  • ♥ ― Araceli had laid out the former co-Crown's body as best as she knew how, trying her best to make Chloris look like she was only sleeping. Bunches of roses spilled over the femme's body, placed on a low, narrow table, and draped down to the ground, while bouquets more were placed around the room. She'd invited all of their allies to come pay a tribute to their fallen leader, and now that it was close to nightfall she had only to wait. She still didn't know how Chloris had died. The leader had been in good health as far she knew, and there'd been no enemy scent nearby. Regardless though, Chloris was dead, and Araceli was still inexperienced as a leader. Far too inexperienced, maybe, but for right now she was the only leader the Sanctum had.

  • the male didn't know chloris well since he recently joined, but it wouldn't stop him from coming to the female's funeral. saffron eyes rested on the deceased feline, taking in the unnatural stillness due to the body no longer containing the soul belonging to the now former leader, and glanced at araceli. it must be hard for her since it was clear she was a child and the duties of a leader were not to be taken lightly. shoulders rolled themselves as the slate gray smilodon stood a few inches away from the younger leader and attempted to give her a gentle nudge with his nose. "while it might be hard to be on your own remember that everyone else is here for you." cool words came from the large predator in attempt to easy an hidden anxiety ara held deep within side. he, himself, had lead a clan, but that was long ago and the clan was no longer to be found. ( it hurts to know solsticeclan, the place he cared about more than any other clan, vanished into nothingness. perhaps it was for the best, but it doesn't mean he will accept the fate of the clan any time soon. ) still, heoruwulf had no problem with offering some words of advice to push the sanctum in the right direction, yet.... a small part of him wondered what had been on his son's mind when appointing someone so young to power. all he can hope was it was a good reason and shifted away from the girl and bowed his head in the direction of chloris, murmuring a few prayers under his breath.

  • Shine hadn't received an opportunity to grow closer to Chlorisroses, to know her better as a friend. And it was too late to do so now; she had passed on, either to reincarnate or move on to the next life. Whatever that life would be- he knew that Chrloris had a belief in some sort of gods or goddesses. Hopefully her belief would lead her spirit to where she wanted to be.

The Riverclan Captain arrived quietly, a sad look on his face. He hated having to see his friends die. Having to go on through life without them. Time and time again Shining marched on; it'd be no different today. Keep pressing forward, on to the future. No other choice, no other option. Shining took a quick glance over the body- he didn't want to look at it too long- before stepping aside to allow the others a chance.
