  • The day started out like any other day in Hawkclan. The sun rose, Hawkclanners awoke and went about their daily chores. Some set to hunting and sparring whilst others chatted in the sunlight and played in the streams. The focus of today would start at the shrine. A very creepy old thing tucked away in the territory. Most who came across it avoided it; they said it gave them a bad vibe. And today it would have an especially bad vibe. For the whisperings those people heard that made them think they were going crazy were increasing in volume up until a puff of smoke, a dark purple, puffed upwards. It was mostly gone unseen by people as it was hidden by all the trees but the sound that followed would be enough to catch everyone's attention. It was.. silent. But everyone in Hawkclans vicinity felt the tingling in their ears and the sensation in their hearts that something was coming. A warning. The purple smoke gave way briefly and revealed an almost water-like surface where the shrine once stood. The 'water' was dark purple like the smoke and had gold shimmers to its top. The whispers turned into silence and things became ominous when dark shapes were seen moving underneath the surface.

    Suddenly creatures slithered from the circular portal. They crawled, bodies hooked or scaled. These creatures were all of different apperances except all were relatively small, around the size of a grown hawk. Some were missing limbs and some had wings that extended from their bodies. These creatures poured forth from the portal and ran amok in the redwood forest. Screams of shock and fear sounded out whenever a hellish creature would be sighted. The forest normally rang with hawk screeches. But the hawks had turned silent and watched with narrowed eyes at the hell pets that ran or flew through Hawkclan territory.

    // This is a new plot for Hawkclan, explained in this thread if you want a better description. Basically they have escaped from a hell portal and are currently roaming around Hawkclan. They don't attack people, are just generally scary to see at first and can trick you in many ways by taking new forms etc.. Have your character react to them whatever way you want.

  • ARIZONA;;

    Arizona had gone to look for something to offer to a hawk to make it her new companion since she had stalled on that long enough. As she walked through the forest she had caught sight of one of the hellish creatures that was chowing down on a small mouse. What. The. Fuck. The white cat stared at the creature for some time, how was one to react. Maybe it was a joiner? Though it wasn't acting like any other joiner she had ever seen, of course it was hard to judge by just appearance. There were a lot of different animals out there in all different shapes and forms. Approaching them silently she offered a small smile, "Hello there-" her face was greeted by a mud ball, realizing she had trigger a wire. What a prank. Wipping off her face with one paw she looked back up to see the creature had moved on.

  • NOTHING SHINES BRIGHTER THAN A GOOD HEART

    Poe HawkClan Sentinel

    Poe was up in the trees with Yavin when the hell pets were released. He was practicing balance and being up high, which had never really been hard for him, but good to practice anyways. With his tinnitus, the canine didn't hear the pets at first. However, he did hear Yavin's screech as something crawled up the tree behind them.

    Poe whirled about to see a lizard/bird thing that was crawling around and exploring. He frowned in confusion. What the heck was that? It didn't seem to be angry, but Poe decided to get far away. He and Yavin jumped to the ground, the latter alighting on the canine's back. To their further surprise and annoyance, more creatures were all over the place, hellish hybrids that scresched and slithered and raced. What was going on? Poe began running, unsure of what else to do. He noticed Arizona not too far ahead. "Hey, what's going on?"

  • TAGS — Broken had padded out unsure what the commotion was and just narrowly avoided stepping on something small, black and hissing - immediately the allo stumbled back, for a moment concerned he had accidentally almost trod on a clanmate.

    but the bright green flames and the four green eyes on the weird black cat-like creature immediately disposed him of that notion as the thing hissed at him and scampered away.

    oh, well, this was going to be an interesting day wasn't it?

  • Mercy.png

    She'd been walking alongside the river that day; Mercy had taken to doing so rather frequently, finding the sound of the rushing water to be quite soothing. After a while, the molly paused and lowered her head for a drink, lapping at the cold fluid for a few moments, before she froze with her tongue sticking out of her mouth as a dark shape caught her eye — a reflection in the water. It looked a little like a bat, though she hadn't thought that HawkClan's territory housed any.

    Curious, she rose to her full height and turned around, only to let out a sharp gasp when a pair of pure white, bulging eyes met her gaze. Mercy took a quick step back in her surprise, slipping and nearly falling into the river in the process. The creature that hovered before her — a dark, wispy thing that looked vaguely felid in appearance — emitted a strange hissing sound, something that suspiciously resembled laughter. Then it flew off, heading deeper into the woods, and for a moment she merely stood there in shock, lashing her dampened tail. Eventually, she regained her composure and darted after it, afraid that its intentions were malicious.

    It managed to evade her, but it wasn't long before she came across Brokenjaw, who looked rather bemused himself. Then she heard Poe's voice, and the molly realized that two more of her clanmates were close by. "Did anyone else see this weird little thing with wings? It caught me by surprise and flew away."

  • ARIZONA;;

    "I have no idea what's going on." the female replied, trying to get the rest of the mud off her face. Arizona had never seen creatures like these before and it seemed her clan mates were also confused by them. She hoped that they weren't violet or would cause to much damage around the territory. Because it would suck to deal with them on top of the exiles. Looking around to spot a couple more hellish creatures wondering around they didn't seem to be blood thirsty monsters but more of trouble makers. "It looks like a bunch of strange creatures just showed up out of no where." Arizona said, unsure of where they came from exactly. But she sure hoped to get rid of them soon since they seemed to like throwing mud at her face. Which was something she didn't want to deal with on a day to day thing.

  • I WAS SCARED

    Bliss Grimes / Hawkclan & new / Female [♀]

    *:・゚✦

    ~ The caracal was exploring the camp, her back lowered as if a large weight rest upon it. Snap. It sounded exactly like Littlestar standing on that twig- but this one sent shivers up her spine. She heard it from behind herself. She had started to become more comfortable around camp, even trusting her new clanmates enough to not look behind her every five seconds. Surely no one would prank me? She was in a fragile state, and she still needed some time to settle in. She quickly looked behind herself, her large tufted ears lying flat on her head. Nothing was there.

    "Hello?" She slowly turned back to the front, and jumped in fright. A small weird creature scuttled across her path, than stretching it's wings and jumping into the air. She lifted her nose into the air to catch scent. That's weird. It smells like smoke... The kitten's face changed from curious to frightened, as she looked around her desperately.

    "Littlestar? Littlestar?" Bliss called frantically, frightened. Anyone. Please. Just come, I'm scared. Tragic scenarios were running through her head, where she was taken away by one of those creatures, tortured and than murdered. She lay in the middle of camp, shivering. It wasn't cold, but these thoughts scared her so much.

  • retro everything lmao

    Littlestar lay sprawled on a sunning rock, her fur warm and her heart rate at a normal pace. Things were comfortable. She felt like sleeping and was pretty close to it too. A blissful smile sprawled onto her maw and she turned on her back, closing her eyes. Then suddenly something wet landed on her belly. The tabby shrugged it off at first, maybe someone had accidentally splashed water on her. But then it kept on coming and she opened her eyes, sat up. Her belly was messy with some sort of red liquid that smelt terrible. She frowned, snorted and jumped off the rock, looking up. A very weird looking creature sat above her on an extended tree branch. It was red and black, full of cracks and random spikes and it was waving at her, a devilish grin on it's face. What the.. fuck?! The tabby was practically steaming, grabbing a rock and trying to throw it at the weird creature. A high pitched laugh erupted from it's mouth, odd sounding, and it slithered down the tree, disappeared from sight entirely until she felt a tug on her tail. Littlestar spun, claws out.

    "Fuck off!" The Monarch snarled, claws digging into the ground.
