  • what's "algebra iia"?

we only have college-level algebra, algebra i, and algebra ii

    lol don't sweat it, april

that was me with ap bio last year

    lol hey frosty

i still haven't watched supernatural but i'm glad you like it

  • UM idk really, it's this weird thing we have in iowa (or maybe just in my school lol i wouldnt be surprised)

its a step up from Algebra I (basically Algebra II), so we have Algebra IIA, which comes before Algebra IIB

or if you wanna be a try hard, you can do the fast paced version, which is Algebra IIAB. thats both A and B combined (why anyone would want to,, idk)

and then after that is AP Calc and AP Stat i think?? we don't have an Algebra III tho for some reason

idk our math class system is strange and all over the place

like, i took Algebra I in my sophomore year, and then they made me take Geometry before taking IIA

  • Honestly I'd drop a class if it was stressing me and I didn't enjoy it - it's what I did with IT in A-levels when I originally wanted to do both art and photography they said it'd be too difficult for me with the workload.

Second year in (A levels have two years so you can get grades for A and AS level aka year one and two) I dropped IT which I hated and I failed be it was not for me and picked up photography - lo and behind despite the larger practical workload I got my A level in photography and both my A & AS level in art - and I was much happier that year even with the stress of getting everything done because I enjoyed both subjects.

    So that's my experience anyway.

Also I'll get to posting in a bit, I just gotta update something.

Also watching the last few Star Trek Discovery episodes be I needed to catch up.

  • ahh i see

lol i only did geometry, algebra ii, pre-calcus in high school; i was gonna do ap calc or ap stats this year but i changed my mind

i only took two ap classes - english and history - last night (after dropping ap bio, but pre-calc is considered college-level at my school)

this year i'm taking two ap classes and one college course; it's going much better this time to thank god lol

  • YEAH i might,,, just drop it

because my parents are yelling at me over it and in general, the class makes me unhappy

i like my teacher, but its just?? too fast paced for me and i'm struggling

it'll drop my GPA, which i don't want but, is that REALLY more important than my mental health??

my mom was asking me about if dropping it would hurt my GPA and i was like, listen,,,

this class is literally the worst one i have and im stressing over it

i still dont know if she gets it or not though but :^)

    ah i see

i should have taken an ap class but,,, i don't know if i could've handled it lol

especially considering that if you fail the ap final, you dont get any of the college credits

  • oh april, that sounds really stressful, i'm sorry

i hope you get out of it - your well-being comes first

    yeah lol

so far i've only gotten 4s, i got my first 5 last year

pax is so smart, he scored 5s on all of his exams lol

  • yeah its alright

i'm not 100% on what i'm doing yet tbh but i'm leaning heavily towards dropping if i do well on the final tomorrow

i really dont like math xD

    oof

    that's not bad tho!

of course pax got 5s >>

    a smart boy

  • lol april no one does

the only subjects i actually enjoy are social studies (history & government) & english (no surprise there lol)

lol i'm still salty i feel like i could have gotten a 5 on my ap world history exam if i hadn't messed up the date of india's independence

i put down 1957 instead of 1947 because that's what some kid told me when i asked before the exam

  • same sheep

lol you're one of the few, echo

i want to go into accounting but i personally don't even like math lol

i used to get straight a's in math until pre-calc c,:

    i'm just shit at calculus

oh heck yeah- i love history and english too

those are best subjects TBH xD

that and spanish- i dont even have to try in spanish lmaoo

oh same pen?? except maybe a little lower OOPS

i got a B in Algebra I and didnt even have to try v hard and now its,,, not even close to that /cri

  • you need to give them another try, frosty c,:

lol i actually didn't like spanish

i had to take it two years and i hated every minute of it

i also really didn't like chinese which i had for even longer

    i enjoyed german tho
