Set in Moorclan... Lemonkit is a walking bad omen.
Lemonkit awoke next to Sunkit, her littermate, and pawed him playfully to wake him up. None of the other cats seemed to like her, but her brother did!

The silvery-gray medicine cat walked over to Lemonkit. "Hello, Lemonkit. I came in to check on how your mother was doing, but I guess she's out for a walk, huh?" She smiled at the orange she-kit.
Lemonkit nodded to the silver med cat. "Yeah, she'll be back soon, though! How are you?" She smiled playfully, grabbing a mossball to bat while talking to her. "I had a dream. There was a big, scary cat, and he was scary, and he chased me everywhere!"
"You did, huh? What did he look like? A fox or badger?" She playfully growled at the kit, imitating a badger. Silently, she regretted her choice to become a medicine cat - but what choice did she have? A blind cat couldn't hunt, or fight. But she'd always wanted little ones, like Lemonkit and Sunkit.
"He was as big as a badger, but all white, with a torn ear, and big teeth!" He kind of reminded the kit of someone, but she couldn't remember who.. "He was kind of familiar." She batted the moss ball between her two paws absent-mindedly. Her brothter was starting to rouse, but the yellow kit didn't care.
"Hmmm... Sounds familiar... I couldn't tell you who, though. Maybe a cat you've seen before?" She turned her unseeing gaze to the she-kitt. Judging by the sound, she managed to grab the moss ball and toss it back. "You must be bored, with your brother sleeping the day away. Why don't we play a little game? Pass the moss ball back and forth."
//Sunkit can be a npc unless someone wants to adopt him...//
Lemonkit wasn't sure how the blind cat was going to catch her mossball, but agreed, and rolled it back to the silver she-. "Probably! Or maybe in another dream."
She listened for the mossball, and caught it with one claw. "If you have the same dreams more than once, maybe they're signs. If you have it again, please tell me, okay?" She tossed it back to the kit, laughing at the sounds of her scrambling to reach it.
//Your cat is currently nameless.//
The ball slipped right between the yellow kit's paws, and she had to scramble to get it. "Okay! I will!" She tossed it back, but it instead landed on her sleeping brother. She picked it back up and tried again, this time managing to actually get it to the silver med-cat.
//Oh, she is? Huh. I meant to name her Cloudfeather.
//Cool!
//is it okay if I "adopt" sunkit? I haven't RPed here in a long time and want to return to it//
Of course!
//yay! Thank you!//
Sunkit watched the ball be tossed back and forth between his sister and the medicine cat through half-shut eyes. He felt pity for the medicine cat, wondering what made her blind in the first place, how long she had lived with the disability, and how she survived.
//Ugghh Cloudpaw I meant. That's what her full name will be dammit.
She heard moss shifting, and turned to face Sunkit. "Do you want to join our game? Sunkit, right?" She'd helped deliver these two. Sunkit had been born easily, but Lemonkit's birth was much more difficult on the mother. "And I can smell your curiosity. What do you want to know? Why I'm blind?"
Sunkit worried that the she-cat would become offended by his questions. Surely it was hard for her to be blind, and he didn't want her to think he was pitying her. But he did want to join the game, however, and grabbed the mossball in his paws, hoping he could disguise his curiosity with play.
She smiled. "I was born blind. But I've gotten so used to it that I can 'see' like you. I just use my hearing and sense of smell."
//I haven't decided the plot yet. Care to help?//
Lemonkit looked between the med cat and her brother, and intersected the throw half-way. "I can do it too! Watch!" She closed her eyes and threw the ball in the air. It landed a tail-length away and she opened her eyes in disappointment. She grabbed it up and threw it back to her brother.
Sunkit rolled onto his back, wanting to feel the wet moss all over his paws. He had heard the she-cat's words and his interest reinforced, but didn't want to go further because he just wasn't the talkative type. Perhaps that would change as I grow,he thought, so deep into his own head that the mossball just bounced off his paws.

IC: Smiling, she tossed waited for Lemonkit to toss the mossball back to her. "Lemonkit, try to pick it up with an arcing motion. It makes it fly better." She looked towards Sunkit, and heard the moss he was laying on squelching. (Idk if thats a word haha)
"Speech."
