  • Plot:

Your Character meets up with Lyra either in a hospital waiting room, police station, or some place else; Depends on what the curse is and what not.

Here is a picture of Lyra:

  • I will! At an outside bench. We'll discuss more details in PM:

Lyra needed to cool off for a bit. She had gone out to sit on one of the benches outside, by herself. Don't get me wrong: She had always been a social creature. But right now, she needed to get out of there. Away from all the tension and...That. She took a deep breath and sprawled herself out to get comfortable. Well, as comfortable as you could get.

  • ( Sorry about that, had a pretty draining day in college today~ )

Liv was absent-mindedly roaming the streets, very focused on the item in her hands. A burnished bronze compass that seemed to be broke, or magic, seemingly wildly spinning with the needle flashing various different colours. This behaviour was extremely hard to explain to anyone not on 'her side' of the mist, so she avoided eye contact, apparently entranced by the compass - her rather plain expression quickly shifted to one of excitement, (or was it surprise?) when the compass settled, the needle glowing a colour somewhere between violet and red, it was hard to pin down as it seemed to shift from one end of the purple spectrum to the other.

Her gaze shooting up in the direction the compass was pointing, her eyes fixed on a girl upon a bench. A smirk upon her features, she had found her new victim friend, and she confidently strode her way over, shoving the compass out of sight into the pocket of her bomber jacket. If the girl looked up while she was making her way over, Liv would wave and smile, if not, she would have to announce herself. Talking to a stranger wasn't that weird, right? It just made you look very friendly. "Hey, you okay? You're lookin' a little stressed, if ya don't mind my sayin'." She said, offering the closest thing to a sympathetic smile that she could muster.

  • Lyra almost jumped right up and off of the bench. She sat up straight and looked at the (vaguely familiar) newcomer with a deer-in-the-headlights expression that faded as quickly as it came. "Yeah," she nodded, agreeing, "Family stuff. Something happened and I had to be here with my Dad."

The something went unexplained and unelaborated upon. This was intentional on Lyra's part.

(Did ya get my message? And it's okay!)

  • ( Ah, cool. You approve the plot then?? Do you know if Lyra will remember the 'accident' that injured her dad's leg??

And I have lessons all afternoon now, so I won't be replying for a while. )

  • Liv was a little wary that no elaboration on the situation was given, but didn't want to push it. She could always ask later, she knew this girl's colour on the compass now, so she might be able to track her down later if she got lucky. See, the compass tracked people by what their aura was like, and Liv had tweaked it so that it showed demigods and monsters. Overall a very useful tool for tracking demigods and staying out of the way of monsters.

"Ooh, sounds bad. He okay? I mean- that sounds nosy, sorry." she asked, and quickly realised the mistake. Tripping up over her words again, wouldn't her dad be pleased.

  • "It isn't my Dad. It's his girlfriend."

Lyra went for a calm, casual voice. She didn't want anyone to think she had anything to hide. When in fact, she had several. Two of which involved the aforementioned girlfriend. Did Dad figure out what happened? Or that she herself may have been involved? The blonde looked ready to move. To find a different place to sit. Or she would check on her Dad. Whatever she decided to do to avoid further questioning.

Yes. Lyra was honestly scared that the girl in front might know something.

  • ( ah, okay, yeah like she and the satyr would have been briefed before they headed out. And I'm not too sure... You can decide?? It is your character after all~ )

  • ( Well, sadly, Greek myth is just a /tiny/ bit messed up. Medea killed her kids, Electra was roped into killing her mother and step-father, Antigone got locked in a tomb for trying to help her brother and consequently killed herself... Ismene (Antigone's sister) had a nicer time, but still goes rather forgotten. Idk if I can help... I can do a bit more research?? )
