  • Val loved art. It wasn't often that he got his paws on paint, but there were plenty of other ways to be creative. His favorites included drawing with his claws in the sand or stacking stones into towers and all sorts of scenes. His wandering mind could spend hours doing any one of these things. Not only that, but each of Valemon's 'masterpieces' usually came with a story. No, that wasn't just a few lines and circles in the sand, that was a happy lizard who'd taken a journey through the forest and met a friendly hawk. Those piles of rocks weren't just that; that one was Sekai, that one himself, that one his daddy, and there was one for each of his close friends, like Lessa, Obscuro, Shining, Kha, Guil, Ninja and many more. In his mind, they were all taking an adventure in the jungles where they saw all sorts of cool things and they never got lost or separated.

Today, though, Lessa had told him to set up a painting session. So, the cub had managed to bother an NPC long enough until they gave him a half dozen paints and brushes. Then, they had helped carry them to the red beach, Val's most favorite place. The young Skywalker thanked them and waved goodbye as the NPC trudged off to go back to his nap. The rest he did on his own. He gathered some stones like the ones he built with, which took him quite awhile. But, he was determined to collect enough for everyone. A few hours and an impromptu game of chase the frog later, he had managed to assemble a large pile of stones for his clanmates to paint on. Everything finally looked to be in order. Now came perhaps the worst part. Waiting.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Kha was the first here it seemed, padding over, the white eyed dragon looked at the various stone before sitting in front of one with a smile to Val "ah, painting session yeah?" given the set up that'd be quite obvious.

  • Agni had ironically arrived at a painting session, and decided, why not. She worried about burning the paper, but decided oh well. "I-I'd like to paint." The child stated, sitting down creating a patch of burnt sand where she was at.

  • Vindicate padded over to the scene, originally he had been drawn here simply because he wanted to watch the tide come in and go out. Although now it would appear that his plan would have to change, as cub Valemon seemed to be cooking up something on the beach. From the paints, it would appear that the dark dragon Khabeleth was right guessing the cub's intentions. Unless of course, the cub planned to use all that pain by himself, which seemed doubtful to the winged blue tabby.

Although Vin hardly had any intention to participate, he thought he might as well watch. He didn't really have much better to do right now and he had to admit that his painting skills sucked. Perhaps Aurora would have found some interest in what the cub was doing, as she was always drawing in the notebook of hers. He himself though had never really gotten into art himself.

  • *:・゚✦ ELIZABETH SWANN *:・゚✦

Well she wasn't much of an artist, especially when it came to painting, but there was no harm in giving it a go. "Nice pile of rocks." She commented lightly before Elizabeth sauntered over, brushing off any sand that was clinging to her wet legs. "I'd be up for painting some sh-Stuff." She added before plopping next to Kha.

  • Val was extremely glad his friend, Kha, would be painting with him. Perhaps, with him here, the cub could actually paint a picture of the dragon. Any other time he tried, he forgot what exactly Kha looked like. After offering the other a nod, he turned to everyone else that had appeared. Two of them were unfamiliar and also looked rather curious, the way the one burned what she touched and the other with his blue fur and wings. After a moment of staring, he smiled at them both, happy to paint with two new friends. The last was Elizabeth, someone he recognized but didn't know well. Still, this looked like quite enough people so far and it would surely be a blast!

First, he would pick out stones from his pile for each of them, making sure they were perfect, with as little amount of cracks and dirt as possible. Once they were placed in front of each individual - along with a brush - Val gestured with a paw to the paints that were scattered around the area. "Paint!" It was probably obvious beforehand, but the cub wanted to be positive everyone knew what was going on. He himself selected a container of black paint and a fairly large, smooth stone. Then, because he was never one for brushes, he dipped the tip of his paw into the paint. Wait, he should probably ask Khabeleth before he painted him. After all, he remembered what Luke had told him once. Always ask for permission. "Paint Kha?" he questioned, looking at his friend.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Khabeleth tipped his head in thanks for his rock - he wasn't sure what he'd paint to be quite sure, but perhaps something for mom? hm, that sounded like a good idea, perhaps a nice painting of something serene in nature what with the troubles in Hawkclan - something soothing to look at might be good - that in mind he collected his paints and brush, and settled down, musing on what to draw.

he was brought back out of his musings when Val addressed a question to him, the black dragon glancing down beside him - oh Val wanted to paint him? well he didn't mind "Sure, if you want Val" he offered his friend a smile.

  • Creativity in art... Shining wondered how some creatures could create beautiful artworks in no time at all. He struggled with such crafts- as he always had. The tom was probably about as skillful as Valemon when it came to drawing lines and circles. But it was all in the meaning, beyond the surface of the canvas. "Oh!" Shining said, upon arriving to see what was going on. "Could I have a stone and some paint as well, Valemon?" He asked of the cub, thinking in the back of his mind on what exactly he would try to paint.
