  • TAGS — //first time I ever did any weekly task giving cx

    Littlestar had asked him if he could host the weekly tasks and the allosaurus as helpful as always had readily agreed, Fearless leader was busy with funerals and allies and such, if he could help in some way he'd of course do so.

    Shuck, shuck went his jaw from right to left before he called out "HAWKCLANNERS! I HAVE WEEKLY TASKS TO GIVE OUT IF YOU WISH FOR ONE!" his jaws closed with a click, now to wait for them to approach to receive them.

  • "i'll take one" valor spoke up as he approached the dinosaur, eyes narrowed as he looked brokenjaw up and down. maybe it was because his mind wasn't occupied with other things and he could now take notice in how... large brokenjaw was. he didn't like it. now he knew how sola and malkyn felt whenever something competed with their height, he just hadn't expected it to feel so... aggressive? he didn't exactly want to fight brokenjaw, but he definitely felt threatened. undermined, in a way. the hound exhaled sharply and tried shaking off the feeling but it remained, which he begrudgingly decided to deal with for now.

    "Hit me up, Brokenjaw!" Poe called as he made his way over. His last weekly task had been a blast. Hopefully he'd get something good this time as well. Unlike Valor, Poe didn't feel nervous at all around the dinosaur and instead peacefully awaited his task.

    AND WHEN OUR CHILDREN TELL OUR STORY,

    THEY'LL TELL THE STORY OF TONIGHT !

    HERCULES MULLIGAN !

    The call to get a weekly task was nothing new to the canine, but it still left a pleasant ring in his ears. It was a reassurance that he wasn't alone - Lessa and Poe were here too and just hearing Poe speak as Hercules made his way over lit up that fire in his belly. He was makimg this work. "I'll take a task, too." he speaks, looking to his unfamiliar clanmate.

  • Take her mind off it all. The deaths had rattled her to the bone and she needed something else to do to take her mind off of it. The tabby limped over at his call and stood besides Valor who she noticed seemed a little down or more quiet then normal. But her gaze remained on Brokenjaw, golden eyes brighter then before. "Yeah, give me one." Littlestar said with a shrug, voice sounding casual.

    // no muse WHY

  • tags- in the wake of June's absence, her inactivity, Hestia had passed from this life and onto another realm. June knew death was not the end, she had seen countless others die and then come back but still the nature of her sisters death more than disturbed her. June wished she had been there, perhaps maybe she would've been able to protect her. But no, despite how hard her father had tried she wasn't able to change the past, she wasn't a being capable of time travel, unfortunately. All of this, she needed to take her mind off before she started going crazy. Claws digging in the sand as she stood, waiting for her turn to speak up, blue eyes passing over everyone who was currently present, making mental notes of them all. When they had all spoken in turn she lifted her gaze to look at the one responsible for giving out the tasks, Brokenjaw "I'll take a task as well" she called out, lifting her voice only slightly above its usual tone so that she could be heard.

  • TAGS — /bear with me, tryna think of cool/interesting tasks? |D

    Wow, well he'd have to think fast then there were quite a few here, hm, looking over each he recognised the faces he'd see no round and the new among them - hm, what task best suited each person? The allosaurus took a moment to ponder each hawkclanners before making his decisions.

    Valor was first, for he had asked first and thus it was only polite, hm "Valor would you mind maybe running drills or training of some kind? Just to keep everyone in the best shape, I'll leave what kind up to your discretion" the allosaurus phrased it more as a question, figuring the other would prefer the choice to refuse should he need - and well they needed to run some drills perhaps, with the recent deaths against the exiles things seemed to be heating up and it wouldn't do to be caught unawares - and he'd let the sentinel decide on what was best, he'd probably know more what with likely past experience with the exiles ways in general.

    Next was Poe, he'd organised the beach day not long ago and seemed a genuine guy, for all he'd been around much Broken was still on the periphery of most people and thus didn't much know everyone yet so he didn't have a decent reading but then, there was an idea "Poe I'd like if you could organise a social game of sorts? We've had a lot of new members and it'd help us get to know each other - games like 'never have I ever' or 'two truths, one lie' are some examples" the allosaurus chirped.

    Ah next was Hercules and the allosaurus had a brief moment of panic there, oh he didn't know this one well but perhaps something tried and true would be fine here - something that others could help with, since the allosaurus wouldn't want to send the new members out alone on tasks, wouldn't help well with knowing each other, hmmm, ah! The tried and true methods never failed "Hercules, if you could organise a hunting party perhaps?" a social activity that relied on teamwork to bring home food for all - that would do to help build bonds and as a bonus a way to familiarise yourself with the territory you were new too.

    Ah! Fearless leader! Broken grinned over at his fellow crooked jawed hawkclanner, Hm, this task would be something not too strenuous - fearless leader already had a lot to deal with, why not a task that didn't focus on running the clan or worrying about the exiles, something to concentrate on that wasn't the stresses of leadership, Hm, his eyes strayed to the varying Hawks briefly, ah! Eureka! "Littlestar how about making something for our birds? Maybe some feeders filled with treats or distributing something that entertains them but keeps their talons sharp? Just something to show we appreciate our fine feathered friends" it was perfect, something non stressful and easy for their hardworking leader.

    Ah another he didn't know well, Hm, something social again perhaps? But something non stressful, miss June seemed down - rightly so with recent deaths, he could blame no one there - so perhaps a mindless task easy to get lost in that wouldn't cause too much stress hmmm, maybe something that was therapeutic?, "June if you could maybe host a painting session? You and others that join you could paint anything you like, something to decorate the treehouses with perhaps? To hang on your wall?" painting could be de stressing and only as much thought as you wished could go into it, it didn't have to be serious.

    ///wow where'd that muse come from?

    //also Brokenjaw would like you to know, THAT HE CARES AND WORRIES ABOUT ALL OF YOU |D

    It was becoming apparent to Littlestar that most people in the clan, people like Brokenjaw and Inu, just wanted her to chill out. Of course she didn't know their internal thoughts about her but when they gave her tasks, they were relatively easy and relaxing. Hell, the last one had been painting for christs sake. She'd enjoyed it but it wasn't anything that was too serious. Hearing that Brokenjaw simply wanted her to make something for the hawks made her nod. At least it was useful; she could make a feeder that released treats whenever a hawk landed on it's metal plates. She'd need some help with the mechanics but she reckoned she could do this. "Thanks." The tabby grins at him before turning and limping away, stub tail twitching.

    If Valor found their new clanmate's height offputting, imagine how little Mercy felt; she'd always been slight, and had grown up amongst rather large clanmates, but Brokenjaw was without a doubt the largest creature she'd ever come across. Aside from the Cryptkeeper, though she'd been doing everything in her power to think about anything but that horrid beast. "Could I get a task, please?" requested the molly, pushing her troubling thoughts aside as she approached.

  • NOTHING SHINES BRIGHTER THAN A GOOD HEART

    Poe HawkClan Sentinel

    "Thanks!" Poe called, nodding and padding off to start his task. A simple, but fun one for sure.

  • TAGS — A crooked smile was offered to those who thanked him, happy to have found tasks that they would enjoy - before another voice called up asking for one, someone he didn't know too well either though she'd been here longer than him, Hm, what task would suit Mercy - well she seemed the more maternal type, so maybe something for the youngsters? But applicable for everyone "how about organising a storytelling session? Whether true stories or fictional is entirely up to you" everyone loved a good story after all - and if it was a true story there was the bonus of teaching some history there, fictional ones always entertained the kids too, plus it was another social activity, which would help with all the new faces much like poe's assigned task.

  • ARIZONA;;

    The injured white cat was on her way to being fully back on her feet. But she had a while to go before she was at 100%. She hasn't been too badly hurt but the cuts would take some time. Arizona made her way over with a slight limp in her step, "I'll take a task." she said, happy to do something.

    Storytelling. Coincidentally, she'd gathered people for that a few months ago, though it would certainly be nice to do it again; it was a calm activity, something she could enjoy with ease. "Thank you," she said, and then headed off with a waving tail. This should be interesting.

  • TAGS — he inclined his head to mercy's thank you before turning to Arizona, hm, well this wasn't a specialised task but it always had to be done - that and it was something that wouldn't stress the still healing hawkclanner "perhaps a simple herb gathering trip? It's not the most glorious task I know" the allosaurus seemed sad that he couldn't find something more than the average menial task for her.

    ///mobile.

  • ThunderClan - or the Thunderlands, whatever the hell they called themselves now - did the same thing and that was the only reason Ghost was familiar with the procedure. You run up, ask for some stupid task, and then go do it. Ghost was used to the tasks coming to him, being shouted through a headset from a commander or heli overhead. His ears flicked back, maybe he did miss his old life. It was chaotic, unpredictable... here, it was too quiet. With a sigh, accompanied by smoke curling from his tongue, the hellhound approached the allo. "I guess I can take a task, big guy."

    [tags]

  • TAGS — the familiar figure of the hellhound padding into view brought Broken to a pause, hmm, what task would Ghost prefer? What task could he think up, the allosaurus thought for a bit "would seeing about setting up some defences be alright with you? Can't be too careful with those exiles after all" hey sure things had been quiet lately but that didn't mean it would always stay that way.

    That and the allo always felt suspicious when things got too quiet even if he was more thankful for it.

    Ghost seemed the type to enjoy more activities that revolved around those sorts of things or so the allo assumed, but then that's why he always phrased tasks like a question - that way they could refuse if they didn't like that task.

    // big dinosaur caring about his friends is just humouros to me idk why, I hope everyone is okay with the tasks? C:
