Rania started humming softly. She then looks up at Kylo. "Tell me something Kylo." she said softly.

Rania started humming softly. She then looks up at Kylo. "Tell me something Kylo." she said softly.
(that sounds awesome. I love the idea of him being forced to work with and get along with Leia and face his past)
Kylo blinked in surprise before gazing down at her gently. "Tell you something?" he asked softly with a small smile. "What sort of something?"
(Awesome.)
"What is your favorite place to be?" Rania asked, turning around so her back was pressed against him. "A desert? A lush forest? Or maybe a plant covered in meadows and mountains?" She tilted her head up to face him. "Perhaps a planet covered in snow?"
Kylo gazed down at her, his surprise lingering for a moment before his face became thoughtful. "All this time I've never stopped to think about it," he admitted softly, as he rested his chin against his fist. "Or to enjoy the scenery.. but.. I've always been partial to snow," Kylo confessed, tilting his head away shyly. "When I was a little boy... it was my favorite thing... running out on snowy days." He smiled softly at the memory.
Rania's smile brightened more. "I've always enjoyed the snow as well. It was a rare thing on my home planet. But when it did snow, we didn't have to work. We all got to play. I can remember standing there, my tongue stuck out, catching the little flakes and feeling them hit my skin." She looked away, blushing some. "I use to beg my siblings to describe the world to me. But even with their best efforts, I was always disappointed. I could never quiet envision it right. Not in the way I saw it in my dreams." She had never admitted that to anyone before, but she trusted him not to tell another soul. He wouldn't betray her like that.
There was a soft knock on the door. A minute later it was opened slightly, and a young girl poked her head in. "General Leia wishes to speak to you two." she said nervously. Her eyes were wide. Rania frowned slightly; she didn't want to leave Kylo's embrace.
Kylo smiled down at her softly. "That sounds wonderful," he murmured. "I wish I could have been there to play in the snow with you." He paused, then looked over at the girl with an irritated expression. "Can't she come here then?"
The girl flinched. "Sh-she is wanting you to come to a meeting or something. I don't know." she muttered, looking anywhere but at them. Rania sighed, clearly not pleased either. "Come on Kylo. Let's just go. The sooner we do, the sooner we can leave." she told him softly. She didn't want to cause more trouble than they already had.
Kylo sighed and murmured, "Fine." He glanced back at the girl, his eyes softening, and murmured gently, "Thank you very much for coming to get us. I apologize if I seemed harsh before... I didn't mean that towards you."
The girl looks back at him, surprise in her eyes. She nodded slowly. "It's fine. I'll show you to the room." she said, her voice steadier now. She then stepped out, leaving the door slightly opened. Rania was smirking.
Kylo paused, then stared down at her with a frown, eyes wide. "What?!!" he asked nervously, as if already aware of what she was smirking about.
"I told you that you had changed. You would have never apologized to that girl if you hadn't." Rania said, triumph in her voice. She then gently slipped out of his arms. "Come on." she added, grasping his hand.
"That.. doesn't prove anything," Kylo sputtered, but he meekly followed her.
The girl lead them through the base. No one paid them much attention aside from a few glances. She finally led them to a door. "Through there." She tells them, turning to face them. Rania nods. "Thank you. "She said sweetly. The girl smiles. "Of course." She said before leaving
Kylo stood there meekly like a statue, an extremely awkward and nervous expression on his face. Rania could barely budge him. "I.. don't wanna.."
Rania placed her hands on his cheeks. "It's going to be alright Kylo. I will be right beside you." She promised him gently. She pulled him into a gentle hug
Kylo stared straight ahead in shock before mumbling meekly, "O.. okay. I.." He sighed. I'm not ready for this. I'll NEVER be ready for this.. but.. at least I have Rania.. and I don't have to face it alone.
Rania gently let go, and took a hold of his hand. She then pushed the door open. Leia was among a group of commanders. They all stopped talking and looked at them.
Kylo slowly and hesitantly followed after Rania, spurred only by the gentle tug of her hand. He stared up at Leia and the commanders with great fear and anxiety obvious in his face and easily sensed by the Force-sensitives around him. He wished he had his mask.
Rania rubbed circles on his hand with her thumb as she had before. Leia sighed before asking, "How are you two feeling?" "We're fine. Thank you. "Rania answered. She was sparing Kylo from replying as much as she could
Kylo tightly held onto Rania's hand as if he was holding onto a lifeline. He was frozen, staring up at them, his face completely drained of any color whatsoever.
