Taern smiles, “Neither can I,” He said quietly and then closed his eyes as well

Dya smiled and relaxed happily into him, her eyes remaining closed.

He shifted awake after an hour and looked around. It was still quiet and peaceful

Dya remained asleep at his side, her arms looped around him.

Taern sighed softly, letting her rest. She probably didn’t get much sleep

Dya slept peacefully with him, her nightmares unable to trouble her with her prince at her side.

Taern settles back down and closed his eyes, finding peace being there with her

Dya nuzzled gently into his neck, her breathing steady. In sleep she had no worries of being caught.

Taern settled back down to sleep, sleeping soundly with her there

Dya didn't wake up until the following morning.

Taern woke up a few minutes after her and he looked around, “morning,” he said with a smile

Dya kissed his cheek softly. "Morning..."

“Did you sleep well?” He asked her softly

Dya nodded slightly. "The best I have in a while." She murmured.

Taern smiled and yawned a bit, “the same with me,” he spoke softly to her

Dya sighed softly with a smile. "Do you think I could make them believe I'm getting over the prince with you?"

He gave a soft snort but then nodded “I believe that could work,” he smiled to her, liking the idea

Dya smiled back at him. "Then we can be together without as much danger..."

"Yeah, I like your plan. Better than mine would've been," he admitted shyly
