The club president rushed over, staring a bit confused at the boy covered in posters. "Ah...sorry" went to an immediate apology due to people walking in angry earlier who were also made into a walking advertisement. After noticing that he didn't seem angry, the young vampire went on to ask what he was here for while a member walking by with posters glanced to him then took the posters off of him wondering how he walked there with one covering his eyes.

Dylan gave the president a shrug as he and other members pulled the posters off. "It's nothing, man. I'm all right. No harm, no foul." Seeing as he had no injuries from the whole thing, he didn't see anything serious. He answered the vampire's question, "Figured I should do a good deed today. Flair told me you guys needed help setting up." The boy couldn't mention his interest in the basement. Not just yet.
-
"Ah, Help?" The club president lit up at this and quickly grabbed at his hand beaming. "Well..wouldn't want to be a bother but" He then wen tot list all that was needed done and asked what he would be up for. The list was long, helping with electronics, helping set up stage, working on costumes, grabbing certain needed props and more.
-
"Do any one of those require going down to the basement?"
Dylan asked this the first chance he got. Yes, it may have sounded a tad suspicious. But they'd probably just assume he was scared of the basement. Rather than investigating a potential mystery.
-
"Well, their is the one to grab the box of item's from the last play held 40 years ago." The president wondered why but didn't bother pressing into it to much. " No one has gone to get them yet since we have been so busy with other things" he continued.
-
Dylan jumped at the chance. "Why not send me? I've got plenty of free time." Most would question his choice of going down to retrieve age-old, near mythical items from a possibly-haunted basement. But then they'd remember who they were talking to.
-
He was confused but decided to take it, since it would be very beneficial for the play if these items were grabbed. "Alright, be sure to grab the right one though. Here is a list oh and the key to get down there" The drama club having the key since they were the ones who used the basement the most.
-
Dylan took the list and the keys before giving them a smile. Reassuring them he'd be okay, while also masking his plan. He gave them another wave before walking out and leaving. He was unaware of the fact Flair followed him.
-
Flair continued to follow, very curious indeed. She even stopped handing out posters and focused on not losing him. Just why did he want to go to the basement?
-
Finally: Dylan arrived at the basement door. He took the borrowed key, inserted it into the hole, and unlocked it. He looked both ways to make sure he wasn't followed (Which he was, but the 'stalker' was a crafty Fox Spirit who could hide with ease). With no more doubts, Dylan pushed open the door and entered the darkness.
-
The stair's down were long and slightly curved in a spiral. It took about 5 minutes before he reached the bottom. How long it took probably one of the reasons why the drama club didn't do it right off the bat. The room was small, dark and dusty. Stacks of boxes here and there. One wall though was made a bit different and seemed newer in comparison to the three other walls.
-
Dylan may not have been known for his intelligence, cunning, or situational awareness. But he was able to see one of the walls looked awfully different from the rest. He walked towards this part of wall, hand outstretched. If cartoons were right, this was a fake. And all he had to do was press it.
-
The wall was cold and very solid. Not doing anything for a long moment, after all if it were that easy then it would have been found out at a earlier time. Though with a bit more pressure and the right spot a part of the wall crumbled. It reviled a whole other room coated in water and ice. The other side of the wall being so icy that the pressure at a certain spot had cause the wall to crumble. Their were also many pulls and it seemed very large. He would need to go in and walk around in order to see more.
-
The moment the wall fell, Dylan was hit with a gust of freezing air. He shuddered and rubbed himself to keep warm. W-What was in there?! And why did it need so much...Cold?! His breath came out as vapor the further in he went. Yes, he was going into this frozen cavern.
-
Flair would have followed him all the way in, but she did not do so great with cold places. Plus she would have been noticed if she started heating up the area. So she waited in the storage room. The area was large and the deeper he went the colder it got. Water soaked into his shoes, not completely frozen. At its deepest point surrounded by poles, bars he would see the beginning of a long dark chain. It would lead to a figure scooping up some water with her hands and drinking it. The chains were connected to cuffs on her arms and ankles. She had large white wings, long hair and horns. When she noticed him she dropped some of the water she was drinking and moved as far away as she could with the chains before looking to him curiously but also somewhat fearfully.
-
All of a sudden, at the end of that arctic corridor, the cold stopped bothering Dylan. He could see...A girl. A girl with wings and horns, chained to the wall. And when she saw him, she panicked. "Whoa! H-Hey. I-I'm not gonna hurt you..." he carefully tried to approach the girl. Shivering in his water-logged shoes. "I-I came down here...To help."
-
The girl seemed rather distrusting of him, since those before him had only come down there to hurt her. She couldn't move much further if she wanted to so she kept to her spot. She didn't seem to care about the cold, being barefoot and wearing a simple dress. As he got closer it got colder. The air around her was the coldest, as if it were coming from her. She wrapped her wings around herself as she watched him warily. She saw him shiver, she had forgotten others were not very good with the cold.
-
How could Dylan show this girl he wasn't going to hurt her? He thought this over while desperately trying to keep himself warm. When the idea came to him, the boy leaned down to grab the chain with both hands. Strength was always his strong point...
Without a word, Dylan made an attempt to break the chain.
-
It took a moment for the girl to notice what he was trying to do. Trying to break the chain, why? If he could break it..she would be able to leave this place. She slowly took a few steps forward, observing him curiously. The chain was rather tough yet warm compared to that of the surroundings. One to counteract magic most likely, which is probably why her ice had not broken it. The chain was also rather old, so even if such strength would not have worked when it was first made it seemed to work rather well here. The chain creaking then snapping. She stared a bit wide eyed at the now broken chain. Looking at it then over at him with wide eyes.
-
Dylan let the broken chain pieces drop to the floor with a clatter. "See? You can leave now! You're free!" He insisted and gestured to the destroyed trap. He even smiled, teeth chattering. He was on the brink of freezing where he stood.
