Cobalt, the strong, mighty Lucario and Paige's faithful partner... Reduced to a pack mule...

The bags of supplies that Paige had managed to get together (mostly Potions and Status Heals) might've been a bit overkill in Cobalt's eyes, since he had no doubts Alola had Pokemon Centers of their own. The bags of swimsuits that he was carrying on the other hand, completely and utterly overkill. He knew that some girls could not resist clothes-shopping, and that Paige hadn't had a real beach vacation in... forever, but this... this was ridiculous... He could almost swear he was carrying the equivalent of his weight in nothing but that stuff...

  • Sometimes...You had to stop and ask yourself...

    Did I buy too much?

Obviously, Paige hadn't. And it showed in the form of a poor, unfortunate Lucario forced to handle her bags. The whole spectacle was quite the amusing sight for those in New Mauville. Amusing to some, not so for others. "You alright back there?"

  • Cobalt was partially thankful that a communication barrier existed between Humans and Pokemon, otherwise the sarcasm wouldn't end. As for his predicament, he was still alive... Weighed down and nearly ready to be buried alive by swimsuits, but alive. At least he had no intention of dying that way, so he kept to himself and continued to carry on. Literally I might add

  • "One more atop and then we're done. Promise!"

Really. Paige was starting to regret shoving all of her things onto poor ol' Cobalt. Although he had offered in the first place. Maybe they were both regretting this arrangement...Yeah.

  • Cobalt sighed in response, though he gave a nod anyways to Paige. Hopefully it wasnt going to be any longer, because he was quockly regretting volunteering to carry her items for her... Whatever, it couldnt possibly be another swimsuit; she already had enough to fill an entire walk-in wardrobe to the brim...

  • Cobalt sighed as Paige dragged him to one of those shops. He didn't mind the gesture Paige wanted for him, but the problem was his thoughts about those kind of stores...

Namely, how none of the stuff there he cared about... At all...

(just saying, Cobalt has a major sweet tooth, but is incredibly embarrassed about it...)

  • (Oh! Different idea for the Tournament plot based off Kingdom Of The Sun and in honor of Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon)

Paige was the first to enter, eagerly gesturing for Cobalt to follow. She was going to get him a present for his hard work, and there was no changing that. Good intentions were alright, even if a little thoughtless.

  • With a heavy sigh of resignation, Cobalt followed Paige into the shop. Sure, it was probably odd to be seeing a Lucario carrying so much baggage, but at least he wasn't in danger of having it crush him with the sheer volume or weight of it all; nobody could possibly live that down if they made it out... if.
