  • It recently came to his attention that not many positive things had been happening in Blizzardclan as of late, and despite not being a very sociable person himself, Tiger wanted to do something about this. So this is why the canine could be found sitting alone in enchanted woodlands about half an hour later, several pairs of binoculars lying only a few feet away from him. There were also a couple of field guides that went into detail about the species of birds that could be spotted in forest areas, as well as supplied drawings of each bird. You may be wondering, how were people supposed to know about the bird-watching session that he’d set up? Well, this had occurred to the male shortly after coming up with the idea, and he had ended up writing a note that described what was happening, which he then placed in the center of camp. All he had to do now was wait for more people to arrive. But in the meantime he would start to clean the pairs of binoculars, using a small rag to wipe the lenses clean of any stains.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — While Everett was often busying himself with the duties associated with tending to his garden, the ivory serval had felt his interest peaked upon coming across the note that had been settled into the middle of the busiest section of camp. It had caught him by surprise, really, for Blizzardclan had appeared in a decline of moods as of late. People had left and died as Everett had heard, and thus the tall ivory figure was rather pleased to have a break from such things. So, having done his best to clean the leaves from his pelt and from his paws, the flower-lover would make his way through the woods, eventually finding himself not far from Tigerlily. "This is a really great idea!" the serval would note with pleasure, a warm smile placed upon his gentle features.

  • Chesspieces had been doing nothing worth mentioning when he had found the note about bird-watching. It was just his luck too. Bird-watching had never been a particular thing he did. He found the whole idea silly as birds were never quite as interesting as doing the day to day things in BlizzardClan.

But, Tigerlily had clearly put some effort into this so Chesspieces thought he might as well assume him with appearing. And so, that was what the unicorn did. The tall, pale horse stood quietly behind Tigerlily. The doctor was cleaning the binocular lens, unaware of Chesspieces. A chuckle left the unicorn. "Either you are a huge fans of watching birds," He commented. "Or you're in training to become some kind of stalker."

Chesspieces wasn't sure if he was very fond of either option. "What birds are flying about today?" The unicorn picked his way over to stand beside Tigerlily, further from Everett. Despite this, the medic trainee gave a small nod in greeting to the other male.

  • Rajahcrowns himself had been a little down in the dumps, experiencing negative happenings. He knew that he could use a break to do something upbeat and leisurely, and so when he came across the note, he found himself interested in participating in this bird watching session. Arriving at the enchanted woodlands, the large ivory tiger seated himself next to Chesspieces. "Need any help?" He'd offer towards Tigerlily, watching the canine as he cleaned off the binoculars. He really would do anything to help speed up the process, so that they could get to watching birds as soon as possible. Raj knew that this would be a wonderful experience for him, and he wanted to make the best of it.

  • As much as he'd hate to admit it, it was rare that positive things occurred in Blizzardclan- at least, they didn't as much as negative things did. Sure, maybe there were some nice things, like Victor's birth a while back and perhaps a cute exchange between Blizzardclan's youngest couple, Jacob and London, but it was all usually smothered by bad things, things Pierce didn't even want to think about right now. Instead, the vice-leader approached the group of his clanmates, peering down at the note before he focused on Tiger. He had seen some friends of his birdwatching in the past, but he had never thought of doing it himself. Well, there was a first time for everything, he supposed. With a bright smile, he placed himself beside Everett, agreeing gently, "Yeah, this sounds fun! What gave you the idea to actually go birdwatching, anyway?" And as a group, of all things. Wasn't it usually a solitary activity? Pierce wouldn't really know, but it kind of seemed like it.

  • It seems like people had seen his note, for soon three people appeared from behind him, one of them being a complete stranger. He wouldn't say anything in regards to the complement, but a warm smile would make itself known, although he would attempt to hide it by tilting his head forward and continuing to clean the lenses. It seemed like this was a fruitless effort though, for Chesspeices soon made a comment that even he couldn't ignore, which caused the canine to turn around and face his clan-mates. "Isn't that what bird-watching is?" He would question in a joking manner, "Stalking birds, I mean. Someone has to do it."

Even though the bird-watching guide was only a couple of feet away, Tiger didn't bother to draw attention to it, instead looking up at the treetops and squinting. "Well, we're more likely to see blackbirds, bramblings, robins, and chaffinchs more than anything else, but you never know, perhaps we'll spot a hawk or two." Rajah was the next to speak up, and it was at that point that he put the cleaning rag down. "Oh uh- there's no need. They were in mint condition already, I was simply passing the time. You're free to pick up a pair of binoculars and start looking for birds already. There's some guides lying around if you need help identifying any of them."

It wasn't too long after he said this that another person arrived, Pierce if he remembered correctly. What gave you the idea to go bird-watching anyway? While it was true that bird-watching was normally a solitary activity, and that Tiger rarely invited other people to join him, he just felt like everyone in Blizzardclan deserved to do something light-hearted for a change. "Nothing, really. I just enjoy the sport, and since things have been... a bit dark as of lately, I decided that it wouldn't hurt to set up a group activity that everyone can participate in."

*:・゚✦ Jacob had decided to take Blue on a walk. The little bird had never really learned how to fly, unfortunately, despite Jacob's best attempts to rehabilitate him. He couldn't tell if it was because he didn't want to or because his wing was still hurt but he'd been doing his best to encourage the bird to fly. Eventually, though, he'd just sort of given up. So, when they went on walks, the little bluejay just hung out on his shoulder. He stayed at home most of the time or in the medic den. Jacob got nervous about carrying him around during ties when the clan was busy because he worried someone would try to eat the little bird he'd taken in a month or so ago. "I'll go, if I wouldn' slow ya' down too much," The boy would say, hoping Tigerlily wouldn't mind the slow way he got around in his wheelchair. "Blue wants ta' come too, if that's okay."

  • The child was covered in mud as they scrambled to stand beside Jacob, they had been making mud pies just a few minutes earlier, but hearing the voices coming from nearby, the child had dropped everything in order to see what their hero was doing. "Huff go too?" The badger asked excitedly, their rounded little ears wiggling in excitement. Huff loved to do things with others, they were all growed up, at least in their own mind, though the entire clan probably saw them as a child still, and in truth Huff was a child. They were only 5 months old, not that big. But they were growing every day. "Huff can be very quiet." They added.
