pitch wasn't really all too familiar with having depression himself. he had, though, been in a world where loss happened by the masses. he had been a reincarnation of someone who actually killed themselves at one point as well. mental illnesses were commonly experienced. his youth had come with multiple clanmates committing suicide and when few had inevitably come back from it, they had similar reasons altogether. they either felt alone, or overwhelmed with it. pitch had mistakenly acted cold whenever he saw the unfortunate scene of a clanmate dead by their own doings. of course, he never really thought much of it. it wasn't his life he had been ending over just feeling sad. it hadn't made much of an impact until it was his turn to feel the pain, and loss from an ex-lover.
"if he's our clanmate, doesn't it make it our concern?" he piped up, his voice speaking before he could keep shut. his actions didn't quite feel like his own, though. he quickly put the blame on casper trying to influence him.. "you don't want him to kill himself and then feel bad because you didn't believe him, right? we should all be there for jamie, especially if his own sister is going to deny what his feeling." pitch didn't exactly have family, but casper did. him and his adopted brothers and sisters, his wild amount of kids and the in-laws. oh gods the in-laws. shaking all of that aside, the tom nudged duskmire's side with his nose in a 'we should probably get out of here' gesture.
