peeve Factor   BattyLeBat )

    RolePlaying: Arabella moved to let Kelly past, "Thank you Kelly, Without you the ship would definitely fall to pieces." Arabella smiled, complimenting the skilled medic. She hadn't even felt the stitches. She flexed her hand, she felt the slight resistance that the stitches caused. She glanced round at Lance "Take the day off, can't risk you permanently damaging your hand." She stated, before nodding her head to Kelly in thanks and leaving the Medical bay. She walked over to Gun 2.

    Chatting:

  • “Your words are noted.” Kelly replied in her excited monotone. “He is correct though, you’re lucky it didn’t burn straight to the bone.” Kelly reprimanded. “Do they not require you to wear protective clothing when dealing with a-” Kelly paused thinking of the word. “Blow torch-thing?” She decided. She pulled a few things down from the cabinet and from the first aid kit. Kelly felt like a glorified nurse, but she enjoyed what she did. After all, the men she usually dealt with were nice enough.

    Kelly inspected all of the products she planned to use, setting them on her desk in a very organized way. She licked her pale lips as she inspected a small tube of basic lidocaine. “Do you have an allergies to medication? Any history of addiction?” She asked, glancing at his hand. She was tempted to call it a third degree burn, but it’s size and the fact she hadn’t yet identified it put her at second degree. Which was still serious, but wouldn’t call for a surgery.

    He whipped his head to Aaron, opening his mouth in protest to having the day off though his protest would've fallen to deaf ears as the lead engineer had already made his way out. His shoulder's sagged slightly as Kelly repeated the same, his eyes going to her now. "They do I just had forgotten the gloves." He said to her. He watched her pull things from the cabinet, "No ma'am, none." Lance answered her.

  • "You should be more vigilant in the future. Hopefully this will remind you next time." Kelly replied with a chuckle. She put a hand into the cool water and pulled his hand up, examining the color of the wound. Luckily, the residue was easy to remove once it had been in the cool water. Her lip twitched as she picked up a paper towel and dabbed at his wound, her grip on his wrist tight enough that if he recoiled she wouldn't let go. Once it was dry, Kelly put some lidocaine infused with aloe on it. "That should numb the pain a bit so I can really clean it out. I'll probably have to remove some dead skin, but at worst it's barely a third degree burn."

    "Injuries are hard to avoid in my field of work." He said almost smartly though he was set to place when he felt pain from her when she dabbed his wound, he flinched but didn't pull his hand away. He watched Kelly as she worked and he nodded his head to what she had said. "Do you enjoy your job?" Lance asked, honestly curious.

  • Kelly glanced back at Lance as though she was considering his question. “I do.” She answered, “It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it.” She replied simply as she waited for the numbing agent to take effect. “Can you feel this?” She asked, touching the area near the wound. At most he should have only felt her hand, not the pain or pressure other wise.

    Kelly didn’t enjoy small talk, even though she constantly rambled. Her inability to pick up on social cues sometimes made small talk uncomfortable as she often asked too many questions and became annoying. “What about you, Mr. Becking? Do you enjoy what it is you do?” She asked as she picked up some tweezers and a small pair of scissors.

    He nodded his head at her response then tensed up when she asked if he could feel her touch, he expected a pain to flare from the touch though that wasn't the case. His shoulders relaxed, "I feel your hand but not really any pain." Lance said to Kelly. His eyes warily watched her pick up her tools and he tried remaining as still as stone when he spoke, "I do, I find it to be satisfying work. Injuries just being memories of such." He mused. "I'll try to not to get too many more though." He added with a smile, he would've chuckled but he didn't want to move too much.

  • Kelly chuckled, her cold hands were precise and extremely still. Her eyes were focused as she removed dead skin and such. “Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful.” Kelly responded. “Not that I mind your company, I just don’t want to see you more than I should.” She chuckled to ease his nerves.

    She knew people could get uncomfortable around her easily, just because she missed things and didn’t think like others didn’t mean she was completely stupid.

    "Fair enough." There was amusement in his voice. His eyes glanced to the entry way to the med bay before his gaze returned to Kelly. "How has Aaron been?" he asked, lowering his tone slightly so not to be overheard just in case someone walked in. "I mean like mentally after.. Y'know."

  • Kelly’s face seemed to harden. As if Lance had something wrong, “My apologies, Mr. Becking, but I am not at liberty to discuss the condition of other my patients to anyone other than medical staff. To do so would betray the trust of my patients and be terribly unprofessional.” She answered in a hardened voice, a ghost of her usual monotone. It was easy to forget that all Kelly saw was patients. She didn’t stop being a doctor and start being a friend. “I am a doctor not a physiatrist. I can mend broken bones but minds take time. If you are concerned for your coworker I suggest asking them yourself.”

    Kelly knew Lance hadn’t met to intrude, but Kelly didn’t know how Aaron would feel about his personal business being spread about to those in his command. “The worse that will happen is that Aaron will choose not to disclose such information to you.” She told Lance as she began dressing his wound.
