great. what happened now? last thing that the femininate feline remembered, he was trying to sleep off a massive head ache from being hungover, after drinking too much. this happened at least twice a week, so it wasn't anything that he wasn't used to. but, he fell asleep, and now? well, he was stuck in a cave with someone he had never met before, or seen. maybe because his eyes were still closed. that probably had something to do with the reasoning of the inability to see his attacker. the savannah cat had felt a change in environment, however, and he knew. this wasn't his home. a weak since came from the feline when he kicked, feeling claws scrap against him, which caused more blood to paint his fur. this wasn't very good, now was it? flynn was already very sore from previous injury, that he had not been awake from, so the fear of what would happen next, crept up and was sitting in him like the weight of gulit.
why had things like this happened to the poor feline? what had the savannah done to deserve this? in some odd cases, where this may of been a justified thing, they would of said he simple did nothing which is why he deserves it. something about if you aren't helping the problem, you are the problem type shit. but in the logical mind, he had done nothing to deserve it, so why was he here? his attack was simply one of those who thought the problematic people were ones who weren't helping at all. flynn has just been caught on an odd day. something like "wrong place wrong time" and boy, was this one of those fucking moments.
"why.. why are you doing this..?" the weak feeling savannah cat asked, his golden eyes peeking back open from a long blink. the hungover cat couldn't really get a grip on what was going on, but he felt like he would very soon. flynn felt like the wolf would no longer hold back, as his gaze drafted over to the fire, where something was burning, other than the fire itself, from the amount of smoke coming off the fire.

The obsidian wolf's eyes narrowed on the Savannah cat as he considered the question rather deeply. It sort of just hit him like those big metal machines humans tended to use. A week ago the pup would have never even considered such a thing to a non-combatant. Now however his view of the world seemed to have shifted rather dramatically. Everything was... dimmer. It was like the compassion he had within him had been sapped and an empty void had been left in it's place. There were plenty of reasons he could make excuses for why he was doing this. He could try and convince himself that he was doing this for a just cause and that the feline deserved it. He could tell himself that it was all just a means to an end on the way to righteousness. Deep down though Kayn knew all of that was a load of bullshit. The one and only reason he was doing this was because he simply wanted to. Something inside him desired to cause agony to another creature and no matter how much he tried to suppress the urge it was far to strong. The black wolf had always had a darkness within his heart, but now it was like his inhibitions had been completely removed. It was quite freeing to an extent the pup had never felt before.
"Why am I doing this? Well, that's honestly a great question. After giving it some thought I realized... I'm doing this for a lot of reasons. Because I can. Because you can't stop me. Because the world needs to understand that people who do things like this should be stopped. Maybe if you weren't a drunk you could have stopped me yourself. I'm simply teaching you a lesson," Kayn mused nonchalantly as he walked towards the billowing fire. Carefully he lowered his head to grasp the end of a brand in his mouth, the other end a glowing red 'K' that seemed to have been scrapped together as the letter was quite jagged. The young wolf wasn't skilled in torture so he had no idea if what he was doing would make a permanent mark the way he was going to use it, but he did know for sure it was going to hurt like a motherfucker. "You know, you're kind of cute actually. It's a damn shame I'm going to ruin you by the time we're done here," The black wolf said whimsically as a rather menacing smirk played across his visage.
Without another moment of hesitation he thrust the heated metal rod into the feline's pelt on his back right leg. The sounds of agony mixed beautifully with the sickening smell of singing fur to the black wolf for the first few moments before he pulled back with his eyes wide. For a moment he dropped the brand back into the fire. What the hell was he doing? How would torturing a defenseless cat who was virtually useless to any valuable means going to change anything? As he questioned the situation the delightful sanguine desire seemed to take over once more. Perhaps it didn't matter if the torture would accomplish anything other than fun. That's how the Blackheart Rogues and Cartel lived their life usually. Fourthwall told him that only a true monster could acquire the power to do as they pleased. There was something horrifyingly delightful about causing another pain and the more the Savannah cat yowled the more in control he felt. This was his domain and for the time being the chained cat was a plaything for him to acquaint the canine with the horrors of the world. It just so happened that in this moment they were being caused by him.

flynn pushed his ears back, in a weak manner when he was called a drunk. he didn't think he was a drunk. he thought he just had fun a little too much. "i'm not a drunk... in not usually like that.. I.. i just had a bit too much.." he argued, his golden gaze avoiding looking at the other. as much as he wanted to get up and run away, the chains held him down. fear filled his gaze as the other picked up the iron, and he winced, moving over as much as the shackles would allow him.
he clenched his eyes, and his jaw, ready to feel the burning pain, but when his was called cute, his muscles relaxed a bit. he wasn't expecting to be called cute by his kidnapper, which is why he turned his gaze to the other, before he felt the sharp burning pain. the scream that came from the savannah was blood curling. bone chilling. it was loud and draining. he panted, tears streaming down his feminine face, whimpering quietly. god, he felt weak. he had never felt this weak, and he had been through hell for a few months of his live, but this was worse. he had just been branded!
he sniffed, a shaky response escaping. "i've..done nothing...to.. deserve..this..y-you... are...a...horrible...being" flynn said, clearly weaker than before, the pain in his leg unbearable. part of him thought he probably deserved this for being they way he was, with his major drinking problem, but he refused to believe that hurting him was the logical thing to do.

Oh how the feline's echoing screams ignited something primal within the rather mentally unstable canine. It felt incredibly empowering to know that he was the cause of all this. All of this agony was purely made by his paw, and his paw alone. Each and every time the Savannah cat whimpered it was because he had made him whimper. The brand that was now on vivid display was his mark on this poor creature. It was... exhilarating.
No, it was wrong! Kayn knew full well that he should stop what he was doing yet he couldn't stop himself. The false hope his comment on the Savannah cat's appearance had caused only made the screams after more delightful, and he knew how fucked that was as he replayed it in his mind. Despite that though he knew he wasn't going to stop himself. The darkness within him felt like it was almost feeding off of the negative energy and it felt far too good to stop it.
The black wolf quietly padded over to a nearby pool of water where he had stored some moss clumps near. The cave was rather silent besides the whimpers and words of the feline, the crackling of the fire, and the swish of the water as Kayn submerged the foliage in it. The moss sucked up as much of the water as it possibly could before becoming absolutely drenched. With the dripping moss clutched firmly in his jaw the wolf made his way over to Flynn, swaying his head as if listening to some kind of music that no one else could hear.
With Flynn injured, tired, and weak Kayn knew that no matter what he was in no danger from the small cat. The wolf dropped the moss into one of his paws so the could do what he wanted to do. Rather softly he pressed himself up against the cat so the other would feel the warmth of his fiery soul, leaning his head so that his jaw was next to the Savannah cat's extremely perceptive ears. "You say you've done nothing, but haven't we all? From the moment I saw you I could tell you were a drunk. The smell clings to your... beautiful fur... rather strongly. What else have you done wrong I wonder... You'll learn to be better for me won't you?" Kayn quitely whispered to the feline who he was enjoying the act of torturing. Reinforcing to himself that he was doing this for a purpose, no matter how bullshit that statement is, was the only thing that allowed the canine to keep doing it. He knew it was terribly wrong, but as long as had something good come of it then it would be okay.
Kayn shifted himself so that his maw was near the location Flynn had been branded, dragging his claws along the other roughly as he moved. Carefully he dabbed the scorched flesh with the soaking clump of moss, doing his best to take care of the wound. He wasn't a doctor, but he had picked up a few tricks. "Am I really that horrible cute kitty? I'm just trying to help you is all. How about you tell me your name so we can get off on the right foot this time?" Kayn softly asked as he treated the branded flesh. Playing with the feline's feelings was almost as good as the screams of pain that usually followed after.
Then a smirk crossed his face as he conjured his scythe Rhaast, a demonic weapon which apparently held a demon within it. Telekineticlly he controlled the weapon, drawing the blade across the Savannah cat's spine lightly so that it would just barely draw blood without to much pain. The weapon seemed to begin to glow a crimson red as it tasted the blood of the feline, and Kayn's mind was flooded with Rhaast's psychotic growls of joy. For a moment the wolf froze as he heard the rather fucked up happiness of the demon. The way it laughed in his mind through the telepathic link the two shared about the pain of the other sounded so much like the wolf himself. Kayn pulled the weapon away from the cat and refocused his attention on treating the wound with one paw, but the other he couldn't help but dig into the feline's flank. Power was so... addictive.

you'll learn better from me, won't you? momentarily, the twisted words stuck in his head. while he could say that he very much would of, it would of been a lie. something he often had to do, when it came to talking about his habit and how bad it truly was. his body immediately tensed, as he felt kayn's claws drag down his fragile, skinny body, and he let out a weak scream. it was not as loud as the previous, as he was getting too weak to even scream anymore. the claws in his skin felt almost like fur. almost burned as much as the branding iron on his soft fur, dwelving down and touching every nerve that is possibly could reach. this was just a horrible experience. the savannah blinked his eyes slowly at the question. was he really that horrible? as a matter of fact, he was. probably worse than flynn could even imagine, but flynn wasn't exactly in a position where he could disagree and have a change of being hurt again. "f..flynn.." he breathed out, his voice clearly strained.
as the scythe touched his spine, he only tensed as it hurt enough for him to close his eyes trying to turn his gaze away, but not enough to scream. though the screaming and whimpering wasn't far off, as he for the claws being dug into his flank as the wolf treated his wound. it wasn't very pleasant. he just wanted this to stop already. "pl..please...just stop...i will do anything... just...please.." he begged out, his eyes clearly showing the fear and pain that now controlled his actions. gods, he had wished jackie was here to take him away from all of this. but jackie probably didn't even know he was missing. yet, that is.

The black wolf withdrew his razor sharp claws from Flynn's side, carefully considering the name and the proposition that came with it shortly after. Flynn would do anything huh? Well, anything was what someone who couldn't handle something anymore said. Anything was a very encompassing word that had a lot of power behind. Based on that response alone Kayn had to assume that the torture was working quite effectively and that brought a smile to his face, and yet moments later it twisted into a frown. The black wolf was enjoying the act he was committing, but the guilt of it weighed on him like a massive boulder.
Kayn left the damp moss on the brand wound then shifted his form to have his maw near the Savannah cat's ear again, pressing himself closely to enjoy the warmth of the other. There was something sick in his mind that made him enjoy the company of the very feline he was causing untold amounts of pain to. "Listen Flynn... I don't want to hurt you anymore than I have to. But I need to. In a different life perhaps we could have been friends. Maybe somehow we still can. I'm truly sorry," The demon pup whispered softly as he lightly slid his the tip of his claws across the cat's throat. Not enough to draw blood, but enough pressure so that the feeling of control would be there. Whether Flynn liked it or not Kayn had no doubt in his mind that he owned the feline. His apology was genuine, but the bliss that came from the power he felt was far too strong to simply give it up. Causing agony felt so fucking good and he hated himself for it.
"After I'm done playing with your cute little body I'll send you home so long as you behave. You said you'd do anything so tell me all the things you hate about yourself. If you don't I'll hurt you more. If I feel like you're lying I'll hurt you even worse. I'm going to put you back together, but first I have to break you apart," The black snarled in a tone that echoed menacingly throughout the cave. Every part of his body was screaming to rip the cat apart and bathe in his blood, but the fraction of humanity left he desperately clung to prevented him from acting on that desire. Kayn always thought his mind was his strongest asset yet now it felt as if he was fighting for control of his very own thoughts. A month ago he would have never come close to doing such vile things. Now? Now it was all he could do to prevent himself from doing worse. The agonizing torture was the only thing that fed the darkness in him enough to keep Flynn alive.

//my poor flynn. they should be friends, but kayn would probably be a very controlling friend aha. flynn would probably be scared shitless of kayn.
flynn visibly tensed as the wolf pushed his body against him, stealing the bits of body heat the feline had left. he gulped, as he felt the sharp claw on his throat. he was scared. the wolf could easily kill him with one move, and flynn couldn't do anything about it. the feline would of done anything for a shot, just to forget about this. "i fucking hate that I drink so much, okay? i hate it. sometimes i wanna stop but just being drunk and forgetting everything feels so good.. I'm sorry.." he breathed out in a shaken manner. hopefully this would be enough for him to go home.
//rushed. Sorry about that.

(OOC: No need to apologize! You're all good lol.
And yeah they should totally be friends later! I think it would be a really interesting dynamic, especially with what Kayn's done/doing to Flynn. I imagine if Flynn made a joke and Kayn shot an irritated glance the other would tense up like "Oh shit..." even though he wouldn't do anything to Flynn anymore. It'd be an interesting friendship to say the least.
I also might have Kayn have a one-way crush on Flynn as well lol.)Every single reaction he forced out of the feminine feline was extremely entertaining on one paw, and empowering on the other paw. If torturing someone always felt this good he knew he was going to have a hard time convincing himself in the future not to do that to someone. At the same time though, hearing Flynn berate himself, he was struck with empathy like a truck. Physical pain was one thing, but this? He had taken it too far. The Savannah cat didn't deserve to be torn apart physically and mentally like this. Other than the clear drinking problem Flynn seemed like a perfectly good guy. Torture should be saved for those that deserve. Kayn knew he shouldn't indulge the dark desires in his heart that screamed at him to cause others pain, but at least if he was going to do so he should focus it on those that deserved be flayed alive.
The wolf retracted his claws from the others neck, gently laying his paw over the other's considerably smaller paw in comfort. Gently and carefully he licked the others wounds on his flank that had been recently opened by a certain shadowy furred wolf, doing his best to clean the injury. After a few moments of that he turned his attention back to Flynn, standing up carefully as to not cause the other more harm. "I... I'm sorry... You have your problems clearly, but you didn't deserve this... I hate the fact that I enjoyed doing that to you so much Flynn. It just feels so good to hurt another, and some part of me told me that doing this was the right thing," The black wolf explained as he looked down on the feline below him. He slowly began undoing all of the shackles that held Flynn down, keeping his eye on the cat as he did so. The Savannah cat was far too weak physically in general let alone after being wounded to do anything, but it was still best to be careful. Especially after what he had done.
"You're free to go if you wish. Or if you'd like to stay here while you heal... I'll try my best not to hurt you anymore Flynn. You're drinking habit disgusts me, but you certainly don't deserve more punishment," Kayn relented as he curled up next to the fire alone, different colored eyes both keeping a watchful sight on the cat as he laid down. He was giving the other his freedom, but he wasn't going to simply turn his back and let Flynn have vengeance for free. As he gazed upon the cat's wounds he couldn't help but feel guilty at what he had done. Moments ago it had felt so good to do. Now all he felt was internal conflict. Was this what he had allowed himself to become? Was he destined to simply become the very things he sought to destroy with nothing more than empty lies to justify that what he was doing was the right thing? No, he wouldn't allow that. Flynn would be the first and last innocent he would bring unnecessary agony upon if he could help it, especially when the feline hadn't even had a chance to defend himself. The wolf said he was disgusting with Flynn's drinking habit... in reality he was more disgusted with himself.

oml, yes. one side crushes are so cute, tbfh.))
flynn almost buckled when the chains were unhooked from him, but he caught himself. he avoided the gaze of the other as he explained why he was hurt. kayn couldn't make it up to him. this was a terrible thing to do to anyone, deserving or not. he let out a shaky breath, tears streaming down his cheeks. he lifted his paw, trying to step forward, but his body proved too weak, and he just sat down. he couldn't do it. he just could not walk away yet.
"my drinking habit disgusts me too... y-you dont have to make me feel bad that I'm an alcoholic. i.. I already know..." the feline said, sitting down, weakly. he was still in a tone of pain, and it hurt moving any muscle. his eyes moved to his flank, where the other had tried to clean. he had not realized how deep these wounds were. and he knew that this was gonna take time to heal, and that he would he limping for quite some time.
flynn didnt want to stay here. not at all. he was deathly afraid of what may happen if he did, but he was way too weak to go anywhere. his paw slowly lifted as he wiped the tears that stained his face. his eyes moved to kayn who was watching him like a hawk, which made him shift uncomfortably.
"SPEECH" THOUGHT

(OOC: Right?? It'll be adorable, especially coming from this angsty boy lol.)
The shadow of a wolf lied still as he gazed at the broken feline not to far in front of him, eyes almost glowing in the dark as the fire cast just enough light on his face to cause them to reflect. Kayn took a very long blink that caused his eyes to be closed for several moments before opening up with an accompanying sigh. Flynn didn't need to tell him that she shouldn't have done that either. The wolf pup's mind was wracked with a conflict between the crushing guilt of his actions, and the desire to do it all over again. He absolutely despised that he felt this way. Not only was he not strong enough to overcome the darkness, but he was also to much of a weakling to accept it in full. Instead he was trapped between light and dark as his mind slowly tore itself asunder with little he could do about it.
Watching Flynn cry brought another stab of regret, the pang of guilt cutting into him almost as deep as he had cut into the Savannah cat physically. His actions had been monstrous. There was no disputing that. Nothing he could ever do would cleanse him of what he had done. Similarly it was likely that not even the forgetful mist of alcohol could make Flynn forget the pain, physically and emotionally, that he had sustained. At one point Kayn had viewed himself as a dark angel hellbent on bringing justice to the world at any cost, but now he wasn't so sure. Justice didn't involve reveling in the pure agony of another that you brought with you own hands. Especially not an innocent with nothing more than a drinking problem.
"... I know... I'm sorry Flynn. I know I can't atone for what I've done, but I am truly sorry. I just couldn't stop myself. it felt sooo good to see you writhing in agony... I reget everything. Drinking wasn't the reason I did this to you Flynn. You didn't deserve any of this," The canine softly spoke, tone filled to the brim with emotions he had never experienced before. Grief. True sadness. Regret. These were things the young pup were unfamiliar and they drove him to the brink of insanity. His heart screamed at him to roll into the fire so he'd never do such a thing again, and yet his mind whispered to him that the pleasures of true suffering. He hated this. He hated himself. The wolf wanted nothing more than for Flynn to heal so he wouldn't be constantly reminded of the wounded cat's existence, but clearly the other was to injured to even walk. That only made him feel even worse about the situation.
"I-If... If there's anything I can possibly d-do to make it up to you... I..." The wolf began shakily before he broke down crying, tears streaming down his face. He moved his paws to hide his visage from the feline, not wishing to be seen in such a pathetic circumstance. His black form shifted as his lungs pressed out the necessary force needed to cry. Kayn just couldn't handle it anymore. He was worse than the very things he hated. All he had ever wanted to do was help people yet here he found himself needlessly ripping apart Flynn. The feline even seemed like a relatively cool person. He was polite and seemed sweet, and he was rather cute. And none of that had stopped him from forcefully bringing tears to the others eye. And then he had to gall to sit here and cry about hurting someone else? If Kayn had been in Flynn's position he would have spit in disgust. The wolf pup tended to despise weakness, and he had become the very definition of it because he couldn't handle his own emotions.

i'm in love with this already <3))
was...was the wolf crying? wow.. this was truly unexpected. flynn guessed kayn really did have a heart in there somewhere. of course, flynn already knew that but this was just confirming for him. taking a breath, flynn began to answer the question which he was asked in the first place. "just take me home.. please.." he responded, his gold gaze moving to the crimson ones before moving away again. he didn't know how to respond to his attacker crying. That made him feel bad for being so weak.

(OOC: I'm glad you're enjoying it! I'm having so much fun with these two lol.)
Kayn's tear filled eyes peeked from the cover of his paws, sniffling a bit as he tried to regain his composure. Kayn knew that now wasn't the time to be crying like a little bitch. If Flynn wanted to go home then that's what he'd do for the cat. Taking the feline back to the place he was supposed to be anyway wasn't going to fix his mistakes, but it was a start. Part of him wished he'd never see the Savannah cat ever again so he wouldn't be reminded of the things he had done, especially the branding that would be a physical monument to his sins... However there was another part of him that still hoped beyond hope that the two could, in some insane twist of fate, become friends. The black wolf could never accept that he'd deserve a friend from someone selfless enough to forgive his past transgressions, but he desired the companionship nevertheless."I um...y-yeah... I can do that for you. Are you okay to walk?" The shadow pup questioned as he struggled to maintain some semblance of power to his tone. Anyone who wasn't deaf could tell how badly he failed though. It was clear that the wolf was in the weakest place he had ever been in emotionally even if physically he was as strong as ever. Kayn silently questioned what the point of emotions were if all they ever did was get in the way of progress. Pleasure, desire, sadness, hate, jealousy, greed. They were all things that seemed to just get in the way. One emotion led to another and now the the black canine was wallowing in a metaphorical pit of self loathing after ruthlessly harming someone who had done nothing to deserve such punishment.
Was this how Flynn felt when he had been pressed about his drinking habits, something which now was obvious was indeed a problem he hated about himself? The thought only made the wolf feel even worse. Even after all the torturing and the personal attacks, the Savannah cat was still being polite. There was no venom in the feline's words when he spoke. Just pain and exhaustion. If there was any resentment behind his voice Kayn certaintly hadn't picked up on it. The crimson eyed assailant couldn't help but admire Flynn's resolve and attitude in the face of dire adversity. How had he allowed himself to torture such a kind soul?

He shook his head. his legs hurt too much, and he didn't know where to go from here. kayn was just going to have to take him back, the same way he got him there in the first place. "can we go.. like..now? frisk is gonna wonder where i am.." he asked quietly, flinching just in case the other had plans to hit him or something like that. for all flynn knew, kayn could of been judt been faking to pull at his heart strings.

(OOC: OMFG! That would be absolutely amazing. I could totally see their friendship being like that lol.)
A slight frown crossed the wolf's visage at the newly acquired information. If Flynn couldn't walk, which it was now made apparent that he could not, the journey was going to be a lot more... dangerous. Kayn was hoping the Savannah could would have just been able to support his own weight on the trek and merely use the wolf as guidance, but apparently he had inured the feline far worse than he imagined. The realization of that fact only made him feel even worse about what he had done which was impressive because the guilt was already eating the pup alive.
"Well you see... I, um, can... However it's a little bit complicated," Kayn began to explain as he flashed Flynn a look of sympathy. The cat was right about his leader wondering where he had gone, which certainly wasn't a good thing, but the act of getting the feline back also wouldn't be a good thing. Before it hadn't been an issue to bring him back because the wolf didn't really care about Flynn's safety, but now... Well, Kayn had a personal vested interest in the Savannah cat. Not only did the canine have to admit that he sorta admired the guy's tenacity, but protecting the cat was his one possible ticket towards redemption.
The obsidian wolf heaved a heavy sigh, standing to his feet and stretching. His eyes seemed to hold a small amount of fear as he looked at Flynn, worry written across his expression. "Do not panic okay? I'm not strong enough to carry you all the way like this so... Promise me you'll be obedient and everything should be fine," Kayn warned in advance as he continued to stretch a bit. The black wolf had a decent amount of control over his new form, but the bloodlust was so much more incredibly strong in it. Kayn was certain that eventually he could control it fully however that wasn't the case yet. The last thing he wanted to do was accidentally snap and hurt or even kill Flynn after offering the Savannah cat freedom.

the feline just nodded quietly. alright. so this wasn't going to be a simple task. But he didn't much care. all the savannah wanted, was to go home. he needed the have sweet taste of alcohol on his tongue, as it ran down his throat. he needed comfort from his boyfriend, and how was he to do that, if he was still here?
flynn shifted his weight again, his gold gaze dull, yet still heavy with fear and pain. this was all too much for him. he didn't know how he was going to cope with it, other than drinking himself nearly to death.
"SPEECH" THOUGHT

Kayn waited several silent moments after Flynn nodded in agreement, eyes narrowed in a piercing gaze. The vibrant blue of his left eye and the scarlet blaze that was his right eye highlighted the very obvious duality and the internal struggle that the wolf was struggling to stay in control of. Finally his stare relented with an accompanying sigh as he shut his eyes firmly.
Suddenly there was the sound of crackling energy and swirling of wind despite being within a well sheltered cave. Kayn surrendered himself to the darkness that he constantly kept at bay, claiming its' twisted power for his own. The wolf pup's form shifted into a blackened shadowy mass, somehow even darker than the canine's usual pitch black fur. The shadows swirled and swam seemingly at random, and the darkness seemed nigh impenetrable. Eventually the wisps of obsidian nothingness coalesced fully into a massive direwolf of sorts, although it was a far cry from truly emulating the animal. Instead it was if it was merely some sort of three-dimensional shadow given physical form.
Kayn took a few slow, agonizing steps towards the Savannah cat. Now both of his eyes were a vibrantly glowing crimson that seemed to somehow pierce the unending blackness that was the rest of his form. The black shadow creature stopped as he looked down at the defenseless cat below him, bone-white claws extending like razor sharp blades from his paws. Everything inside him screamed to devour the feline and put an end to his internal struggle for good. He could sense the fear radiating off the cat as if it was another sense he had not known before. Agony, fear, pain; it was all completely known to him and he was drawn to it. Part of him wanted to simply give in. Shredding Flynn would have been the easiest thing he had done in months. An even stronger part of him however firmly resisted that though, claws sheathing like a cat and his left eye once again becoming blue.
"I... will take you home, Flynn. This is... harder than it has ever been to control... Do not despair lest you which me to devour your heart after mutilating you. I can smell your fear like a coward who pissed himself," Kayn growled darkly as he lowered his massive body closer to the feline, his voice now sounding as if was possibly two people speaking. The demon wolf took in a long sniff by Flynn's neck, reveling in both the aura and the scent of the other. It drove him absolutely insane. It was everything he could possibly do to resist his temptations. The wolf wanted to give in and do as he pleased with the cat. "I will endeavor not to hurt you to the best of my abilities, but you're scent and more importantly you're aura are so... intoxicating," The shadow whispered quietly in Flynn's ear before pulling away with a toothy ivory smile that contrasted immensely with his otherwise abyss like form.
Kayn closes his eyes briefly to regain his composure, taking in a deep breath and letting it go. After he focused his gaze on Flynn. With graceful movements he began to slide his maw under the cat's belly and carefully forced himself under the feline so he was resting on the wolf's back. Considering how large Kayn was now in comparison to the generally small Savannah cat it was rather easy. In his true body there was no way he could carry Flynn all the way back to the sanctuary, but now it would be rather trivial. The blackened shadow wolf barely noticed the weight on his shoulders, but he knew he would have to move slowly to avoid his traveler slipping off.

his thought drifted back to when kayn had told him to stay calm, but who could when there was a big shadow would with crimson colored eyes standing right beside him. a deep breath emerged from his lips as he watched the other come closer to him. he was definitely trying to contain the fear dripping off his fur.
his scent was intoxicating? that was.. new. it made him feel rather uncomfortable but he didn't have a choice in the matter, did he? the skinny, fragile savannah felt himself being lifted off the ground. the feminine feline closed his eyes. soon, hopefully, he would be home. this was the only thing keeping him from freaking the hell out.
"SPEECH" THOUGHT

With a bit of encouragement from the terrible thought that failing to return Flynn might result in a war with The Sanctuary, the wolf managed not to simply drop the cat off his back and have a deliciously free meal. Instead he trudged to the opening of the cave and decided to set out. The faster he returned the Savannah cat the less he'd have to worry about dealing with, and hopefully put an end to the insatiable hunger he'd been feeling for the last few days.
It was rather dark outside, but that's just how Kayn liked it. His black fur usually helped him remain unseen at night as it was; the shadow form though? It was an entirely different level. It generally seemed as if he blended into the surroundings save for the two glowing eyes, one blue and one red, that marked where the creature's face was. Kayn doubted anyone or anything would even attempt to approach such an unnatural being as him. Still, one could never be too safe and so the wolf kept a vigilant eye on his immediate area to ensure his passengers safety.
It wasn't too long before they reached the border of the Sancutary, perhaps no more than a few hours. Kayn's new form was extremely fast, but the energy drain on him was equally as taxing. By the time the two reached the area that marked Flynn's homeland he was practically about to collapse. Each step he could had an obvious sluggishness to it as if it was about to simply give way at any moment. Well, if anything good came of the situation, the pup had an idea of how far he could currently push his shadow form. "We're... here..." The wolf pup forced out, chest heaving with effort as he did so. He was grateful to have been forgiven enough to at least bring Flynn back home... But he knew that was nowhere near penance for what he had already done. Nor what he would likely do in the future. Kayn was met with the consideration that perhaps he was just a bad person at heart. Bad people could still do good things if they tried their hardest though right?
As Kayn attempted to take a few more steps deeper into the territory he fell with a thud despite trying his hardest to stay upright. With another burst of crackling energy the wolf reverted to his regular puppy form, exhausted beyond belief with Flynn's body atop him. Instead of saying anything Kayn merely groaned as he struggled to maintain consciousness. He had definitely pushed himself to the brink over a stupid attempt at redemption. No one would forgive him so why did it matter? It was far too late to go back now though as the wolf had collapsed under the weight of his own decision.

flynn could tell the other was struggling. he assumed that being in such form was draining, but what could he do about it? while he was trying to suppress his fear of the other, his nose twitched as the familiar scents drifted because into his airway. he closed his eyes momentarily. he was home. he was going to get off, but when the other collapsed, while flynn was still on his back, the savannah was immediately concerned. despite what the other had done to him, flynn was way too nice to not help him. the skinny cat pulled himself off the other, standing weakily on his legs, nudging the onyx colored pup with his nose. "a-are you okay? d-do I need to take you to my house so you can heal?"
