The Companions are an elite group of noble warriors who fight for the protection and freedom of those around them and within their walls. The purpose of the group was to always create noble warriors who would be able to go face to face with evil itself and clash its force to ashes alongside their brothers and sisters in arms. Any cat can be a companion, as long as they seek adventure and kinship. Once you are a companion, you are always a companion, and you are always kin.
HARBINGER
Harbingers duties are not meant to lead, but instead to help guide the Companions in the right direction. They were chosen by their ancestors who walked the ground before them to lead. Although if a dying Harbinger has a chance to announce who they would chose to succeed them before their last dying breath, said cat would be the one who would get to succeed them.
Harbingers main duties are to decline or accept loners and rogues who desire to join the Companions, settle disputes between members of the companions or disputes with other groups, and provide wisdom and advice among the Companions.
ADVISER
Advisers are in no way shape or form second in commands, and are not necessarily going to be the next Harbinger, but instead they will help the Harbinger make choices if needed. If the Harbinger is busy or away and cats need immediate help, the Adviser is now the ones who help them. Once the Harbinger dies in most cases the Adviser is once again only a warrior among the Companions. Harbingers have the right to pick a new Adviser, although they can also decide to keep the same Adviser if they wish.
HEAD HUNTER / HUNTRESS
The Head Hunter or Huntress is usually the best current hunter in the group. This rank does not give them any extra power but instead responsibilities. It is their job to let the Harbinger know if there is a prey shortage and any unusual activities among prey. They are also the ones responsible of making sure there is enough food for the Companions, and that patrols are taken out whenever more are needed.
The Head Hunter has a secured spot in their rank for eight moons, after that eight moons they may be challenge for their position by a cat who believes they are a better hunter, and the goal is to catch the most prey as possible in the cleanest way. Prey with sloppy killing does not count in this competition.
Although if you challenge a Head Hunter or Huntress, be careful as if you lose you will never be able to challenge them again for another twenty-seven moons. Only one cat may challenge a Hunter or Huntress every six moons.
HEAD FIGHTER
The head Fighter is usually the best current fighter in the group. This rank does not give them any extra power but instead responsibilities. It is their job to let the Harbinger know if there is any unusual scents within their territory, any unwanted pests like badgers or foxes, any freshly made dens, any disputes along the borders with any other group, or other threats that may be smelt, seen, or heard. They are the ones responsible for leading and taking out at least two patrols a day.
The Head Fighter has a secured spot in their rank for eight moons, after that eight moons they can be challenge for their position by a cat who believes they are a better fighter. The goal is to pin the opposing cat down for ten seconds at least three times before the other cat reaches that goal. The use of claws and biting will not be allowed, and any extra injuries found on a cat after a pin will cause the pin not to count. Although be wary as if you lose you will not be able to challenge a Head Fighter for another twenty-seven moons. Only one cat may challenge a Head Fighter once every six moons.
WARRIORS
Warriors of the Companions are those who have been trained to be able to create peace and only fight when absolutely needed. These are the warriors that protect those of lower rankings within the Companions and follow the wisdom of those with higher positions. This ranking is beyond the most important ranking in the group, and without warriors the Companions would be no more.
STUDENTS
Students are cats who were born into the Companions and have reached the appropriate age of eight moons to be trained, or are cats who have shown interest in the group, were accepted, and are now getting trained to be a Companion. Students will receive their own mentor and will do and listen to what they say. They are trained to learn the ways of the Companions, and whenever the Harbinger believes they are ready they will receive their ranking as a Warrior and their full name.
MOTHERS
Mothers are the Queens of the Companions, she-cats who are currently expecting kits and will return back to their duties after they have finished nursing.
KITS
Kits are members of the Companions who are under the age of eight moons old. Often times being nursed by one of the Mothers.

North/East/South/West Border Checks - Places border patrols must check off each day.
1. Once a Companion, always a Companion, do not betray or abandoned your shield brothers and sisters.
2. Always take the Harbinger and the Advisers wisdom to heart, although you very well do not have to listen to their advice.
3. Kits, Mothers, and the injured may eat before the rest.
4. If you leave the Companions or betray the Companions you are not allowed back, as you have taken rule number one lightly.
5. Peace before war, words before claws.
6. Lead Hunters and Huntresses and lead Fighters may only be challenged once every six moons.
7. When any cats are in need, help them get back on their paws.
8. You don't have to live by the code to fulfill a happy life, all together as Companions you all make the rules, agree on them, and follow them.
IC RULES AND INFO
- No OOC fighting
-All big plots must go through me before they are able to be played.
- Try and create plots that will effect everyone, boring love triangles that point and give attention only to three people is boring to the rest of us.
- If you are a HP please note that chances are in return you may not have as much big plots evolved around you. Although you can make another character who is not a HP and possibly have a big plot revolved around you and others as well.
- Don't challenge the Lead Hunter/Huntress or Lead Fighter without the owners permission, although if after awhile and the same person still has that rank, I have the right to make it a free for all and anyone can challenge you and win if it is fair. (Of course I will let you know if that is starting to become an option for me first.)
- Remember that Advisers are not second in command, and Harbingers are not exactly the leaders. The Companions believe they are only there to help guide the group.
- No traditional clan names please, maybe a few acceptations if they have to do with plots.
- When a cat is born they are given a name. For example Avalon. They will keep this shorter name until they reach the ranking of a warrior, then the Harbinger will finish off you name with something such as "Avalon the Great", or "Avalon the Kind". As you can tell my explaining is pretty terrible, so if you have any questions let me know.
- I'm afraid I am not holding any rankings, sorry.
- If you track please make sure you just edit that post and put your forms there, I want to keep the sign-ups only related to signing up as much as possible.
- You may post in the thread to tell me you are done, but as soon as I accept please delete that post.
-No mini modding please.
PLEASE ADD A SPOILER TO YOUR FORM!
