    i'm only close to my maternal grandfather (grandmother passed a while ago)

    my paternal grandmother lives in canada and she stayed with us for a while this summer


    ahh what level of spanish are you taking? like how fluent are you now?

    ahh how long do you plan on sticking with spanish? are you trying to gain fluency?


    i took chinese in elementary and junior high but it was mandatory

    i also took spanish in junior high but that was also mandatory


    it was only in high school that we got to select a language and i ended up starting german sophmore year

    unfortunately i dropped it this year because i didn't have room in my schedule if i wanted 6th period free

    I'm hoping to keep learning it after high school. I took Spanish in junior high but I was on homeschool and didn't care. But now, I'm actually understanding it and it's nice to know what people are saying around me.


    I'm taking Spanish II next semester but that's as far as I can go in high school. I should have started taking Spanish last year. Oops. Lol.

    I was bullied in elementary so my mom put me on homeschool. I went back to public school freshman year because a teacher put her hands on me. Then, when my brother was a freshman, I went back to public school.


    It was just a mess of events. Lol

    oh geez that sounds terrible

    you're enjoying public school now tho right? high school kids are a lot more mature (usually) ahah


    i actually miss going to school rn

    eh it's okay. I miss being able to sleep and do my work at my own pace/when I want though.


    I do love having the friends and fun though. But for me, my high school friends are so immature. Then again, I had to grow up really fast so I'm like super old and quiet (at times) while everyone is loud and obnoxious.

    i'm trying to make the most of my last year tho


    next year we'll be off in college as adults and i'm really not looking forward to that


    i'm hoping to go to prom this year too

    i didn't go last year because i thought it was a waste of money but i guess it is true that it's a thing you only do once in your life
