The sparky loner was at it again! She has gotten her thick furred tail caught in a thorned vine-y bush while she was walking back home. It would take a lifetime to get herself untangled again. She starts to gently knaw at the vine as her body was twisted in an uncomfortable position.
Overly happy loner? Sarcastic tom that's also fluffy? It's more likely than you think

Russet fur barely rustled by the wind as it blew gently through the undergrowth. Muscles rippling under his coat as he prowled the forest in search of prey, paw steps silent along the leaf litter.
Sounds of something trapped caught their attention, ears flicking to pinpoint the source. He glided silently through the undergrowth finding a strange marked cat, somehow having caught her tail in a thorn bush(?).
"Would ya like sum help there, miss?" He questioned.
-
She jumped and just stared at the tom. It had been awhile since she saw someone other than her super duper best bestie Single Blade, she didn't know how to react. After a few moments of awkward silence, she nodded. Her tail tried to flick and she winced from the slight pain.
-
The chaussie's tail flicked sympathetically as she jumped, clearly startled by his appearance.
"How on earth did ya get yaself in this situation in the first place?" He mewed, gently tugging her tail free with expert paws. After checking to make sure there were no thorns embedded in her skin, he stepped back.
-
"I wasn't really paying too much attention to anything." She giggles nervously and sits down, looking at him. Her head tilts as her fur floofs up. She seemed excited to see another face, her eyes brightly than the night stars.
-
Flame blinked. How on earth? "How long have ya been out here alone? Where's ya parents at child?" He asked, growing concerned. Shouldn't her mother's yowls have reached him by now?
-
"My mum and pa live in the mountains! But I don't." She doesn't seem to understand that others don't just leave home and grow up alone. "Where do you come from??" She moves close to his face, the rune markings around her eyes more visible now.
-
In the mountains?!? What kind of sick- his thoughts were cut off abruptly as she asked him a question in return, coming closer to him. Her markings were marvelous looking, better then his bland looking coat. Sighing softly, his gaze met hers. The poor thing was out here all alone, and was barely an adult, much less a kit from the nursing den...
"I'm from an upwalker place. But the forest seemed a much better place then stone dens, and fake trees and ThunderPaths." He mewed.
-
"I've never been to one of those places. They sound amazing!" Her eyes light up as she only gets more excited. "I live in a clearing with my bestie best friend!! He's grumpy and doesn't let me go to those kinda places for some reasons."
-
His whiskers twitched in amusement. "That's cause they're dangerous dear. Upwalkers have monsters that can flatten a cat in a heartbeat." He mewed in response.
So she wasn't totally alone. But shouldn't this friend of hers have come looking for her? "So where is this friend of yours?" He mewed, licking a paw.
-
"He's out hunting, I think-a-dink!" She purrs and lays down, curling her paws under her extremely fluffed self. She keeps watching him, already trusting this stranger. She seems just so.. naive to the dangers of her world.
-
Think-a-dink?!? Who says that? He quirked a nonexistent brow. "Well... then. I'm Flame, and ya are...?" He mewed.
-
"I'm Rune!" She's very proud of her name it seems. "It's nice to meet you, Flame!!" She mews and boops his nose.
-
"It's nice to meet ya too, Rune." He replied, just as her paw lightly tapped his nose. An aptly fitting name too it seemed. He stretched out now, turning his hind quarters slightly sideways, totally relaxed now. "So about this friend of yars, Do they have a name?" He inquiried.
-
"Yepper!!! His name is Single Blade." She wiggled around from how hyper she is, her tail hitting him in the face. The rune markings down her back seemed to get lighter as she moved into the shadows.
-
Single Blade?? He opened his mouth to ask her another question, just as her tail came seemingly out of no where, and whacked him full across the face, effectively silencing him.
This kit has far too much energy! And how on earth did she get from the mountains and all the way out here on her own??
She disappeared into the shadows and the markings down her back seemed to brighten... how odd..
"Well ya sure have a lot of energy! " he mewed, standing up again to follow her.
-
"I do??" She looks at him and bounces around him. Her tail flails around excitedly as she trips over it and face plants, giggling. She looks up at him again and giggles louder.
-
"Yes, ya do." He replied, watching her. A purr of amusement erupted within his as she fell over twice, giggling the entire time. "Are ya ok?" Had she always been like this? Was that why they'd just tossed her down the mountains?
-
"I'm alright!" She shakes off the dirt and sits up, her eyes brighter than the sun itself. Her tail lashes and curls up, starting to fall asleep.
//And this is where I say good night, my friend. Sleep well!!//
-
She clearly was an odd one. "If Ya say so Rune." He mewed, giving a soft lick to her head.
//good night new bestie
