Yellowmoon halted when the someone's stumbling filled her ears, before Rabbit spoke. " I'm blind. I always have free time. What's going on? Oh, and hello Hazel" She replied, her ears twitching.

(OOC: I'm heading off for the night. I'll be inactive for the first part of the day because of work, but I should be active some after I get off.)
Hazel tilted her head at the mentioning of a jagged rock. There wasn't one that she was aware of. Then again, she didn't know every landmark around here yet either. As she moved to follow Rabbit, she was surprised when he began to drag her. When he stopped and apologized, she smiled. "It's okay. No harm done," she replied. As she continued after him, she spotted Yellowmoon. "Hello, Yellowmoon," she meowed in a friendly tone after the other she-cat had greeted her.
-
(goodnight)
"So, what are you two plotting, I can practically smell distrust off of you two" The she-cat purred, settling herself in a sitting position, her tail swept around her paws.
-
Rabbit laughed again. "Curio, obviously. We're going to find out what actually killed the kit." He turned to see if anyone noticed them, or was going to stop them.
-
"I'm in" The she cat stated, standing immediately. "If I can prove he's what we think he is, then I'm gonna be involved. Let's go" She said, new found determination in her voice. She rested her tail on Rabbit's shoulder, trusting the male to guide her so she didn't have to have her mouth wide ooen.
-
Rabbit glanced at the tail on his shoulder and understood immediately. "He's definitely evil, but he may not actually be involved. Try to keep an open mind. Lets go." He took a step closer to the mouth, urging the girls to follow.
-
Yellowmoon's ears twitched. "If he didn't do this , he's planning something else. I always trust my nose. He reeks of death" She stated, following alongside the top, her eyes wide open as they usually were.
-
Rabbit hated Curio too, but accusing his falsely of murder would damage their reputation more than the girls could imagine. Amber is on his side. "Everything reeks of death right now." He took another step, making sure they were following.
-
Yellowmoon mumbled something about not as much as Curio did, but didn't bother to repeat it to a point where it was audible. "So where are we looking? "
-
//Maybe we should slow down and wait for Pluto.//
Rabbit barely understood a word Yellowmoon said, but didn't bother to ask to repeat it. He knew Curio was probably guilty. At Ambermoon's audible question, he replied "Lets start in the general area he and Scout were sent in. Unless we can catch his scent." At these words, he realized: "Where's Scout?" Did Curio hurt her too? He mentioned another 'puffball', which Rabbit translated to 'kit', did he hurt the kit? To what lengths would he go? If he found out about this patrol, what would he do to them? The words went through his brain too fast to say anything, but he thought all of it. For the third time today, it all boiled down to If Amber Were Here.
-
Yellowmoon's ears twitched as she nodded, still by his side. "What he took Scout? I smelt her earlier, but I thought she was doing her own thing" The she-cat said, panick rising in her chest. Why hadn't she checked it out?
I agree a hundred percent.

(OOC: I'm back! :) )
Hazel followed the others away from the cave, alert. To say that she was on edge would be an understatement. She was worried about the others. Hazel was quiet as the others spoke, her nose wrinkling when she picked up on the stench of death. Ears angling towards Rabbit when he spoke, she began to try and smell for Curio's scent. But, she stopped when he mentioned Scout. A sense of dread began to creep up her spine. "I haven't seen her," the brown tabby replied, turning to Rabbit and Yellowmoon. "You don't think...Oh I hope she's okay," she said, feeling panic beginning to creep up on her. "Should we go back and see if we can pick up on her scent somewhere?"
-
//Just to be sure you know, Scout's not actually dead.//
Rabbit was indeed panicked when neither companion reported seeing Scout. "She went with him on a hunting patrol, but didn't return with him. This is all we know, so far." He didn't really know Scout, but he also didn't want anyone else to die. "And there was probably a kit." Hopefully there still was a kit. He sniffed around for Curio scent around the cave entrance.
-
Raven followed the she-cat out of the cave silently, her eyes narrowed in thought. "A bit strange that Fog died from falling on a jagged rock... He's never been a clumsy kit," the black she-cat murmured. "I wonder if it was really a fox or badger that got him."
Storm glanced up as Violet approached and asked them if they were okay. The young tom kit nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination. "We need to be okay, for mom," he mewed. Frost nodded in agreement, though her eyes stayed down.
-
Yellowmoon opened her her jaws, scenting the air carefully. Slowly she closed them turning her head slightly to the side. "His freshest scent goes that way" She stated softly, as if the diabolical tom was already onto them.
-
Honey flicked an ear at Raven's statement, keeping her warm amber eyes pointed forward. "That's what I'm wondering." Muttered the feline, not really caring whether the mother heard or not. The was more focused on the scents in the air. She was following a trail, a slightly metallic smelling one, however the smells were soon replaced with a sweeter smelling one, making Honey a little frusterated as she noticed brightly colored patches of wild flowers. Giving her tail a flick, the female turned to look at the grieving queen. "How do those look?"
Violet felt tears tugging at the edges of her eyes as the kit spoke. The poor things had just lost their littermate, and they seemed to think they had to hold their grief back just to make their mother feel. "You two are very brave." Purred Violet, running her tail gently down their backs. In an attempt to not keep the silence and a distract them from their grief a little, Violet offered, "Would you like me to see if I can go find a cat who has some bird feathers or something make Fog a little more comfortable tonight at the vigil?" She spoke umder the assumptipn that they would be holding vigil for the lost life. She hoped the two were still too young and inexperienced enough to know Fog wouldn't feel a thing.
-
Raven twitched an ear but didn't reply to her comment. She pricked her ears as Honey lead her to the wild flowers. Her nostrils flared, taking in the sweet scent of the wild flowers and nodded. "Yes, these will be great." Raven purred, beginning to carefully pick some.
At the mention of feathers for Fog, Frost got to her paws with a nod, her eyes shadowed with memories. "His favorite are wren feathers," she stated, remembering his happiness the last time Raven had found some for their nest.
-
(OOC: Okay!)
Hazel only felt her concern grown when Rabbit mention that Scout had went on a patrol with him. I really hope Scout is okay.Upon hearing Yellowmoon's words, Hazel turned to look in the direction she had indicated. Padding over and scenting the air, she too caught the scent. She glanced towards Rabbit and Yellowmoon and inhaled deeply. Hopefully they'd be able to find the kit, and the truth about what had happened to Fog.
Cedar hung back, uncertain of what to say to Raven and the others. He was willing to help dig the grave if they needed help. Really, he'd do whatever they needed him to do. But, he didn't know them well. The quiet tom was uncertain of how to approach. Finally, he bucked up and padded over to Violet. "Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked the she-cat.
-
Amber
Rabbit followed the girls, sniffing for Curio scent as he went. He didn't smell anything yet, but trusted the girls enough to follow them. "I think it's strange that he calls kits 'puffballs'" It was just a little thing he'd noticed, but it seemed to imply that the tom didn't care for their lives.
Curio watched the conversations with the queen, anxiously watching his perfect plan crumble. He was going to get caught! Maybe he should cut his losses and leave now. Or maybe one more target?
-
"Probably so he doesn't feel bad for his actions " The blind she-cat said opening her mouth again, the smell beginning to mix with two other cats. "We're getting closer to where he last saw Scout and the kit"
