  • This is a 1x1, private version of my basic idea. This time: It revolves around a dragon {My Character} and their child {Your Character}. Their relationship is okay, yet slightly dysfunctional to a degree. And then some form of shenanigans happen.

You can choose the parent/My Character from this list:

Tell me which one(s) peak your interest and I'll explain them in better detail. So you'll be able to pick.

There can/will be special plot points. Some depend on the parent, others do not. I'll give them to you, also, to help with your choice.

There will also be a 'prologue'; Showing Y/C as a newborn or very young dragonet. Depends.

On top of Your Character, you shall portray NPCs as well.

  • About Mammoth:

    About Manek:

A plot that fits these two is that of Y/C being half-NightWing. Although that's up to you.

  • (( Alright! I'll go ahead and go for that half-NightWing plot since I guess it might open up some more possibilities in the future

    Name: Shatter

    Gender: Female

    Age: Seven years

Appearance: Shatter is noticeably smaller than the average dragon her age, and she takes more after her mother. A majority of her body is covered with black scales tinted with silver at the tips of them. She has the white IceWing spikes going down her neck and her back and they stop at the end of her tail. Her facial structure and wings resemble more of a NightWing's, and the underside of her wings wings are black with the silver scales scattered across them, but faded white markings are also present on her wings, making it look like a clouded night sky.

Personality: Shatter is a bit of an energetic dragon, always out to look for adventure. She tends to annoy other dragons (though it's likely she has the intention to) and she is full of endless wit. However, Shatter is rather clever and she is a quick thinker, which can help her get out of trouble some time after she gets herself into it. ))

  • Alright! The prologue has My Character at Y/C's hatching alongside their mother.

There is a constant plot in each of my parent-child dragon threads. Based off a video game character (Sindel):

  • (( Sure! If it's not quite what you expected then feel free to tell me! ))

Starstreaker was currently with her mate, Mammoth, right below a night sky. She hadn't been feeling well in the past couple of days...or, well, okay, she was sick, but Starstreaker wasn't about to miss her own dragonet's hatching tonight. Starstreaker had already been planning on a few names and she was eager to see what her dragonet would look like. She gave Mammoth an eager grin. "Our dragonet's going to be beautiful, don't you think so?" she asked.

  • "I wholeheartedly agree." The large, normally blank-faced IceWing had a smile on his face, as well. A small one, but it still mattered. His...Their dragonet would be hatching tonight.

The pair traveled under the tundra's night sky. Both of them on their way to the rocky cavern Starstreaker and himself called 'home' for the past year. Mammoth claimed to his fellow tribemates that he was working on a project that required a year-long absence. No one in the Kingdom had any idea of Starstreaker's existence.

Although that would, in a way, change tonight. After the hatching, Mammoth would care for their child temporarily. Starstreaker would return to her kingdom and, when the time came, send word for him to bring the dragonet.

  • Starstreaker smiled warmly at him, and then her ears pricked as she heard a small crack coming from the egg. She eagerly looked toward the egg. The shell was cracking, cracking, cracking, and then soon enough of the egg shell was broken off to reveal black scales. Starstreaker peered a little bit closer at the hatching dragonet as it pushed its way out of the egg.

  • Mammoth entered behind Starstreaker. In fact, he let his mate go first. He jumped a bit when he expression changed from a warm, sweet smile to sudden alertness. The IceWing assumed, for a split second, someone or something had followed the two. But then he realized it was something more alarming: The egg was hatching now.

He moved almost as fast as Starstreaker did. But upon being closer to the egg, he moved slowly around it. Almost in fear of breaking it or harming the hatchling with one touch.

  • Soon, the dragonet made her way outside of the egg. Starstreaker immediately loved her. The newborn dragonet had black scales with silver tips at the edges, and she had her father's IceWing spikes going down her neck and back, and Starstreaker could see that the underside of her wings looked like a NightWing's but with faded white markings on them. The dragonet let out a small squeak and Starstreaker gently picked her up, staring down at her daughter lovingly.

  • Mammoth approached his mate and newborn child. He took a better look at the freshly-hatched dragonet. The scales were a dead giveaway to their heritage. But did that bother him? Not entirely. He did feel concern over how the others, the ones he left in the dark, would react. And how they would treat the child.

"Are they a male? Or a female?" Mammoth inquired. Either way: They looked stunning.

  • "She's a girl," Starstreaker smiled at Mammoth. The tiny dragonet looked up and she reached up toward her mother's face and patted her cheek. Starstreaker let out a small chuckle and the small dragonet let out a coo. "One of these days she's going to shatter some expectations, huh?" Starstreaker said.

  • Mammoth nodded his head, going temporarily speechless. His brain still attempting to catch up with all the excitement. He was...Well, overwhelmed. "Oh, no doubt." He was genuine in saying this. He had no doubt the dragonet would do good. Starstreaker's mere statement even gave him an idea for their daughter's name. "She could go on to do great things."

  • "Mhmm," Starstreaker nodded. She removed her gaze from the tiny dragonet and looked over toward Mammoth. "Do you have any idea for a name?" she asked. "I mean, not that I don't have any ideas, but I just wanted to hear you out first."

  • "Shatter."

Mammoth blurted out the idea. It had only just came to him. The more cynical would gladly believe the normally quite intelligent dragon was slipping. His brain had always worked in mysterious ways. "I-It would be meaningful. In some form." he stammered, before clearing his throat.

"Although her name will have to be approved." As was tradition. Queen Eirwen would have to approve or deny the dragonet's new name. But that was the least of their problems.

  • Starstreaker smiled at him. "Sure thing," she said. Shatter looked up at her parents and stuck out her tongue, reaching for her father. Starstreaker held Shatter a little bit closer to Mammoth and Shatter held the tip of her father's snout.
