  • — Maureen had been born into SunClan, yet the canine hybrid was a face scarcely seen. She pulled her weight, yes, but she preferred to do things solo. As of late, she was beginning to grow lonely. She was nearing two years of age yet she had no friends and no one she really talked to. She explored the city in search of food, participated in a squabble or two, but felt relatively ostracized by her Clan, her own doing of course. It was time to make herself known, try to get along instead of ignoring absolutely everyone around her.

The hellish creature, though not nearly as menacing as she looked - however, she could be quite the bitch when she wanted - stepped out of the stone building she'd made her home. She stretched out her long limbs and her mouth opened in a wide yawn, exposing sharp fangs for a brief second before her jaws snapped shut yet again. Standing tall once again, Maureen surveyed her surroundings with flattened ears, cursing the twinge of nervousness she felt deep in the pit of her stomach.

  • Eden was, for all sense of the word, innocent. Her own issues were steadily growing more worrisome, especially for a child so young, and though at first things could scare her, it wasn't hard for Eden to find some sort of nicety within a scenario or a person. She hadn't really seen Maureen, mind, and though the fact that they were a rather large creature, in comparison to the small winged feline, maybe she was nice enough, right? Curiously, upon seeing Maureen looking around nervously as she was out exploring, the Princess would lightly pad her way up, her head tilting softly as she surveyed the hybrid. "Good Morning!" she would chime, albeit a little bit awkwardly and unsure of what to truly say to someone she didn't know.

Selena had never seen Maureen before, most likely because she was only four months old and hadn't met a lot of the clan because of that. She had stayed in the pyramid for most of the time in her childhood. Finally, she had started being out and about, and it was during one of her trips outside that she spotted the hellhound hybrid- and Eden. The winged child came pattering over to stand beside her sister. Maureen was quite an intimidating-looking creature; dark as night, large, a mouthful of sharp, white teeth.

Selena was used to smaller creatures. Herself, for instance, and her adopted siblings around her age (an exception being Brynhild) were quite small, and her older clanmates weren't that huge either. It was a little strange, having to crane her neck so far to look at Maureen's face, but Selena could handle it. She straightened her posture. "Who're you?" Selena's voice was expectant and curious, her orange eyes wide.

  • Diana, too, was unfamiliar with Maureen, though she only assumed it was due to the fact that she herself was still rather new to the clan. There were many people she had yet to meet or talk at length with, and she was eager to get to know everyone in order to remedy this. And thus, she approached with pricked ears offering everyone present a little smile. "Hello, my princesses," she said to the children, "and... what's your name? I'm Diana Targaryen."

  • sunclan was full of strangers, which wasn't very surprising considering that he wasn't from here. but the prospect still brought him unease, so the child had been trying to avoid any unnecessary interaction ever since he got here. it wasn't like he could interact with people anyway, the first reason being that he couldn't talk for more than three or four sentences without coughing up blood, which wasn't a pretty sight for anyone around to see it. so instead of going up and talking to maureen like everyone was, birdpaw just decided to watch the conversation from afar, a twinge of regret flashing in his eyes as he watched everyone greet each other.
