It had taken awhile, and Amasius had enlisted the help of a few younger RiverClanners. They had eagerly helped him and decreased the overall setup time dramatically. The fallow deer was happy with how things turned out.
On a dry patch of still-green grass, there were four large blankets layed out. One held some neatly and freshly killed small animals, the second had a couple of larger creatures such as a roast pig and a large chicken and turkey, another held a large assortment of fruit and vegetables, freshly picked and artfully displayed. The third blanket held a bunch of delicious edible plants, tasteful shreds of bark, tree leaves and roots and edible flower buds. In the center there was a large basin of water, clear and fresh. He had some replacements stored over in a dry place, and when the first one became dry or contaminated, he would easily be able to replace it.
On the beach that was nearby, he had an assortment of toys that could be used for the water. Different matts were set up for nice sitting areas. He planned on setting up some games once people arrived and started mingling. He hoped this worked well, as it was his first weekly task, and he was very much hoping for a success.
