  • [ tarnished silver — leviathan ackerman arcanium ]

leviathan's life seemed to be a turmoil with all the recent events. the damage from bloodclan's attack, the greedy eclipse, and the murders that he had almost added into. it struck him with an unpredictable force that depended on his reaction. would he break? would he simply brush it off? it was a risky dare for reality to probe at the silent male, his emotions latched away which made it difficult to show what he was truly thinking. but there were moments. moments when his feelings got the best of him and swallowed his stoic mask, taking over and showing a small clip of what was going on inside his head. one of those critical points was when he had stumbled onto seeing a child all alone. he had just been returning from his ambassador trip to riverclan, tired paws pounding softly against the earth beneath him in a quickened pace as he was cautious if there would be another bloodclan attack some time soon when he wasn't there. he had nearly walked past without noticing the resting curled figure of the child resting in the gentle ferns of vegetation. but at the last split second of sticking to the scene, he had managed to catch a small wisp of tar black fur that was similar to his. perplexed, he halted and turned around quickly in preparation for a fight. instead, he ended up becoming dumbfounded when he found out it was a child.

he had woken her up, question her, and soothed her when she began to cry for her parents. he tried to figure out where her former home had been so he could take her home to where she belonged yet she claimed she did not have a single clue. her jade green eyes stared up at him and for once, leviathan felt a tiny prick of nervousness. what the hell was he supposed to do in this sort of situation? however, it didn't take him very long to decide and he gave an offer to bring her to his home. she seemed quite pleased with the idea but chirped out that she wanted to ride on his back because she was tired though that wasn't much of a hard demand so he allowed her to scramble onto his muscular figure, her small paws pattering down his spine in eagerness. as he began to trek out towards sunclan, he could feel her small midnight black paws wrap around his neck, resting over the top of his pristine white cravat. he did notice she was smudging it a bit with dirt from her paws but that was not important since he could clean it later, all he wanted to do was get back home safely and as quick as possible so the goldenblood had not missed much events other than normal ones.

so the two japanese bobtails set out into the journey with their conversations ringing out in the still autumn air. she seemed to question a lot of things, her curiosity limitless and it did tire out leviathan out though the short male didn't complain about it since she was just a child. usually he would have told a normal member to shut the hell up and breathe for a second but this was not the case. so he gave quick "yes" or "no" or "i don't know" responses to her inquires as he walked towards the border with his velvety ears pricking up to see if anything happened. a wave of relief washed over him when he noticed that nothing had shredded sunclan even more and his tense broad shoulders relaxed, easing back into a comfortable position as he went to a slower walking pace towards the direction of the solar city. he could feel her paws tighten up around and he grimaced ever so slightly, piercing stormy gray eyes narrowing as he grunted softly "ria, not so hard." hopefully she would listen to his small order as he hoped she would be comfortable here.

( after WERIFESTERIA responds, feel free to !! )

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Just as Levi's life had been in turmoil as of late, every moment of Weri's young life felt like a constant tornado circling around in her little head. Despite the little gentle tufts of hair on her almost comically-large ears, and the tiny smile that currently rested upon her dainty maw, Weri was a fragile creature, much versed in the pains of the cruel world. Not of course, that she held any misgivings against the new world that she had been born into. For despite the troubles that the little japanese bobtail had been exposed to, it was with both much misfortune and much like that she remembered none of it. She did not remember the time that she had fallen into that badger hole, or the time she had nearly drowned in the creek. No, Werifesteria could remember only the pain when she had awoken, and the feeling of what seemed like an ocean swimming in her stomach.

And, her name explained the constant state of amnesia that the poor girl was faced with.

Werifesteria, a girl born in the eternal beauty of the words, was affected by her very namesake. An uncontrollable desire to explore the wodds, searching to uncover a mystery that she had no idea of. In the daytime, the little feline could resist the urge, though often found her tiny, distracted paws driving her towards the woods. At night however, Weri was a sleep-walker, or as she liked to call herself, an enthusiastic dreamer. In her slumber, the black feline could visit the most beautiful of forests of redwoods and wild flowers while in reality, she wandered towards the darkness of realities' forests. It was a dangerous thing that plagued the child, for it offered a strong possibility for harm and danger whilst in her dream like thoughts.

Of the few things she remembered about her mother, Weri could recall her warnings of strangers. There were some that would want to hurt her, she remembered her saying. For after all, the girl of glass was someone so gentle and so kind that others were eager to corrupt her. However, when a fellow that shared her dark coat had approached, Weri had looked up with tearful, puffy eyes, a tiny smile appearing upon her muzzle as he spoke kindly to her, and offered so kindly to take her home. That same word had brought a flicker of warmth to the cold child, and it had happened so quickly that she latched herself into his warm, soft fur, a gentle purr reverberating from her form.

Now, as she rested upon Levi's back, her paws wrapped tightly around her back, the tiny form would frown, though loosened her grip ever so slightly. "But i don't want you to go anywhere!" the feline would note with a hint of protest, despite having agreed with his question. Her voice, soft and somewhat broken, held warmth to it now though that had not been present before. "This is... Sunwhateveritis? Why is it named after the sun? No! Why is the sun named sun?"

  • Werifesteria and Leviathan both had these amazing stories of their childhood to tell - depressing, but interesting. Would it be fair to say Angeldust was jealous? Partly. The violence Ang would have to take a pass on, but to have at least one actively supportive parent who loved you would be weird, in a good sense. Siblings and clanmates who loved you were great and all, but Angeldust was very much biologically orientated and couldn't feel the love from their Sunclan role models, which morphed into not caring. Although perhaps it was a blessing that Angeldust had in fact stayed with Finn, otherwise Ang might be able to understand the everlasting traumatic effects of childhood violence as Angeldust's other siblings had. At least sociopathy had its perks.

Fate had its own ideas for every Sunclanner however, their future shaping the character of its victims for better or for worse. Fate also had dictated that Weri was to meet Levi along the border, was to be taken to Sunclan where she may persue a more prosperous life. For better or for worse.

Noticing the arrival of Levi on the border - coming from a place that Ang did not dare to question at this point - Angeldust didn't have much to do as they aimlessly wandered with their noisy thoughts, they had spare time to annoy the short prince. Sickly sweet smile in place Ang was ready to greet Levi in the way they knew annoyed the bobtail, but was distracted once Ang had noticed the other bobtail who was positioned upon his back. With how similar the pair looked it was uncanny, their black fur making Werifesteria almost blend into the fur of Levi. "Oh?" Angeldust was lost for words at this point, a little confused as to who exactly this foreign girl was and why Levi had brought her back to Sunclan. Was she hurt? "What a cutie, are you alright there?" Coming up beside Levi's form, Ang craned over the bobtail to address the young(?) Weri who looked a little confused. "I'll go get you some water, what might your name be though?" Ang's blue hued eyes scanned over Weri's form quickly to assess whether or not the girl was in need of any further assistance, but could not tell. "Do you know her? Is she related? She's like a female version of you Levi, uncanny." Shifting their gaze to meet Leviathan's face, Angeldust's voice held almost an amused wonder to it. This was certainly a weird situation.

(i have no clue what was going through my mind while writing, excuse the rambling)

  • now this was something to behold. and another reason to tease levi. perfect. the panther was hard to spot in the dark, the only thing assuring his presence was his brightly coloured eyes. the same eyes that had been watching over the border. the same eyes and body that remained vigil for hours on end in order to protect his clan. it was only when those brigt golden-green visionaries fell upon the familiar, small in stature, figure of levi, as well as what appeared to be a child on his back, that an all too bright smile slipped across his lips.

while the lack of the bobtail's presence was brief, it was noticable, afterall, there was a lot less yelling about leaving things in places they didn't belong. as well as a lot less cleaning. he was certain levi would catch up on all of that once he'd gotten some rest, maybe even before that. though the future aside, the present offered a rather interesting development. having heard the child's questions, khaol immediately took it upon himself to answer, likely to nobody elses surprise. "sunclan is where we are right now, it's a bit ironic being named after the sun when," he glanced up, gesturing to the eclipse above them, "when we don't really have one, right?" though as for her question about why the sun was called sun... well, his smarts didn't reach that far.

flashing the child a bright grin, he turned his gaze to levi, a spark of mischief making itself pleasent. "you should've said you were off to pick up a long-lost daughter levi! i didn't realise how much of a player you were. her poor mother. i hope you were paying your child support," the mini-lecture was brought to a curious stop as he glanced between the pair. wait, they did actually look pretty similar. "wait, is she actually your kid? does that mean she'll be staying here now?" it seemed he had just as many questions as the child. turning his gaze upon the child he flashed her another bright, friendly grin.

"i'm khaol, your dad's best buddy," he put emphasis on that, clearly stirring the other male up. "do you like cleaning as much as your daddo? he cleans a lot."

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — The first to approach was Angeldust, and Weri would pull bright green eyes off of Levi to focus upon the strange face. For a moment her ears would flicker backwards, a look of fright appearing in large, wide eyes. However, as his kind words soothed her, the feline of only a few months old would allow her smile to return, and she wiggled her nose in a goofy greeting. Cutie? That was nice! Weri didn't know exactly what it meant, but the way this person said it it seemed like something nice."H-hi there! I'm doing wonderful! I mean, my head hurts a little, b-but Levi's the bestest so that's okay." the feline would chirp, leaning down to nuzzle his head with affection before returning her gaze to Ang. Her name? Ah! She knew this one! "I'm named Werifesteria! But you can call me Weri or Ria or whatever! I'm good with anything since you seem nice! Water would be nice too..."

As Khaol began to speak, however, Weri's ears would perk with interest and she turned to face him, her paws still held firmly around Levi's neck. It was when he answered her question that she would giggle softly, craning her head upwards her glance curiously at the sky. How had she not noticed there was no sun? Well, it appeared to her that maybe her chatter had been enough to distract her. "Well... where did it go?" the femme would question. Indeed, here she was when it was somewhat dark and she was awake! What a silly world they lived in!

When he continued speaking, however. Weri would frown, lips parting in disagreement. What... was a player? What was child support? What- father? Oh no! "Levi isn't my daddy! Lev is my bestest brother, and I've decided that he's all mine. So sorry, you can't be his bestest friend any more because I'm his bestest friend." Weri would protest, eyes growing watery, though she pushed them quickly down upon realising that that was no way to act as a mature lady! Not that she was mature, of course. "Why does your name sound like a dirty hard rock that mommy told me about? It's funny but I like it!"

  • so her name was werifesteria? that was awfully long and complicated, but khaol made note of it nonetheless, instead deciding within his own head that he'd be calling her something much shorter and much easier to say. now if this wasn't the cutest thing he'd ever seen. khaol felt his heart melt at her little giggle at his response, his smile only seeming to widen. why were children so cute? "behind the moon i believe, or maybe aliens are blocking it, who knows," khaol's brows drew together momentarily, "don't look at the sun though, it'll still hurt your eyes and we don't want that now do we." it was likely that he normally wouldn't have warned someone but children weren't always the smartest of creatures.

it was amazing how quickly she became defensive over the bob-tail, a metaphorical brow raising as he took in the information. he was a slight bit disappointed actually, he'd hoped to make friends with levi babies, but he supposed he'd have to wait, and maybe for a very long time. "oh really?" he frowned a little at that, a brief and dramatic sigh parting the panthers lips. "i see, so he replaced me," placing a paw to his heart, khaol pretended to be hurt, his lips tipping down into a frown. "you may keep him as your bestest friend, ria, but take good care of him for me, okay?" he'd noticed the almost tears and for a moment had felt a pang of guilt. he didn't want to make the poor kid cry.

    actually.

his previously melted heart seemed to reform at her next statement. the frown remaining on his lips. "perhaps i was named after that dirty, hard rock your mum told you about," it was hard to miss the males slightly offended tone. "is there a problem with that? how is it funny?" okay khaol, turn down the salt buddy. "i like my name, i thought it was pretty cool, because then it can mean that i'm strong like a rock."

her response to his plea caused him to almost smile, realizing she was certainly a very adorable child. it was odd since leviathan was quite young and considered a kid yet was incredibly serious and held not a single drop of innocence due to him seeing everything dark in the world. his head slightly turned towards her question about this being sunclan, his jaws parting to answer when his eyes caught the familiar taller figure of the silver kitsune that came towards his direction. the dark prince wondered what angeldust was going to say, his mental guesses revolving around them saying something clever to get under his skin. his small charcoal black paws went to a slowing halt since he wanted to the medic to see if werifesteria's health was good or bad. yet, his friend seemed to be interested in the child and questioning their name and if she desired water. he blinked his tired metallic gray eyes, remaining silent to allow them to socialize since he wanted the smaller japanese bobtail to feel at home.

when angeldust then questioned him, his attention snapped back with his mind pushing back all the other plans he had for the day. god, he was overwhelmed but the male knew it was his duty to do as much as he could especially at a time like this for sunclan. he shrugged his lean shoulders lightly as he stated flatly "no, i just found her. she's not related to me though i can understand the confusion. first time seeing another japanese bobtail in a while." he answered the first two questions though the comment about ria being a female verison didn't cause him much bother though there was a small prick of annoyance in his half-lidded dull gaze as he simply let out a small 'tsk' escape his jaws while deciding to focus onto his new adoptive sister, turning the front of his body ever so slightly to the side so he would be able to look at her. she did look a lot like him. same species. same obsidian black fur. yet instead of stormy orbs, her's were a bright forest green that glinted with so much light unlike his darkened gaze, only a dot of daylight touching them. might as well call her his sister now since they would probably be connected together even if they weren't related besides he actually was enjoying werifesteria. her wonderous enthusiasm was refreshing and held such a curiosity that levi had never been able to have.

his focus was destroyed at the sound of khaol's voice, his triangular ears drawing back instantly as he glared towards the direction of the other sunclanner with his stoic expression now molding into one of irked disdain. the first few comments hadn't really stretched his patience but with the playful banter of being a father, a clear silent warning of anger flashed in leviathan's eyes. parenthood was a touchy subject for levi and had no desire in being known as some fucker who banged women and left like his own deadbeat father had to his mother. his lower jaw set as he contemplated on if he should let werifesteria off him so he could fight the black panther. yet, he knew that khaol had not a single clue of his history so he allowed the boiling anger to die away as he replied sharply "least reached final base with someone. you can't even get a wink back, dumbass. but no she's not my kid. she is staying here if she wants." it seemed this was the second time he had brought in another creature, the first one had been akuma. at the lie about being best buds, a fictional eyebrow quirked up as he said "no. no you're not. nor will you ever be my best bud." jesus, khaol really was being a pain on his ass right now but the male was a bit too tired to really put effort due to his travels and dealing with the many questions from ria.

he felt her press against him with cause a tiny brief upward twitch of his lips though it wasn't a smile, just a small muscle of feeling her once against cuddle up against him - something he really wasn't used to but allowed her to. "ria, it's best, not bestest. but no worries, we can work on that later." he murmured gently, his short tail twitching as he realized he would be taking care of her. it wouldn't be much of a difficulty since he was already with a large amount of siblings. at her comment about khaol's name, leviathan couldn't help but feel a warmth of amusement burn his chest and caused the goldenblood to let out a small sigh of amusement as he was beginning to like her even more already. he watched the two interact, his left front paw brushing off the small tiny specks of dirt that were caught onto his cravat. "yeah there is a problem, khaol. talk to her like that and i'll rub your face on the ground. i mean, you do belong there since you are named after a rock." leviathan joined into the conversation with his monotone lulling voice though his eyes were still trained at picking off all the dirt from the cloth.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Despite the odd assortment of things that he had said and Weri couldn't understand, the little bobtail couldn't but like this guy. Sure, he appeared to have been making fun of her new brother, but that was okay! After all, she figured that had least he hadn't been straight out mean, right? Heck, maybe that was just him being nice! As an impressionable child, and one that had never really met with other youngsters, Weri really had no particular clue about how to deal with such a situation. And so, the girl did what she did best and simply gave a shy smile.

However, as he continued to entertain her and her question, Weri would become slightly more certain that she could like this person. "I don't believe in aliens but... I like the moon? So I think that's the answer! Oh-oh why? Isn't the sun pretty though?" Ah yes, and endless questions. However, the feline allowed herself to look away, even if she didn't really truly know why somebody shouldn't look at the sun. It was awfully bright, after all, so she did agree with that. She wanted to know, but she figured she could maybe ask about that later!

As Levi spoke, his words reverberating through his body, Weri would peer down at him, curious as to what he was saying. And, although she could hear the exact words that he was saying, the young child had no real clue of how exactly to determine what they meant. However, the tone of his words were enough to make the dainty think worry about Levi. Was he okay? Was he sad? Oh goodness, was he mad? She sure hoped that he wasn't! Turning back to Khaol, Weri would hold back a statement of disagreement as he appeared sad, and then somewhat unhappy. Clicking her tongue, Weri would reach forward from Levi's back, aiming to rest her tiny paws on Khaol's muzzle. "Oh it's okay mister! My name is funny too, and your name is like my name! Our names are u-unique! I dunno if you're strong, but I'll believe you!"

Boobing his nose with her paw, the girl would cuddle into Levi once more. "Best? Okay, I'll try and remember that!" Weri noted, bobbing her head eagerly. She would try, at least, since she really did want to impress her new brother. Brother? Yes, yes she had decided that would work! And then there were more angry words, or maybe just frustrated, but they made Weri frown nonetheless. "It's okay Levi it's okay! I'll- rub his face in the ground for you! The grass is really wonderful and soft so he'll love it!" What he was trying to get across? Probably not what Weri had read.

  • Watching Werifesteria wiggle their little nose in a greeting, Angeldust couldn't help the subtle but more genuine grin to emerge on their face. Was it just a requirement of all young children to be undeniably adorable? Even Ang, who was by no means "maternalistic" or whatever, could admit that Weri was positively a cutie. "Your head's a little sore? That's not good, well you tell me if it gets any worse alright? I'm sure "bestest" Levi can assure you I'm a very good medic." Ang spoke in that tone that all adults who were good with children did, even if Ang was only faking it till they made it. Their smile grew to try and make the kit feel a little less intimidated by the bigger form of Angeldust. Demanding praise however, Ang turned their pointed gaze to Levi with eyebrows raised in an expectant manner. "Right Levi?" Ang keep the sickly sweet smile upon their face, mocking the other bobtail as they spoke. Soon after however, Ang's attention was snatched up again as Weri accepted the offer of water as Ang was just about ready to go collect said water for the young child.

Listening to Levi's explanation Ang could agree with the prince on the fact that there had been quite a lack of bobtails around Sunclan, more kitsunes with multiple tails instead. "Oh? Well she's certainly the spitting image of you then." At Levi's response to whether or not Weri was in fact related to the older bobtail Ang let themselves wear a faux frown in disappointment, twin tails lazily swaying behind them. Suddenly another idea popped into the kitsune's head, Ang leaning slightly closer to Levi and speaking in a more hushed tone. "I could perform tests you know? To see if whether maybe you're cousins or distant relatives." Ang admittedly would just like to perform more tests to amuse themselves.

Leaving for a moment to collect some water for Werifesteria, Angeldust had the water in tow and plastered an amicable grin upon their face as they approached. Yet as the kitsune approached, voices were more clearly heard and what the kitsune heard caused a frown to appear instead of the friendly expression. Khaol and Levi were talking about.. Unsavoury things in the presence of a child. "Werifesteria is in her impressionable stages of childhood, and you two are being a toxic influence on her psychological development." Angeldust keep their scolding quiet and did not look at either of the males who kept bickering, but the medic did prepare the water for Weri to drink easily upon Levi's back. "Here you go Weri, from the finest of water sources." Chuckling at their own dumb remarks, Ang tried to get the water to the young child so that Weri may be able to drink comfortably. If sucessful or not, Ang would turn to Levi for a second before turning back to remark. "Come on, the Levi bus needs to make it to the next stop."

  • Was there a new friend to meet?! Oh, Eden hoped so! She had been feeling rather down in the dumps lately, and everything was still just... scary. They had a war, the sun was gone, her parents were tense, Levi had been angry, Diana wasn't around, and neither were her siblings. She felt... alone. Afraid, even, but with new friends? No one could be alone or scared with new friends! And the were with Levi, too!... Though... There was... what was it? It was something Eden hadn't felt before. Jealousy. Jealousy at seeing her cuddle up to Levi like that, though that was all that she had been there, upon her initial arrival to see. Her ears flattened back softly, not at all helped by Angel's presence, who also seemed like they didn't like Eden one bit- and in that regard, Eden could agree.

"Uhm, hi..." Eden murmured softly, the girl's gentle wings wrapped around her person as if they were her own personal blanket as she sheepishly smiled, and cautiously approached. "I'm... Princess Eden," she would offer softly, though she couldn't help but to look between Levi and Wisteria; she had missed the conversation, and had no idea why they were talking about shoving each other's faces into the ground. It'd be a weird facial. Though she didn't even know what a facial was. Maybe they just liked rocks. Or, it was Khaol and Levi- they were bound to get into some sort of trouble.
